It’s not a hard decision and it’s not a sentimental one either, I would surely bet on the Super Eagles to win the AFCON. Who else would I be rooting before? On paper, the Super Eagles is one of the strongest teams in the tournament and we should be able to make it to the finals. Our performance in the AFCON will greatly depend on how Super Eagles manager, Augustine Eguaveon ability to make tactical plays and decisions that will enhance the abilities of each player.

Hopefully super eagles will come home with the trophy, I intentionally ask that question to know if I'm wrong about super eagles or not because two weeks ago I saw few persons saying that it will never be possible for the super eagles to win the league, so I thought to myself that does it mean I will have a low chance of wining if I bet for the super eagles for the trophy, so that's why I actually ask to no whether you are also of the same opinion with those people who were saying that, however it has been a very long time since they won the AFCON, so it will mean a lot for the country if they succeed.

Libya should beg. Football is a game of love, fun and create the unity. It is through football, friendship of individuals are created and love each other. And as I said Libya did because of losing and will not qualified for the tournament. It was a transgression of anger. But match would have rescheduled to play in another country or preferably in Nigeria. This might affect them in the international football.

I think begging Nigeria is unnecessary at this point since the Libyan government has been served the deserving punishment based on the rules of the game. Football was less business minded yesteryears and that was how a lot of love and some form of friendship were entered through the sport but it seems the competition has changed dimension.

Honestly, the attitude of the Libyan football federation as a reprisal act was unprofessional and it puts them in bad light as it was expected that the channel their ordeal they claim they faced in Nigeria to CAF which necessary action would have been taken. It's high time the African countries stop this unprofessional behaviors towards themselves in order to make the competition have prestige in international scene and ranked high as other continental games.

Yes, Libya, begging Nigeria, now will be medicine after death, they had their chance to do so when they humiliated our super eagles in their country, but they didn't. CAF has given them their due appropriate punishment, so let them learn from it and try not to repeat the same mistake again. Football should unite rather than bringing conflicts and any team or country that fails to live up to the required standards will collect similar repercussions like Libya, did. I believe that Nigeria, and the football world has moved on from the Nigeria, Libya, matters, so we're moving on to greater glory for our dear super eagles.

But this is one thing that is paramount in football, you don't have to rely on past glories you have to keep improving, because if you don't, the other teams that were once considered as small teams but has been nurturing their talents will overtake you. They have good players in my opinion, for example:

Mohammed Kudus = plays for West Ham, played 8 games for West Ham and scored 2 goals and is 24 years old. He is a very young player

Michael Baidoo = plays for Elfsborg, played 12 games in the Europa League and scored 5 goals and is 25 years old. He is a very young player

Abdul Fatawu = plays for Chelsea and is 20 years old

Ibrahim Sulemana = plays for Atalanta and is 21 years old

Elisha Owusu = plays for Auxerre and is 27 years old

Jordan Ayew = plays for Leicester

I would venture to say that more than 70% of the Ghana players who play for the national team are in good European teams. They may not be in the big teams in Europe like Real Madrid, Barcelona, ​​Manchester City... but they are in good teams in Europe. That's why in my opinion the problem is only with the coach.

The AFCON definitely would be a lot more interesting without Ghana's Black Stars. I think Nigeria felt good after they were eliminated in the group stage the last time because we always want Ghana to lose their match since they never want us to win any games anyway. Ghana has developed some excellent players, and I can confidently state that they are on the same level as the Nigeria Super Eagle's best players. However, I'm wondering to understand why they were unable to defeat any opponents in the AFCON qualifier. Ghana has scored two goals, lost two, and drew three of their last five games.

But in one video I saw online, a Black Stars supporter claimed that Mohammed Kudus's inability to perform better for Ghana was due to the new number 10 shirt he received. I find that funny because I don't understand how a player's jersey number could stop them from participating in a game. The Black stars, in my opinion, are not prepared to represent their country, and I don't think they will have any trouble playing with their best players. In the future ahead AFCON, I hope they return stronger.

That's why in my opinion the problem is only with the coach.

I was also suspecting that the problem was from the coach because Ghana football team (Black Stars) I know can't just left African Cup Nations in the Qualifiers stage. I don't know they were not smart enough to change the coach like what Nigeria football association did. George Alhassan who was a former player of the team said, Ghana Football Association was to be blame the most because they would have not brought Otto Addo in the first place to coach the team because the experience of the coach is not matured enough. And they would changed him after the first two matches.

And as for me it is the poor/wrong instructions of the coach would lead to the poor performance of the players. So all blames should be given to the coach and the GFA and not the players. Because if really there was a good coach in that team, those players you mentioned would have done well to qualify. Though there was a video clip I saw sometimes ago that Otto Addo was shouting at them when they drew the game with Niger Republic. Yet nothing comes out. After that shouting, they still loss out from the AFCON 2025.

Yeah! The first half of actually over in the 2025 CAF African Cup Nations qualifying game between  Nigeria and East African country Rwanda and it finished a goalless first half. I'm watching the live on my screen and from my assessment, I think it's been a boring game from both teams. The only shot on target in the the first half was shot by Kelechi Iheanacho in the dying minutes of the first half.
The second half of about to kick and hopefully, we're going to see goals the second half. I predict a 2:0 scoreline in favor of the Super Eagles of Nigeria

What a beautiful shot from Chukwueze after he dribbled almost all Rwanda defender with an easy  breakthrough all alone and took a shot in the middle of Rwanda four defenders to find the back of the net easily. Chukwueze showed his brilliant finish just like he use to do when playing for Milan. It was an early goal on the 14th minutes of the second half. It's clear that Nigeria will win this match. If you watched the game from the beginning you will understand that the Nigeria Super Eagles did not take the match seriously because they had already qualified that's why you see them being too relaxed when they got the goal in the 59th minute. I was expecting the Nigerian team to have gotten a second goal or better still defended the only goal they managed to score but seeing how careless they became after scoring the goal made me doubt if they were going to get a win in the game and it was not long before the Rwanda team took over the game and scored two beautiful goals in 3 minutes and finally win the game despite not qualifying for the competition.

I agree with you, the super Eagles where totally lazy with the way they approached the game, during the first half they maintained a good possession but we are not able to see the back of the net, although one of the major effect is the reservation that was made as most of the key players where reserved. The super Eagles were able to pick up their pace during the second half after that beautiful goal from chukwueze but there was some laxity as they all relaxed allowing their opponents to equalise the initial 1-0 and even proceeded to make it 2-1 in favour of Rwanda. It was just a messy game for Nigeria, I think they where playing with the mindset that they've already qualified for the AFCON.

This particular game wasn't of much significance to the super eagle and that's why they felt so reluctant as allow the Rwanda team to get their game and score two goals in just a matter of little space in the second half. Well they lost but still very much qualified although the latter would be the happier of the two teams as the win was much needed for them even though it significance isn't much of importance but atleast it has gone down in the history books that the super eagle actually lost to Rwanda on home soil.
