Which of the posts are you replying to? Where did you read the prayers that you are hating? And where did you read that they are only the people worship God?
Even if praying is used in the context, praying is not only associated with religion. To pray also means to wish.

I am surprised to see that Ivory coast will still have chances of qualifying to KO stage. If that happens, I'll be very happy for them. They are the host, they don't need to exit so early in order to keep their fans happy.

That is how life is, someone failure is another person success, Ivory Coast are at high risk for qualifying because the remaining two groups non of them have won two matches consecutively, the first in the table only have 4 points, Namibia have the same point with Ivory Coast, what can help Ivory Coast to qualify is that in group E Mali, south Africa should win, especially for Mali should score more goals if possible 2-3 goals and in group F Morocco, Dr congo should win their match too, this will make Ivory Coast qualified, I hope they make it to correct their past mistake and make their country proud.

How far can we the fans rate the performance of the super Eagles in this tournament right from the first leg of the group stage? I can't be happy with how the Eagles played in their first and last game, it was disappointing and now we're facing Cameroon in the round of 16, I was hoping for us to go head to head with the champions Senegal right from the beginning of this year's AFCON. Let's see if this game on Saturday will be the last we'd be hearing the name Super Eagles in this tournament, to me Cameroon and Nigeria have the same strength but when it comes to having quality players we have them more than Cameroon, so a draw is suitable for that game.

Cameroon vs Nigeria will be one very fun match to watch as these are two top African teams. What’s similar between them is that, they haven’t been able to attain their full potentials as Giants of Football in Africa.While Nigeria is lacking the shooting strength upfront, Cameroon aren’t looking composed at the defense. The Super Eagles are playing average football but they are getting the results. They have not given us the confidence that they can go all the way to winning the title. So far, only a handful of the players have impressed me. The other players have not displayed the skill and stamina needed to play African football. Victor Osimhen gets chances and he throws them away, the Osimhen at Napoli would have scored those goals yesterday but the Osimhen at the AFCON is shooting wide. I think it’s time for José Peseiro to trust his other strikers.

Osimhen is an elite striker. Perhaps, He's not to everyone's taste but arguments can't be made against his consistency & progression across 3 leagues & teams. It goes against every grain of common sense to focus exclusively on AFCON as a test of his abilities when none of the shining stars has particularly come to the fore.

Definitely the Nigerian defence has been solid like the Rock of Gibraltar, however their frontliners hasn't proven to be super excellent given their inability to convert chances and their last winnings didn't come the way most people expected. the cameroonian team too haven't been too impressive with their pattern of play, their last game against Gambia showed that they are not a team to be scared of. So for me I feel the Nigeria Vs Cameroon game is a game between countries that are of the same quality, and the both teams of are the same substance, so visualizing who will be the winner of the game has been something I've not been able to think out.

It is a good thing that they let the coach go because the Man look lost and don't know how to handle the team. As the host nation they should have performed more better compared to their performance so far.

I definitely won't agree that Cameron and Nigeria are of the same quality and substance, Nigeria is a strong team, a better than tactical team than Cameroon, but the problem with nigeria currently is that, the team are not playing in one accord, some players seems like they are completely new to the team and still learning or trying to blend in, this has been the major problem with the Nigerian team right from the beginning of this AFCON tournament, assuming the Nigerian players were all playing in one accord as a one team, winning matches wouldn't have been much of a struggle for them, and their chances of going far in this tournament would have been very high, but currently, it seems like all the matches they've won was not by their own effort but luck, and this is why most Nigerians seems not happy with the performance of the team even though they seem to be doing well at the moment.

More teams in the competition this time around, this is why this is possible for them. There are 24 teams in this competition for the first time, higher than the previous 16. Ivory coast would have packed their bags and taken the bus home by now if it was still just 16 teams with fewer games.

Ivory Coast have no choice than to improve because if the miracle happens for them and they qualify for the Round of 16, they will be meeting Senegal, a team in this competition that is one of the best from the group stages.

Today matches will determine whether they will qualify or not, sacking the coach doesn't have anything to do with their qualifying but their chances are limited because already out of four countries that fall in the best third which are, Guinea with 4 points, Mauritania with 3 points, Ivory coast with 3 points, Ghana with 2 points, this are the four groups that have finished the group stage, now we are waiting for the remaining group E & F then we know the faith of Ivory coast but with this analysis I have hope for them, even their new coach will have a lot to do because if qualify he will Start   with them in round 16, and will want to make a different, but this is a difficult situation because all eyes on him.

This matchup is going to be a mouth-watering clash indeed because the last time these nations(Nigeria and Cameron) faced off was during the 2019 AFCON, where the Super Eagles prevailed 3-2. However, there have also been recent friendly matches where Cameron's team has won by one goal and the other a drawn match. Let's see what both sides have to offer when they play each other soon. Whether they will improve on their mistakes or stick to their current playing style. They're not too much of a great squad and they shouldn't make use of Andrea Onana following how he's had a bad record this season right from Manchester United.

For Nigeria, they don't have good midfielder's to link the attackers and also the defenders. Failing to do that has lead to too much of a boring game seeing Nigeria National Team winning games they should've won with ease but with too much luck.

This has been going for way too long, I get the understanding that summer would be way too hot and all that, but this winter situation really pulls a lot of teams back. It is going to be something that goes until 11th of February, surely only a few teams will remain by then, but players are getting higher risk of injury and playing a lot of games and it is not really nice for the clubs to have this in the middle of the season. It doesn't happen every single year thankfully, but it is not really adjustable for teams.

At this point, Africa needs to realize, teams will start to pay less for players from Africa if this keeps up, which is not smart on their behalf, players may start rejecting to play, because why would a team would pay same money to someone who goes out and plays for their nation 2 months during the season?

Ivory coast were only unfortunate to be out of the Afcon but they didn't started poorly. They were the first in group A to lead by +3 point after winning the Guinea Bissau and then faced Nigeria in their second round and that match could have eneded as draw but their negligence made them to lose because the defender kick Nigeria striker Osimhen which led to penalty. If not for that, Nigeria won't have won that match. The Equatorial Guinea they were hoping to win dismantle and disfigured them with straight 4 goals, I think this match was what upset them and because been host, it's a dishonor to their country.

There are some arguments going on but I'm not sure about it that Ivory coast might still make it to the knockout since 4 teams will be selected from the teams from group stage and since Ivory coast has 3 points, they have might have the chance. So far, we have 2 teams with 3 points and another 2 teams with 4 points, this means that Ivory coast can still make it only if it's going it be 12 + 4 teams that will be going to the knockout stage.

After Eto's open disappointment with the team, they sat up and made qualifications. Maybe Ghana would have still remained in the AFCON if any of the legends from the National side openly expressed their disappointments early enough, and Ivory Coast will not be on the edge depending on the outcome from the other games.
