So the main card of UFC fight night this week is Rafael Dos Anjos vs Rafael Fisiev

Dos Anjos is tougher than Fisiev, honestly Dos Anjos is more rounded fighter while Fisiev is more like a kickboxing and not strong in ground. But since he have a better record and active than Dos Anjos, that's why the bookies list him as favorite. I'm not doubt in Dos Anjos power, but since he only have a fight on the last 2 years, I don't know how stable his performance considering he's getting older.

In this fight we have two chicks e.g. Cynthia Calvillo and Antonina Shevchenko, even both of them are beautiful but they're a good fighter since they're favorited against their opponents.

Cannonier tried to wrestle many times and bring him to ground but Izzy improved his defense in every way.
If you watch all Adesanya fights you will see his face it not damaged, and in this fight Cannonier looked like much heavier fighter, bigger muscles and body.
I am not sure what is going to happen in his next fight with Pereira but it's nearly impossible for this to be snooze fest Smiley
Yeah, that's the norm for Izzy fights. Usually, either fighters become frozen because of the fear of catching a kick or counter punch, e.g Costa or they shoot, but don't get the take down. He has one of the best take down defences I do believe.

Yeah, Cannonier would've been heavier on the night. Not sure by how much, but that's usually the case for Izzy too. Stepping up to Jan was a total different story though, he was much heavier in the official weigh in.

I think it has the potential to be a snooze fest, there will be that tension that I've missed though. You know when you get all nervous before the fight for your fighter. Alex will likely have enough threat to bring back that nervousness, but Izzy has improved since he last fought Alex, we haven't seen enough of Alex to determine if he has especially in MMA.

Interesting fight, and I don't mind Alex skipping ahead of the rankings since this sort of has a fairy tale storyline.

WOW! great fighting kittens surely a great beautiful fight to watch, but I am not betting for this event, and I will not be making any picks for the women's division for this event aswell, but Cynthia Calvillo and Antonina Shevchenko look really sexy and both a beauty, I could be mesmerized all day but staying away from betting for now,

Now my picks for the UFC Fight Night: Dos Anjos vs. Fiziev highlight in green are my picks,

Rafael dos Anjos VS Rafael Fiziev

A fight between Rafael, this could be a great fight but I am really not interested in it, but still, I love to watch a good fight, and there is a reason why I am not betting now, Rafael Dos Anjos is a well-rounded fighter he can finish his opponent in a stand-up or by grappling and he is a great grappler in my opinion, just like when he fought Niel Magny that Arm Tringle was really tight for Magny, while Rafael Fiziev, is a great striker with a combination of punches and kicks, high flying kicks, for me Rafel Dos Anjos needs to be careful from Fiziev's kicks, but when the fight goes to the ground which Dos Anjos is an expert with, he can clearly do any submission he can think of but I guess it will depend on Fiziev position, for me, I am going to the Well-rounded Dos Anjos,

Said Nurmagomedov VS D. Silva de Andrade

In this fight I really love the Technicality of Said Nurmagomedov, even though he only got 2 submission wins, I really think he is well-rounded, while Douglas Silva De Andrade, is a great striker, but for this fight, Said Nurmagomedov is more capable with the stand-up in my opinion, even with that much experience Andrade have I think Said is more capable and well-rounded aswell so I think Said Nurmagomedov will win this one,

Jared Vanderaa VS Chase Sherman

These two now have consecutive losses, Jared Vanderaa got 3 consecutive losses from Alexandr Romanov, Andrei Arlovski, and Aleksei Oleinik all well-known fighters in the UFC, while Chase Sherman has 4 Consecutive losses, Andrei Arlovski, Parker Porter, Jake Collier, and Alexandr Romanov for these fight both has good stand-up but I am sure Vanderaa has a decent stand-up, in my opinion, and comparing their fight with Alexandr Romanov Vanderaa pretty much lasted for 2 rounds while Sherman was locked by an Americana on the 1sr round, with their fight Andrei Arlovski Vanderaa made it a Split Decision win for Arlovski while Sherman has a Unanimous decision win for Arlovski and I think Jared Vanderaa has an advantage for this fight he is quite well-rounded than Sherman in my opinion,

Okay, I'm going to change a few things here I think.

Right prediction time. Obviously, I've previously said I won't be betting on this event. Too many close calls, and to be honest I'm not overly familiar with a lot of the fighters on the card. Anyway:

Saidyokub Kakhramonov
Karl Roberson
David Onama
Cody Brundage
Antonina Shevchenko
Aiemann Zahabi
Jamie Mullarkey
Nina Nunes
Jared Vanderaa
Silva de Andrade
Armen Petrosyan
Rafael Fiziev

This card is underrated now looking at all those names, David Onama, Jamie Mullarkey, Petrosyan, and Andrade. This card is quietly a good one, too good to bet on. There's so many close fights that I don't feel comfortable betting on a winner. I might look at some going the distance, and not though. I think that's where the money will be.

