I am not enjoying the match between Bangladesh and New Zealand. Because I thought New Zealand would easily win the match. Since we have seen the performance of the Bangladesh team in the last few Test matches. Bangladesh lost and the performance was very bad.

But today, I was a little surprised to check the scoreboard. New Zealand did 328 and Bangladesh did 401/6. As far as I am concerned, this is the first lead of the Bangladesh team against any country outside Bangladesh. Bangladesh is ahead by 73 runs.

Really?? Thanks for sharing this stats. This is much needed performance from down and out Bangladesh. Mominul Haque (c) and Litton Das played a vital role in getting such lead. Bangladesh must try to get lead of 150 and then try to bowl out NZ.

The team expects Liton and Muminul to play well because they are now experienced player. However, the performances of Mahmudul Hasan Joy and Najmul Hasan Shanto were outstanding.

The Bangladesh team was in dire need of a suitable opener. The opening pair can't stay in the crease even for 10 overs. Although Shadman could not score much, Joy and Shanto played very well. And other batsmen have also been able to maintain consistency. All in all, Bangladesh team's collection is quite good.

The Bangladesh team was in dire need of a suitable opener. The opening pair can't stay in the crease even for 10 overs. Although Shadman could not score much, Joy and Shanto played very well. And other batsmen have also been able to maintain consistency. All in all, Bangladesh team's collection is quite good.

Opening pair was crease for 18th over and scored 43 runs. They were a bit slow but its fine, they need to stay on pitch if they are successful in staying on the pitch then runs will come automatically. Even there tail is doing good, one thing is clear new zealand will have to fight hard to win this.

When you have only five batsmen and three of them are passengers, it doesn't come as a surprise. Only openers and tail enders are scoring runs. India's batsmen have struggled today. It is time for Pujara to leave team India since he has become a burden to the team. If India loses this test, the selectors and team manager will be forced to think.

In the end, India struggled to take their total to 200 plus and was able to do so only due to some good hits from Ashwin towards the end.

There are 40 wickets that need to be fall in 5 days thats means 8 wickets per day. On first day 11 wickets fell, so one thing is clear we are not heading towards draw there must be some winner for this game. Right now SA aim should be to score 300 runs and get lead of 100 runs. Shocking performance from Bangla tigers after losing very badly at home against Pakistan now they are in good position against Kiwis at Mount Maunganui with 73 runs lead and 4 wickets in hand Yasir Ali and Mahdy Hasan also contributing very positvely with 31 runs partnership another 30 runs can bring them into better position for having good confidence booster game for them. Am not so sure about this theory. BCCI wouldn't want to take such a risk since abandoning Kohli could seriously screw the team morale which could lead to losses in the long-term.

Losing 4th wicket at 203 runs and further making a score above 400 and still continuing with two more wickets is really an unexpected performance from Bangladesh. Right now the score is 440/6 with a lead of 112 runs. The performance from Bangladesh in New Zealand ground is the important thing to be noted. There is more chance of a draw than a win. If Bangladesh makes a win, then it'll be a big blow for the top order New Zealand.

Pujara and Rahane earned their criticism without any doubt and i'm expecting one of em to get drop in next match but you can't be serious about throwing name of Ishan Kishan and Venkatesh Iyer in red ball cricket. They are good prospect in limited over cricket but their FC numbers are not up to mark as far as test cricket is concern, if i'm not wrong then there are like at least 10-15 good batters standing in queue for their test call up.

Bangladesh bossing the game at Bay Oval. Hope they wrap up kiwi's inning soon and may be under 100 chase? Finger cross no collapse also.

South Africa is just 100 runs behind. Has collected 102 runs and lost 3 wickets. The first session is not over yet. South Africa is playing well. But I did not rely on their players. At any moment they will start losing wickets. The South African team is now basically like Bangladesh. Batsmen's performance is irregular. However, it is expected that they will not lose all the wickets before 202. They will be ahead of India by at least 50 runs. Although it is not enough.

Edit: As I expected, they lost anoter wicket. Dussen returned to the dressing room after collecting only 1 run. It's now 102/4
