If the Algo is not ASIC resistant, then its useless for mortals, they cant mine it.

As I understand correctly, this mainnet will be 3rd Dero blockchain? I mined Dero in January and didn't use wallet since that time... Should I do something special to migrate that very old wallet to new mainnet? Maybe I should migrate it to current blockchain at first?

This is the 3rd full rewrite, and this time our amazing developers created a new type of DAG All you need to do is keep your seed and you will be able to restore from that

Holy shit People, Dero has 1700 Mh/s Network hashrate , and mining difficulty 203.900 millions, while other similar coins like stellite and haven have 11mh/s and 20 Mh/s hasrate and 700 and 2300 milion mining dificulty.
It is thus absolutly worthles to be mining dero with whatever you mine. Who the hell mines this coin like crazy ?
Asic Owners. Cryptonote isn't asic resistant now? CryptoNote is the protocol. CryptoNight, the algorithm, isn't anymore. But there are lots of ASIC resistant variations of it so far. I have an doubt, with Atlantis implementation Will DERO be anti asic or not? Cryptonight v7 its anti asic i gess. At least mining monero its now way easy for me that wose before. Thanks

I’m having issues with wallet. Keeps getting warn/errors and doesn’t seem to be syncing. Did something change with derod lately?

I tried 386 and amd64. Both said released 6/16. It’s Almost acting like I got Atlantis testnet versions, but I verified I downloaded the correct ones

All good now. Some how I ended up on testnet downloads. Looked like it had regular and testnet so I assumed I was in the right place.

Weren't you quoting 500 transactions per second before? I think it could be that quantity if the block time were 3 seconds. Now, because of current global network conditions (specially in 3rd world countries), it was raised to ~9 seconds (for now).

Yep, we're capable of more than 75 TPS with ~9 second blocks (now preparing for mainnet shift) 500TX/s @ ~3 second block times

1. The devs did not announce yet which algorithm will be used for mining after Atlantis, so we do not know if GPU mining will be possible (or profitable) on Dero. Maybe it will be not Cryptonight-family at all, or only CPU mining with daemon will be possible. 2. For mining rig 4Gb ram and 64Gb SSD is enough. You don't need hdd 500gb at all. 3. Power supply unit 600w will be enough only for ~2 video cards AMD and for ~3 NVidia. You should sum energy consumption for all your video cards and add ~100-150 W for the processor and other stuff. 4. Note, that AMD Ryzen 7 1700 processor gives ~520 H/s with overclocking on CryptoNight-V7, the same as Nvidia GTX 1060 - 6 Gb. But it gives only ~200 H/s on CryptoNight-Heavy (GTX 1060 gives ~420 H/s on heavy). I5 3570 processor has only 6Mb L3 cash memory, so on CryptoNight-V7 you can use 3 threads with ~70*3=210 h/s and only 1 thread on CryptoNight-Heavy with ~70h/s, as it requires 4Mb L3 cash per thread. 5. AMD Ryzen 7 1700 is more energy effective with the same hashrate than Ryzen 7 1700x or Ryzen 7 1800. For Ryzen I suggest to buy a good cooler, as the cheap one will be noisy on full load. AMD processors are hotter than Intel. 6. RX560 4Gb is not good either, as it gives only ~310 H/s. The benchmarks for CryptoNight-V7 you can find here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/18IrFEhWP89oG_BTUsQGS5IDG8LUYjCHDiRQkOuQ4a9A/edit#gid=1518673099
