India VS New Zealand
First ODl of India against New Zealand are about to start , toss has been done India has won the toss and take a decision of bat first, starting lineup of India will be R Sharma (c), S Gill, V Kohli, I Kishan (wk), SK Yadav, H Pandya, W Sundar, S Thakur, K Yadav, M Shami, M Siraj.
While New Zealand starting lineup is F Allen, D Conway, H Nicholls, D Mitchell, T Latham (c & wk), G Phillips, M Bracewell, M Santner, H Shipley, B Tickner, L Ferguson.
It's a great combination from both strong team, we can say this will be exciting match to match because king Kohli is in home , let's see how new Zealand can stop him

India's captain Rohit Sharma has called the toss and elected to bat first in the first ODI. It is great to see SK Yadav and Ishan Kishan get a chance to play. With limited options, they worked their hearts out and it's now time to clinch the job. The team needs Umran to gain more experience ahead of the World Cup, so Shardul should be replaced by Umran.

Management will not give rest to Rohit and Kohli from the ODIs because WC is on the line and no one is going to replace Rohit in ODI at least this year. Sanju is injured.

Rohit is not going to be replace for the next couple of years as India is still testing Vice Captains. Till the world cup these two shouldn't be rested both are looking good with bat. The continuation will help them a lot  when they play in the world cup.

That's what the management thinking and it's logical so can't blame them.

India got off to a good start but Indian openers are hardly rotating strikes.

59 runs in 11 overs and just 5 singles, they are only banking on boundaries. Not bad but at the same time they are playing lot of dot balls which is not good practice.

Ireland vs Zimbabwe
The first ODI match between Ireland and Zimbabwe was started. Ireland choose to bat first and they took  25 runs in 9 overs and they already loose two big wickets.  Looking at their performance, it is not yet clear what is going to happen but currently I would put Zimbabwe ahead of Ireland in terms of strength even though Ireland are two steps ahead of Zimbabwe in the ODI rankings by a few points.
Because the Ireland team is considered strong in T20 format and there they lost 2-1 against Zimbabwe and because Zimbabwe is a bit stronger than Ireland in ODI format, I think Zimbabwe will win today's match. Now let's see how Ireland's perform their bowling performance  anthe outcome of the match will depend on it.

Zimbabwe came out to bat and scored 182 runs in 39 overs.Zimbabwe batting started with great performance.Zimbabwe batsman Andrew Balbirnie scored 98 runs from 121 balls.If he can score 2 more runs he will complete 100 runs in this match.Harry Tector he is making 79  54 runs from the ball, these two batsmen have started to perform well. I think if Zimbabwe can keep the wickets and play then they can score like 250 runs very easily.

No doubt he could be asset for the Indian team as young and responsible batsman which stand on difficult situation for the team because while we have four quick wickets I was feeling it's hard for them to reach at 290 to 300 but just because of Shubham Gill today achieve a massive target against inform New Zealand and now having good chance to win this match by big margin because after 25 overs New Zealand is having 110/5 with Latham and  Michael Bracewell at crease, but match is completely in Indian control just because of early breakthrough which occur by Mohammad Siraj.

With this performance of Indian batting lineup and bowling from the New Zealand I have feeling we are going to have another whitewash in ODI by Indians because things looking too good for them and New Zealand is having now answers for these queries from Indian batting line up.

A very good batting display by the Irish batting in this ODI helps them to have competitive target on scoreboard Captain Andy Balbirnie and seasoned batsman Harry Tector have 200 runs partnership after losing two early wickets which help them for having 288 runs for lost of 4 wickets which is surely massive target by them.

In reply, Zimbabwe also lost few early wickets and reach at 175 for 4 when rain interrupted match Sikandar Raza and Burl were on crease with the partnership of 76 runs and good run rate but now things looking not good because DLS showing if we have no more match then Ireland will win this match by 2 runs which could be big setback for them in this first ODI of the series.

They have managed to score 131 runs but this score is not sufficient for this condition.

After watching Shubman Gill's game today, I thought to write something, I thought who has the record of 200+ runs.  But by searching the website, I see that there are many owners of 200 runs but Indian players have recorded only 7 times.  Rohit Sharma, Ishan Kisan, Sochin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Shubman Gill scored 200 against New Zealand today.
Breaking records and making records in cricket is just a casual affair.  Every day many amazing things happen in cricket.  A few days ago, Sri Lanka lost to India by 317 runs.  Getting all out for just 15 runs in my BBL Premier League.

New Zealand have been playing very well so far and the way they have been collecting runs they deserve to win this match, they now need 83 runs from 48 balls which is almost two runs per ball. If they play like this it is possible to collect these runs but I am afraid of their game and confused that they will be able to do it because India is a very smart team so it will be very difficult to play against them.
