For a little fun while I wait to strike it lucky would anyone else like to share their UNLUCKIEST lotto block wins?

Mine as a starter is...... wait for it..... 0.10000078 Cheesy

The first that can post proof they got a 0.10000002 CLAM reward will win a mystery best loser "jackpot" of 0.89999998 CLAM. Smiley

The only way is to buy them - unless you had a DOGE or LTC wallet at the payout time? The lottery is the payment you get when your coins stake. Usually 0.1CLAM but can be up to 1,000CLAM (or somewhere in-between). Most people have piles (an address or output) with 5 coins to stake. If you have 100 coins, then you have 20 outputs staking, each (when mature) with a chance at earning 0.1 or more CLAMS every second (chance being determined by the staking weight).

On the plus side the price has settled down a little lower now, so a great time to get in Smiley

CLAM on!

0.10000001 is the 2nd most common block reward after 0.1. I have hundreds of them.

Here are my other small rewards:

These are the two 0.10000002 reward transaction IDs:

2725e817
7774ba23

And this is the txid of my only orphaned 0.10000002 block:

I split my CLAMs into separate outputs of 5 CLAM each when I first get them (through mining or on the exchange).

I just counted up all my unspent outputs, and found that the most common size is 2.55 CLAM.

I guess that's because my 5 CLAM outputs get 0.1 CLAMs when they stake, and the total 5.1 gets split into two 2.55 CLAM outputs.

In reducing order of commonness, these are my most common output sizes:

2.55 5.00 2.65 2.85 2.95 2.75

Weird that 2.95 is more common than 2.75.

My biggest output that I dug up myself is now 4.05 - look at him go!

http://khashier.com:2750/address/xNXJrsK1zYEsWwzFXb9SZaG7aEJXmuaa3J

Unfortunately his ugly twin seems to have stagnated at 3.36262905 CLAM.

I have mine mainly in 90 something 5 CLAM bundles but each are sent to an individual address - mine rarely get split up when they stake, although I noticed it did happen recently but looks like they got combined again the next time they staked (or they are both currently staking).

Think this is one of the oldest:

There are weird rules about when they get split and rejoined; an output is split if it stakes twice within 28 hours I think, and then will be rejoined the next time either half stakes. I changed the rules in my client so they never get rejoined, and always get split if they're bigger than 5.

It's in wallet.cpp for any that want to get rid of it. Search for '//split stake'

Code:
if (GetWeight(block.GetBlockTime(), (int64_t)txNew.nTime) < nStakeSplitAge)
                    txNew.vout.push_back(CTxOut(0, scriptPubKeyOut));

nStakeSplitAge = 1 day by default

This will be exposed to the UI next release to suit user preference.
On the other hand, I've seen piles of 2 CLAM stake some very high lotto blocks, so this isn't necessarily a dire thing unless things are splitting into needless amounts.

That is what I thought when I first read the ANN thread, a proof of chain of a proof of chain of a proof of chain of a proof of chain.

That's exactly it. My issue with this code is that when you have super small piles (like 4 CLAM, say, from importing a wallet) they end up splitting into low priority amounts depending purely on luck. I'd like to prevent this for our users and let them gain their weight as intended; and not create excess change that takes forever to stake.

Ok, so it's only 4.05524201 CLAMs more than a standard reward but I'm still hyped Tongue

thats cool, I sent about 300mh there for about a day, zero clams so far Sad

Feel your pain, really do.  There is a bit of coinage sitting on exchange, but by time you figure exchange fees and what-not withdrawing it would mean a massive percentage in fees  Angry

So sitting it remains, for now.

Sorry ;(

I would estimate you got about 3 BTC of hash on that pool before it bit the dust...
It was just too much of a black box... and running ASICs is expensive...
So that's about 4,000 CLAM less expenses that you should pay out.

The ONLY reason to have a multipool is to pump the price...
This is a Zero Sum game... you take cap from other alts... or they take cap from you...
You play to win or you don't play.

It's a miracle that CLAM is still hanging at 70K sat... and viable.

Here's what I think you should do...
Get ClamStake into the thick of the High Stake niche with HYP, HBN, CAP, etc...
That niche is rocking and has quality devs and communities...
You have to increase the float any way you can and re-brand this thing.

 Cool Cool Cool

Forget about the innovative launch... it's irrelevant at this point.
