Losing 4th wicket at 203 runs and further making a score above 400 and still continuing with two more wickets is really an unexpected performance from Bangladesh. Right now the score is 440/6 with a lead of 112 runs. The performance from Bangladesh in New Zealand ground is the important thing to be noted. There is more chance of a draw than a win. If Bangladesh makes a win, then it'll be a big blow for the top order New Zealand.

BAN are the verge of a historic Test win as NZ have got 17 runs lead with only 5 wickets remaining. BAN must try to restrict lead to 100 - 150 runs, so that they have a bright chance of winning this Test match. Ebadot Hossain had a blockbuster spell as he manged to get 4 key wickets. South Africa is just 100 runs behind. Has collected 102 runs and lost 3 wickets. The first session is not over yet. South Africa is playing well. But I did not rely on their players. At any moment they will start losing wickets. The South African team is now basically like Bangladesh. Batsmen's performance is irregular. However, it is expected that they will not lose all the wickets before 202. They will be ahead of India by at least 50 runs. Although it is not enough.

It seems like SA failed to take advantage of there good bowling. They are still 100 runs short and 4 wickets gone, if they keep on playing like that I am sure they will fell short of India 202. India has strong batting line up and if that line up clicked in second innings, it will be difficult for SA to chase huge target. They are already 1 test down in the series.

As much as I watch Bangladesh's match against New Zealand, I am amazed. The youngsters of Bangladesh team are playing like experienced players. Bangladesh finished their first innings with 458 runs. They were 130 runs ahead of New Zealand.
Since New Zealand is an experienced team. So I thought they will play better in the second inning than in the first inning. But at the end of the fourth day they collected 147 runs losing 5 wickets. Bangladesh team has a chance to win the match. If they can take all the wickets of New Zealand in the first session of the next day.

Currently, match is well-balanced for both teams, but surely tomorrow first hour is very important for both teams if India able to have 220+ lead then surely they will on driving seat with current both well experienced batsmen on crease and doing good job they can give first series win in South Africa. I loved that Pujara took a aggressive approach, it was refreshing. Hope he and Rahane continue this partnership and strengthen team position. Yeah India do need 250 runs on the board as target because we are 1 bowler short due to Siraj's hamstring injury and he's not 100% fit. If he is fit then even 220 score looks good on this pitch.

I never expected this turnaround in the match, Bangladesh played really well and they just need 37 runs to win the match and create history. Glad that i did not place a bet on the match because i would have went with New Zealand before the match because i could not see Shakib Al Hasan in the team line up and the batsman turned the match upside down with their first innings performance and then Ebadot Hossain did the rest and i am hearing this name for the first time  .

Shakib Al Hasan seems to be the senior player to guide the team. At times Bangladesh team used to loss matches due to lack of experience, because of fresh faces. This time the young players have utilised their energy in the right way. That to defeating New Zealand in its home ground is a big history, because the climatic conditions changes between the countries. Most of the time teams from Asian continent finds difficulty playing there. Lets see what's gonna happen in the upcoming match.

This is hilarious the match has completely changed. First session NZ was in control of this match but what happened in the second session is hilarious they themselves were not able to play on the pitch that they created. What a turnaround by the Bangladesh team they only need 24 runs to win this match.

From the scores it is clear that New Zealand has lost its confidence once after the massive scoring of Bangladesh in the first innings. New Zealand should've managed to score atleast the first innings score, because they had the home ground support.

I am not yet able to digest the outcome of the New Zealand vs Bangladesh match. On paper, no one gave any chance for the Bongs before the match. They were without star players like Tamim and Shakib, and were playing under hostile conditions against the best pace bowling attack in the world (and that too against the WTC champs). It still amuses me that a bowling lineup that consisted of Boult, Jamieson, Southee and Wagner conceded a massive 458 runs in the first innings against a team that ended up at the last place during the ICC World Test Championship of 2019-21.

We have seen Bangladesh's weak Test team in the past. But this match was completely different. Their batting was very nice. Every player on the team has helped raise the team's scoreboard. At the same time, New Zealand lost all their wickets for just 169 runs in the second innings. I thought yesterday the match would be a draw. But Bangladesh played very well and won the match by 8 wickets.

New Zealand was able to dominate in the game on the first day only, the rest 4 days was under control of Bangladesh team. And this is really unexpected victory from Bangladesh, because they are playing with their young and inexperienced players. But they have performed better than the experienced Kiwi players. Do you know the betting odds was 32× for Bangladesh win at the end of day 1 and I have mentioned it here. The youngsters has proven the odds wrong.

New Zealand has made a good score today. Still I'm not going to keep them ahead, but the betting odds is fully in favour of them. Currently the odds is 1.06× for New Zealand win, which is 32× for Bangladesh.

Yes that's the first surprise of 2022. No one was expecting such performance from Bangladesh. Credit for this victory goes to Ebadot Hossain who took 1 wicket in first innings and 6 and second innings. Another positive development for Bangladesh is that there batting line up performed well after so many years. Hope Bangladesh will capitalize this victory.

Can't able to make any sense of what's happening here. Pujara and Rahane are batting like Sehwag and morning session run rate is touching almost 6 (overall 4.5).
