The money won't be lost. The issue is that PayCash will sometimes hold the money and request extra KYC information from our clients when we think it's not really necessary. We are working with them to see if they can cut back on these requests, but it's not clear if we will make any progress. So long as you are OK with that possibility it should be OK.

What is the average time that PayCash (SWIFT) wire transfers take to show the balance on the account?

It's about 4-5 business days if they don't ask for extra KYC info. If they do, then it's another 1-2 business days after they receive the extra info. There's no rule about it, but generally if you transact more than $10K it's more likely to get the request for extra info. Usually the request is for proof of source of funds (so if the source is something straightforward like salary income, then it's pretty easy). We do have a number of Canadian clients who use PayCash fine, so it should be OK as long as you are prepared to provide proof of source of funds if requested.

Really? 4-5 days? That seems a bit excessive. I also have an account with Bitstamp and they usually credit my account within 2-3 days, and sometimes the next day on very rare occasions.
Thank you for your responses thus far. Still waiting for my Kraken account to get verified. It's been 24 hours now, hopefully its done by tomorrow.

Hi, thank you for your PM. I has still been waiting for the Tier4 verification results for about 2 weeks. How long usually do you need to finish a Tier 4 verification request? For I can not withdrawal my BTC until next month.... Thanks.

About the iOS app:

It has been way too long since the iOS app updated to 1.4.0. Could you please offer a update about the "Balances"? For the current version we can only see which coins and corresponding amount on the Balances sheet. I need a feature showing my total assets. I mean to convert all currencies to Bitcoin or euro and show a total assets in Bitcoin on the sheet.

Hi Dargo. Is there an ETA for MtGox claim refunding procedure? I've checked with my account and they have accepted my claim (BTC only). Is there something else that a user that enrolled with Kraken for this procedure can do in order to receive their BTC?

Hey Dargo,

how about a new feature regarding margin trading:
It would be nice to close a long position by buying the bitcoins / close a short position by selling the bitcoins.
Following example:
I have 1000€ at my account. Now the price is dropping hard and I want to buy as much bitcoins as possible. But 1000€ is not enough and the deposit time takes too long (assuming I don't have a fidor bank account).  
Now it would be nice if I could buy up to 5000€ bitcoins with margin trading.
And as soon as my deposit of new Euros arrive, I want to be able to close this margin position by paying the rest amount of euro and get all the bitcoins I bought, without the need to close the margin position by selling the bitcoins again.

Would that be possible? If not, why not?

Yes, we want to update the iOS app, but I'm not sure when it will happen. First we need to hire a new iOS developer (since our previous iOS developer took a position with a new company).

There's no ETA for distributions at this time - we don't know much more than what's been announced by the trustee recently.

Yes, we plan to offer this feature, but there are other development projects in line ahead of it and I don't know when it might come out.

Kraken.. it is impossible. Any, any little action on etherum your exchange shutting down and it is just impossible to sell an etherum.
