Do these numbers look strange to anyone? What's up with the found blocks...I am mining at eligius and btcguild with this unit.

btw, for anyone thats interested in fine tuning the clockspeed of their S1 ... me & fortunenvirtue have 3mhz increments and their values posted for 390-410mhz ... The sweetspot of my particular S1 is 393mhz
Heres a link to the last page of the topic(has the work me and him have been doing)

For some reason, my Antminer S1 2 blades would not route internet traffic through my gateway, even though it was properly set up in the web interface (and rebooted two times). I had to ssh into busybox (default root user/pass = root/root), and

Code:
# route add default gw <MY_INTERNET_GATEWAY_IPV4_ADDRESS>

Then it was running fine (a little disappointment with 430W+ at the wall, expected less)

Unfortunatly i think i have a dead control board. The LAN Lights/LEDs stay on all the time, no matter if a LAN cable is connected or not. This happend once in the past. I could reset it once and the miner worked fine then for 3 days, but now it happend again and reset (with s2 button) doesnt help. I also tried resetting with "the old method (shorting with a wire 3,3v and pin2) but also this didnt help.

I also tried with only first board / only second board / single boards / diffrent power supply nothing helps Sad

Any suggestions?

Might have been here before, but couldn't find a solution with some simple searches:

My new AntMiner from BITMAIN's site seems to run at maximum fan speed even though "Miner status" reports a fan speed of around 3480. Changing ambient temperature does not seem to affect it. As soon as the AntMiner S1 is powered on, it will boost to full fan speed. (Multiple times louder than the other AntMiner S1 mining happily besides it.)

Any solution? I tried flashing the firmware (20131226), but that did not effect the situation at all (kept settings). Could it be that a factory fan-testing setting has been forgotten somewhere or is the fan itself faulty?

I have plenty of ants running 3x to a Corsair HX1050 very reliably with cool cables, pulls ~1000w at the wall.
Also running 3x to the EVGA 1300w g2, ~975w at the wall to 985w at the wall.
2x to RM850 - 760w at the wall
2x AX860i - 740w at the wall
2x AX 760i - 760w at the wall
1x CX750 - 455w at the wall to 435w at the wall

Hope this helps people.

Are any of these overclocked?

Your hardware errors (HW) are too high IMHO. With factory settings, I get only 2 HW in 20 hours hashing:

I have x's on my chips.  It seems to still be hashing, should this be a concern?

1) at <44C you can overclock these a bit
2) as long as its still at 180GH you are fine - but a quick reboot should clear the x's back to o's

24" PCI-E cables with 16AWG wires and stripped ends - great for server PSU mods, best prices https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=563461

at least 7 ;P

1 fan to push exhaust warmth will help, but tbh it may not even be necessary as long as temps are under ~53 degrees

You can take the blades out of the frame and place 2 12mm fans directly on the heatsinks, youll get 5C + temp decrease and less fan noise.

Because reported hashrate (miner side) *includes* the HW error part, so it should be deduced to get the real hashrate.

Example: if I'm mining at reported 200 ghash/s with 10% HW, it's actually the same as hashing at 180 ghash/s with 0% HW, except that at 180 without the HW errors, I'm using less power, mining more efficiently without overclock.

It is/was already the same with GPUs, when you set the intensity (-I xx) too high.

Please don't confusing him! With a overclocked ant this are a really low HW, just about 0.17% not about 10% what you talking about!

Simple math, 203Gh/s-0.17% and with 450Watt power consume > 180Gh/s-0.00% with 360 Watt power consume. 23Ghash more for 90 Watt is a win win.
