what are you running in those boxes?

5830s & 5870s, 2 pieces per box

Why only 2 cards for one case?

I have always 3 5970 in one 19" case.

Really like you guys who use a server rack, very clean!

tkx Smiley

From one rack guy to another, very nice but with the cards and from what I can see how do you keep the temps down?  I had to pull the cover on my CPU to get enough air in there to cool that bad boy down.

because i have enough space, and i want to let the cards enough room to breath Smiley

i have AC on that room, all my GPUs run around 62-63 degrees celcius with fans below 50% rpm. top cover is indeed off mainly for my confort

Hi  Grin

Left Side: (just realized I never chopped off the 80 zip ties on that one computer fan trying to get it to sit just right!)

Right Side:

Front:

Guard dog: This is actually his favorite room in the house. I have to bribe him to come hang out with me! Grin

Stats:
GPUs: 9 5970s, 7 5870s, and 2 5770s
2Gb RAM / AMD Sempron / BAMT (Pentium 2 and Winblows on the desktop miner)
Sliced fingers: 2 (computer fans can act as a good finger shortener, be careful~!)
Everything is running at 240v through a 30 amp dryer circuit
Stock clock speeds = ~8700 Mh

Just how many of these rigs are Photoshopped?  I figure BTC would be a lot more progressed if all of these rigs were dedicated to BTC only.  I'm sure people do a lot of other stuff like gaming (mainly hosting servers and whatnot) with all of this power.

Ummm, I can't speak for everyone else, but no Photoshop here. Just camera-> Paint to reduce the size -> Photobucket.

I guess my dog does look a little funny, but he was scratching himself at the moment lol.

What do you mean "more progressed"? Are you calling my setup primitive?? Lol, just kidding... it is a little rough around the edges I know, but I am too lazy to fix it up and make it look nice. It runs fine and that's all that matters to me!

Its 2.2bls/1kg ..heh... This made lapping it almost effortless.

I don't mind having to find a way to make room. Smiley The freakishly low temps I'm getting are probably a good part of the reason why I can do 1275/750 on stock volts.

I also replace stock coolers with Artic Twin Turbo II coolers. Damn silent.. 100% fans and 48-52 temps on heavily overclocked 5870's.

Nice rig, I like it what you have done!

Ty sir.

Those pictures don't tell the true tell of all the blood sweat and tears that went into that thing.

My fingers hurt sooo bad from plugging and unplugging so many components over and over.

Artic cooling coolers are very good in terms of silence and efficiency.
I just could not get work normaly HD 7970 with accelero HD 7970. It just could not cool vrms good enough. The core temps was exelent, but vrms was 100 degrees and more.

I think it was at 40-50 mhash/s for the few minutes I ran it.

This config didn't last long b/c I didn't like seeing the 7870's vrms at 67-72c when mining/gaming. Now that I have a much cooler running mobo, I will try it again and this time work an extra 120mm or two into the equation. xD

~70C for VRM temps are actually pretty good! Why would you complain about that?
