I don't think he can back at Barcelone anymore. It is not Barca's way. Pep may want to turn back but I don't think Barcelona will want him again.
The most recent coach to have managed Barcelona over two spells is Louis Van Gaal. He was coach for three years before departing in 2000 and returning in 2002. He was sacked a few months later. Pep Guardiola was very successful at Barcelona during his for year stint, and I have no doubt that he would be welcome at the club if he chooses to return, as he is still one of the best managers around. I had read in a few places that Barcelona could take Xavi an offer for a new mission. Don't you think it's a good experiment? For both Xavi and Barcelona.
The club and fans are hungry for success, especially in the UCL, an experiment is not what the club needs now, and it may be too early in his career for Xavi, I would rather he managed some other teams and also built his style and philosophy before taking up the Barca job which I have no doubt he will get eventually.

Nobody here can say that Pep has failed. I'm sure that's not the point. I just don't think that he will be asked by Barcelona after the teams led by Guardiola. Barcelona's desire to win for UCL has always been. For this, I'm not sure if they willingly want to reconcile with their former coach. As I said in my previous post, I guess they will prefer a new and ambitious manager instead of an old and costly manager. If you remember the first years Pep came to Barcelona, he was not a career coach.

If Barcelona prefers a style with a new and ambitious coach then I think the UCL title will never be achieved because the new coach will not know the barcelona style of play, which is really how they control disobedient players that is the most difficult. Pep Guardiola already knows what happened in Barcelona so he can win UCL several times with Barcelonan. There is also that coaching will be held by Xavi will be like Lampard who successfully coached Chelsea.

Pep wants to lead only the biggest clubs, and after Barcelona, Bayern and Manchester City there are not many more opportunities for him Real or Liverpool? No way! So he'll either stay in Manchester or go back to Barcelona, in my opinion. In Barcelona there is a lot of problems at the moment, the new coach is not accepted by most players, including Messi And if Barcelona don't win any titles this season, a new change of coach is likely. Maybe it'll be the right time to get Pep back I liked Guardiola's Barcelona but there is no way he will return there and I think it's not necessary too. I remember in some interviews he strictly stated that there is no way he will return in FC Barcelona but idk reasons. I remember a lot of fans didn't Luis Enrique and there were some rumors that footballers were against him too but he wasn't changed. To be fair, I don't know what's happening in FC Barcelona lately because of my busy schedule but I think again that current coach will be here at least for two years. Btw I would love to state that recently it was confirmed: FC Barcelona will play to Real Mallorca at 10pm on Saturday 13 June (See more details).

Just like Sir Alex Ferguson and other past genius coaches, Guardiola was one of a kind who will forever be missed by Barcelona. I support his decision of never returning to Barcelona because it will totally tarnish the image he left there. He got Barcelona at a perfect time but if he does go back there right now, he won;t be the same old Guardiola we know about

Guardiola always have been great coach and he still has a year left on his contract with City but the recent City getting banned from CL has put his stay into question. There are many rumours of him getting a move to Juventus right now after the City was banned. What I find good about him is that wherever he goes he quickly puts his tactics and game style he wants in to the team's play. Looking at how he went from Spain to Germany and move to England , I don't think getting back to Spain again and to manage Barca is on his mind.

I am sure Barca will find someone who everyone accepts or they may go with current manager. Setién is not so bad actually, but I agree his play mentality does not suit Barcelona. I had read in a few places that Barcelona could take Xavi an offer for a new mission. Don't you think it's a good experiment? For both Xavi and Barcelona.
Not sure it's the time to experiment for Barca as we've been doing that over and over now. They have a way to play that can win and be attractive, the time for them is to prepare for a post-Messi era, which is coming very, very soon. They might have to look beyond Xavi. I love him but this isn't the time for it.

But of course, nobody knows what kind of coach he will be. To me, Xavi may be good because he knows Barcelona's culture closely. It would also be a name that all players playing in Barcelona would respect. However, it may be a little strange because there are players in the team who played together for a period.

The fate of a coach always depends solely on the result. If Barcelona doesn't become Spain's football champion or doesn't win the European Champions League, Barcelona will start looking for a new coach, no doubt about it. It is already a known fact that the players are not satisfied with the new coach and his work and there are also serious conflicts in the management of the Club. Also, Barcelona has serious financial problems. It will be interesting to see what happens next with the club and the players.

