In my opinion, RC4 is going to be a game changer if it launches without any issues. I reading through multiple forum postings for other anon coins that are all making reference to RC4 coming soon. All the DRK hatters are slowly fizzling out! My suspicions are, no matter what any other coin releases right now, the market for that coin won't rise much with Dark's RC4 on the horizon. Real investors are holding back buying up small bits of DRK not to pump the market, waiting for the RC4 release. When it lands and works, all the other anon coins will look too weak compared to DRK. The sad part is, I think they already know it, so they are coming up with different ideas to keep them selves alive. I won't name names and fud, but one in particular seems to be focusing on privacy chatting instead of being a useful currency. I guess the old saying goes, there is an ass for every seat. Someone might find some value in that, but not me........
Masternodes can surely be used as anon chat aswell in the near future That's what's also kind of funny to me...... This "other" coin thinks they have something special. Truth is DRK can easily use masternodes and create the same privacy chat feature if not do it better. Instead though, DRK dev's are using their time more wisely creating a anon currency people can actually use and trust. |

Yes this is really poor journalism. If he doesn't know his facts, he should not write about it. The claim that sub-optimal code has been released on purpose in the past is beyond ridiculous. Hey this type of media may reflect a pocket of sentiment about DRK right now. If for one find this healthy to have some doubters out there - Evan is going to prove them all wrong and they will provide fuel for the fire once people realize how truly solid everything about this project is. Will get us back to #3 |

- Darksend limited to 5000DRK per wallet.dat. Client will warn about this the first time it's opened, then disable darksend from then on.
I hope this doesn't stick in final release, and is just a temporary troubleshooting crutch... Most of my wallet.dats are 5 digits... I most definitely want them anonified... |

The 10DRK limit of Legacy DS was known to be a temporary thing... 5K DRK anon limit is, uh, weird. I'd like to think it's temporary because it's just so oddball... It feels like a lack of confidence. "We think it works, but uh, just in case, we don't want whales trying to kill Evan if it fucks up real bad..." It looks bad... Can I send out to split it down? How many wallet.dat files do I freakin' need? It's kinda like MNs... Without multi-entry, it's too many manufactured points of failure. |