I can't stress it enough, no one listen to these predictions above in terms of betting. I'm literally not confident on 80-90% of them.

Caio Borralho instead. I like Petrosyan, but after reviewing some tapes I'm liking Caio in this match up. I wouldn't be surprised if Petrosyan does take it though.

My other pick Antonina Shevchenko isn't a confident one. Her ground game has looked really suspect at times, but her opponent definitely doesn't have the best of records going into this fight. If she can keep it on the feet I expect a win, if not I'd go with Casey, marginally.

Right, to my bets (I am making some!). I still have left over winnings in my account, after withdrawing some of it, so thought why not. Here's my bets:

- David Onama 1.12 (probably a knockout, but I'm using this as a buffer so if he shits the bed I'm going to be pissed)
- Jamie Mullarkey by decision (very likely a knockout in this fight, but going where the value is at)
- Nunes vs Calvillo to go the distance
- Said Nurmagomedov decision
- Caio Borralho

This would return 68.85 at this time. I'll be reviewing some more tape, but I'm pretty sure my final bet will look something like this.

My prediction on RDA vs Fiziev is 50/50. Total random. RDA has been fighting in ufc for ages. He has fought nearly every lightweight top fighter. He has tons of experience. Lots of 5*5min fights. On the paper this gives him huge advantage. On the other - he has lost nearly to every top fighter. And prefers to brawl instead of using his bjj.

Fiziev is younger, quicker and likes to explode. But we barely seen him fighting 3 rounds. We know nothing about his ground game. Havent had such an experienced mma opponent before.

My prediction - anything can happen. This fight will end with UD for Fiziev (no matter how hard he strikes, RDA has stone head) of rear naked choke by RDA.

Totally agree with 50/50 analysis.  We are to find out Fiziev's ground game in this fight. If he has a training, Fiziev may over power RDA even if RDA can successfully take him down. Just a hunch. Fiziev is not very technical but he is fast, he can duck incoming strikes and strike back faster as well so anything can happen when another fighter is a volume puncher with power.

UD for Fiziev is very possible but because this two has similar style which is to clash in the middle, someone will be KOed eventually. Probably because I hate UD.

I'm feeling confident, which usually means I'm way off. So, I'm still going to put that disclaimer that I have no clue what I'm doing, and you shouldn't follow my picks, at least thinking that I'm an analyst. I've literally only won one MMA this year Cheesy.

Having said that, this event isn't as bad as I first thought. There's some good fights, some decent match ups, and I actually expect it to be more entertaining than last weeks headliner, which was arguably one of the more disappointing events this year.

^  Oh...  Fiziev vs RDA and after seeing what went on for the whole 5 rounds with Adesanya vs Cannonier?  Definitely!  Fiziev is really good at striking, I think he has decent wrestling defense but it hasn't really been tested yet.  RDA will test him.  Test his wrestling defense and his cardio.  Omg can't wait!  It's gonna be a great main event.  I've been backing Fiziev since his win vs Marc Diakiese.  But I have a feeling RDA could derail the hype train.  We'll see.

I think Fiziev wins here again, but I am more interested to see Caio Borralho in action on co-main event.
He might be good addition to Middleweight category and this is his second fight in UFC, with big reach advantage against Petrosyan.

There is one fight canceled just hours before start of this UFC event with Nina Nunes dropping off in fight against Cynthia Calvillo due to stomach virus problem.
I don't know if this was really a virus or something related with weight cutting that can create issues like this, but I wanted to bet against Nunes before this news.

For anyone who didn't make predictions for Sportsbet UFC Multi Master Challenge, there is still time:

the odds is saying Fiziev. participants in this multimaster challenge also are rooting for Fiziev with 1.48. Watching Fiziev can take punches from his opponent, he may also take the punches of RDA easily. what he may not be prepared for is that takedowns which is the best course of action by RDA to submit a wild man like Fiziev. the old RDA will derail him.

I think RdA will win the match against Fiziev and that's because of the respect he'd have for RdA and the experience he has to fight 5 rounds and use the energy wisely while being tough through the fight. Both fighters are going all in on their stand up game and not focusing much on ground game. We could witness some fireworks. Cant wait. Cheesy

You won't be surprised because Fiziev has Knock out RDA on the last round!. This the biggest win on his careers and it will increase his confidence in the future. The result is bid surprise to us who bet RDA in begining.