So, it seems that after restart, La Liga schedule will be very intensive. From June 11th until 19th July games will be played every day in order to finnish season ASAP. First game after return will be derby of Sevilla between Sevilla and Betis - should be great game for return. https://www.espn.com/soccer/spanish-primera-division/story/4099175/messis-back-la-liga-to-restart-on-june-11-president-confirmsThere's only one guy who could fix Barca's current problems. Pep. I think with everything going on with him, City banned at CL, mom died recently, he'll be looking forward to coming home. He could also take a year off again before coming back to management.
I think every fan of Barcelona would love to see return of Pep. But there is too many problems and drama in Barca office now. But maybe after president elections it would be possible. If Laporta would become president again, he said that he would welcome Pep with open hands. Yup. It's the only move that makes sense after City imo. I mean even without the pandemic, I think it's more likely for Pep to return to Barca than go manage Juve despite all the rumors coinlocket's been hyping, pointing for a move to the Italian club. Dunno... That's just me. Serie A's traditional tactic style does not fit what Pep is looking for and the league has lost its position among top leagues in Europe in the last decade. From all of those, I don't think Pep will move to Serie A, even to manage Juventus. What Pep is looking for likely a club that can help him fastly win the first Champions League since the day he left Barca. Pep need it to refresh his reputation. He won so many national titles, with Bayern and Manchester City but such titles don't help to protect Pep from failure accusations, from his bosses and from fans.
Both Manchester City and Pep have all reached their limits and they should desparate for better future. Have any of you think of PSG as the next destination of Pep?
@tokeweed last year Pep revealed his desire to return to Barcelona sooner or later, however he didn’t specify whether he would return for 2020 - 2021 season or no, but under the current circumstances it makes sense for him to return to Barcelona immediately. @hd49728 it’s worth mentioning that Man City may loose many player’s due to their champions league ban, and hence Pep may use this as an excuse and force his way out of the club. Sources: https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/9384948/man-city-pep-guardiola-contract-barcelona/https://www.gamblingsites.com/blog/5-reasons-why-pep-guardiola-is-leaving-man-city-this-summer/Yeah saw that. It was just somethng he said that could happen and something we could take with a grain of salt at that time. What I'm saying now is after Rona, the death of his mom and prolly the some sort of trauma it caused his family, he could be thinking of moving back closer to home now.

It's probably going to fall deeper as we approach the 11th

We'll resume the league with one of the best derbies in the world: The Great Derby https://www.pinnacle.com/en/soccer/spain-la-liga/matchups/Real Betis ML @4.25??? reminder that there's no "home advantage", anything can happen under such circumstances, plus if there's something that Sevilla definitely needs in tough games like this one is the support of the fans (if you've seen at least one crucial game in the Sanchez Pizjuan, you know what I mean). Also, this is the schedule for the first matchweek post-corona: sourceAs you can see, matches will be played one after the other one, same as the Premier League. Sweet! I'm probably go to follow the same pattern of bets that happened in Germany, I'll be backing the heavy favorites for the first set of rounds with the home advantage gone, It will be better to back teams with better squads I can't wait to have the boys back in the red and blue shirts, the odds are still worth taking now. It's probably going to fall deeper as we approach the 11th Yeah wonder know which teams will be Schalke and Leipzig to avoid it, ATM? Barcelona, Real Madrid maybe? It is nice to see another league starting after 10 days! Waiting to see how their performance will be after this long break!

And finally some good news for Real fans Real Madrid working towards playing at the Bernabeu in October... with fans present''[/i] It seems that Real will play the remaining matches this season at the Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano at Valdebebas and will later return to their stadium. Real is preparing plans to open part of the stadium for fans in October. Initially, only a third of the seats would be filled, and on January the entire stadium would be filled Source: https://www.marca.com/en/football/real-madrid/2020/05/29/5ed02d2246163f56438b4591.htmlWith the La liga coming back like league's in the Europe a part of my wish is been accomplish. Even if no fan for now we can enjoy the game on time or stream online. About fans coming in it won't be too long, let me drift to the protest happening the social distancing is violated is This that we can place something above the pandemic or live with it

@tomahawk9, it's great to see schedule and can't wait for return of La Liga. But I'm not sure that I'm going to bet on first round after quarantine, it's too tricky. We don't know how players spend lockdown period and in what condition they will return. It's possible that strong team on paper will have such pathetic performance as Schalke in Bundesliga.

I think any team of players with poor fitness condition can experience the shocking performances as schalke has done in the bundesliga after the league resumed. There will be overweight players and players lacking fitness, and the stakes will favor the home team more, making it a little clumsy. But i do think, watching training sessions cameo can let you have an idea of the fitness level of each top club players in the la liga

This is what i was thinking about too. With the loss of momentum, no frequent training and regular football for the last few months. Most players are going to be a little rusty and unfit. So i would expect that to reflect in club performances too. I think am just going to wait for a couple of match days before i can place any bets.

Yeah Schalke going shit now, got lose in all of matches after Bundesliga returned, which 3 of 4 teams they played against are literally have lower ranking than them. But their bad performance already showed up even before the league stopped. But following the result of first game week after Bundesliga back again, all of 6 top teams got win, except RB Leipzig that got draw. So I'm sure the top 6 of La Liga; Barcelona, Madrid, Sevilla, Sociedad, Getafe, and Atleti would get positive result, or at least draw.
Today I came to Sportsbet.io and checked the odds on parlay of these 6 games they will play, which I get 2 options below; - The odds for parlay of those 6 big teams to win : 30.35- The odds for parlay of those 6 big teams to win or draw : 3.04The second one would be a better and safer option bet I think, but if you want to just get fun and exciting bet on the first week of LaLiga after it's stopped for 2 months, you might try to bet small amount on the first option

On line portal RAC1 claims that Barcelona hid that there are 7 infected with the corona virus in the Club, five players and two members of the professional staff. They became infected at the beginning of the pandemic and have now recovered. If this news is confirmed to be correct, will it affect the start of La Liga, what do you think? The news was reported in the Croatian media by the online portal Index: https://www.index.hr/sport/clanak/spanjolci-tvrde-barcelona-krila-da-je-imala-sedmoricu-zarazenih-koronavirusom/2187394.aspxSorry, couldn't find link from the original News, don't understand Spanish If somebody can understand Spanish, here is the link from the portal: https://www.rac1.cat/