Not really surprised since the bookie already listed Fiziev as favorited while Dos Anjos as underdog, so we're expect Fiziev will win, but we're taking a risk to bet Dos Anjos due to his experience and rank #7 higher than Fiziev #10, but you're right this is his biggest win so far.

Fiziev is really smart, he set up a fake low knee to make Dos Anjos's eye focus on his knee, after that Fiziev hit the different side of Dos Anjos since his hand didn't protect his face.

The result for the UFC Fight Night: Dos Anjos vs. Fiziev, for me is OK to lose on this event because I really don't put up any bets, but for RDA to hit the canvas like that was really a shocker, the only knockout that RDA get was 3 and those fighters are his fight with Jeremy Stephens, Clay Guida was a jaw injury, Eddie Alvarez and now Rafael Fiziev,

Rafael dos Anjos VS Rafael Fiziev ROUND 5 KO/TKO - LOST

I was shocked by the fight Rafael Fiziev Knockdown Dos Anjos, clearly, on the canvas, Michael Chiesa, Leon Edwards, Kamaru Usman Tony Ferguson, and Colby Covington can not Knock the guy down but Fiziev knock RDA down and the referee put a stoppage, and some say that it was an early stoppage but in my opinion, it was a good stoppage Fiziev will surely give RDA a hell of a beating when the referee couldn't stop it early, But in my opinion, Rafel Dos Anjos has so many opportunities to takedown or make engagement on Fiziev but he hasn't taken it, this is a head-scratching thing for me, and Rafel Fiziev clearly has a good takedown defense, that is why when Fiziev have seen an opportunity he will take it, so this is a clear win for Fiziev,

Said Nurmagomedov VS D. Silva de Andrade ROUND 3 DECISION - WIN

Clearly, that kicks from Said Nurmagomedov have put pressure on de Andrade, and pretty much Said Nurmagomedov takedowns, Silva de Andrade does have a solution to retaliate, but those kicks from Said were pretty much effective that all 3 judges give the fight to Said Nurmagomedov, Michael Bell, scored 30 - 27, Adalaide Byrd, scored 29 - 28, and Derek Cleary, scored 29 - 28 making it a unanimous decision win,

Jared Vanderaa VS Chase Sherman ROUND 3 KO/TKO - LOST

Vanderaa really has the power punch here that Sherman needs to be prepared that is why he has a good job, and head movement, while Vanderaa isn't moving his head so much, that is why Sherman's fist is always getting in, it was a close fight but Chase Sherman pretty much has many hits than Vanderaa, but on the 3rd round Vanderaa pretty much hitting Sherman I say it was a brawl, and when Sherman has got the opportunity he stormed into Vanderaa to win a KO/TKO,

Alright night of fights. The main event was good. Other than that, not too much to write home about. After Ricky screwed me, I put a bet on for Sherman to win via decision since the odds were just too good, Said to win via decision, and then Borralho to win. For a couple of k, and bloody Sherman had to knock out his opponent didn't he. He was so close Cheesy.

Well, that bet would've come in if I didn't replace the Nunes vs Calillo fight, with Ricky. Bloody Ricky couldn't hit a barn door if it was right in front of him. Close night for me for some decent money. Too bad. I'm liking the look of the next event though.

^  Aimann Zahabi's older brother is Firas Zahabi.  The guy runs Tristar Gym who once housed two great fighters, GSP and Rory MacDonald.  He could come up with a game plan to beat a supposed superior fighter in these low level matches imho.

Anyway the next event looks like there's gonna be around three or so good underdog picks at first glance.  It's gonna be another greasy card but the main event will def be great.

Note to self for the next event:  Never ever put a low level match up at the top two tickets of the lottery...  Would've won thhree tickets again if not for the Lawrence pick.  Broke even as I won the top ticket tho...

I think RdA will win the match against Fiziev and that's because of the respect he'd have for RdA and the experience he has to fight 5 rounds and use the energy wisely while being tough through the fight. Fiziev starched RDA.  Cheesy

Even though it is dos anjos under, I did not expect such a finish from Fiziev. In fact, when you look at the way the fight went, Anjos shot very effectively in the fourth round, he had a good elbow when they broke apart at the end of the round, going into the fifth round, I was surprised to see that Fiziev finished so fast because Anjos had a good round. Fiziev had been using that left hook from the beginning of the round, and he finally landed an accurate explosive hit and finished TKO.

Brian Ortega is still favorite win, but even 2 years different old, Yair will hold his equipment and if win, growning up to #2 or #3 position from current rank #4. this fight is very interesting to watch what else Brian was lost in the last match.
