1161  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: January 03, 2023, 10:51:20 AM

Yeah, another one for the books this season, when they thought that they have won the game, Mitchell find his zone and they closely chirp that lead and he was short of just 2 rebounds to make it a triple double and bested what Luka did.

This season is a whole bunch of surprises causes these young lads are doing great even when they've not yet reached the championship games. After all, it's all about the team and I think this is the new trend nowadays hopefully we see someone breaking those records in this same season as well. They are focusing on one single player and looks like it works very well nowadays Luka is proving it right where he scored 40+ points in his past few games this season. rather than making some incredible stats for every single player in the starting lineups, everyone focuses to give their star player the assists he deserves.

Mitchell had 71 points, that's extraordinary, he was like the Kobe Bryant of the LA Lakers during Kobe's prime years. We will surely remember that, he has become more comfortable playing with the Cavaliers and just like the Warriors, they are good in defending their home.

It was the first time I saw him produce that huge number of points. I know Mitchell is good but he does not produce like Luka, so this one is really special for him and most especially for the fans. He had his own version of Luka, intentionally miss the FT, and shoot the ball to bring the game to OT. Imagine, at some point they were down 20 points, and slowly they come back to beat the Bulls.

Hope that both teams will show 100% energy tomorrow and we should expect a close game throughout Game 3.

They will because this is game 3 and it's a very important game for them.

The line now is already available at stake.
https://stake.com/sports/basketball/philippines/pba-commissioner-cup/43221241-barangay-ginebra-bay-area-dragons

Ginebra is still a slight favorite with 2.04 ML and +2.5 on the spread.
1163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: January 02, 2023, 08:57:37 AM
Everyone was expecting Giannis to play, but he didn't play last night. That's why they lost the game and everyone's bet lost.
If I had known, I wouldn't have played.
Only my Memphis bet won.
Sometimes it's nice to put our bet during game time, this kind of bad news is inevitable, so that will make our bet useless as we will likely lose. On the other hand, it could also be on our favor if the star player of the opposing team will not play, so it's just a gamble, but if you don't wanna gamble like this, better wait until game time.
1164  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Die or Pump Up in 2023? on: December 30, 2022, 11:02:47 AM
Again, Bitcoin and dying in one sentence doesn't make sense, it's too big to fall at this point.

This is just another bear market for us, I know everyone is not comfortable, but I guess as we go along in this cycle, we will understand that this Bitcoin's natural path. So next year, maybe it could be worst, but don't be afraid and say that it's the end of it.
Fear and Uncertainties keep influencing the mind of many people who just come during the bear season but for us who have experience in the past bear season, we could say it was not totally the worse case that happen in the market. Indeed, it was natural, and whether we like it or not, prices will fall into such a trend usually after the bull season which we experience last 2021. Yet, we can't expect this will end next year but probably it will extend. 2023 will still not be a great year but I hope we can see some changes in its demand as it will affect the market price.
1165  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: December 30, 2022, 07:57:40 AM
Yes you are right that mate 7 foot tall guy in Bay Area is a nightmare of barangay ginebra as we all know that if they go to a man to man defense they can not handle the center of bay are all they need here is make a good team work if barangay ginebra will go for defenses a tight defense will be recommended. And in terms of offense all they need this that make the ball faster in rotate so that they can find their open teammates and fire for the free points.

They are not using him so much because Ginebra can easily make an adjustment and they love to run. This big man will make the play of the Bay Area slow and that will be taken advantage of the Ginebra especially on the fast break. He maybe so dominant in the center but with Ginebra good strategy on denying him the ball, he cannot be effective.

Yeah, he was barely used in this series, even against the SMB, JMF can still find a way to make points even guarded by a 7'5 defender. That's a big disadvantage of tall player because they don't run fast and they don't have a good shooting stroke outside. I guess even without him, Bay Area were still able to manage in defeating the Ginebra, but let's see what will happen in game 3.
1166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 30, 2022, 07:29:44 AM
How about the Nets winning 10 straight. That seemed like a pipe dream a few weeks ago. It seems like they’re starting to get it figured out....
Yes impressive streak after all the drama and toxicity around the team. It's probably the result of players being happy with their current system. I guess credit must be given to head coach Vaughn as well.

The Nets have been really impressive lately, and it looks like the new head coach is doing well, but I'm still skeptical about this team. The problem is that no one knows what will come to Irving's mind in the future. Don't get me wrong, Irving performs well at the moment, and he's a significant contributor to the Nets' wins. However, we should keep in mind that he did some irresponsible things before, and there is no guarantee he won't let his team down again.
Unless you're a fan of the Nets, any letdown that happens shouldn't bother you. I think it's a positive thing to see the team performing so well. Ben Simmons is a surprise lately as well. Noone even knew if he was ever gonna play for the Nets. Averaging over 8 points a game with 6 rebounds and 6 assists, not too shabby honestly. Not much more needs added for him to be averaging a triple double nightly.

Nets are a shocker in the NBA currently.

Actually, that's because of their bad performance last playoffs and the drama that Simmons had created in the 76ers. But now, look at them, they had already adjusted and had develop a good chemistry, so most probably that will carry on until the playoffs which makes this team a championship contender again.
1167  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The patience to hold is a gift on: December 29, 2022, 09:56:04 PM
It's not something that can make us a millionaire overnight but it can take years or even decades because the adoption is not at its highest yet. Until now there are still lots of countries or people who are not yet on them but they will soon discover and get involved with it. It might be true that patience is a gift but if you are not blessed to be given by it then it is still/also possible to learn it.
In reality, the majority are impatient people. In fact, we can take a picture of our family and you will see that many are rushing to reach their goal.
This behavior can't be inherent to others but it can be influenced by a person who has a deep understanding of success. Because reaching our goal needs patience and ample time plus hard work. That is not to wonder why many people lose their hopes and fail because they are not doing the thing they are supposed to do (patience) as they likely it happen instant.
1168  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: As a newbie I stay off shitcoin and it paid off, Bitcoin is the king. on: December 29, 2022, 01:48:41 PM
...Investing in bitcoin have no risk as far as I am concerned because of the trust I have for Bitcoin, and I am taking this bear market as the right time to place my investment, because its a perfect time for me.

It all depends on the price at which you bought Bitcoin. And if you bought bitcoin for 69 thousand dollars, then you would not say that investing in BTC is not risky, since your deposit in dollar terms would decrease by more than 4 times. So all investments in cryptocurrency involve risk, including bitcoin.
Maybe he considers himself a long-term investor and even buying $69k is still okay for he believes that the price of Bitcoin will soon rise and be bullish again. Such a kind of mindset is really encouraging but for us as casual investors who are thinking about making a profit every day, risk will certainly come into our mind, and even be worried about the situation.
Anyways, rich people don't mind if it was risky as they just want to invest and make a way to earn a profit.
1169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: December 29, 2022, 12:39:15 PM
My picks for tonight.

Atlanta Hawks vs Brooklyn Nets (-1.5) = First Quarter Win 1.77 Odds.

Atlanta Hawks vs Brooklyn Nets (-5.5) = Brooklyn Nets Win 1.72 Odds.

Chicago Bulls vs Milwaukee Bucks = Milwaukee Bucks Win 1.72 Odds.

Good luck guys.

Congratulations for knocking down those 1st two bets. Brooklyn Nets won again and that makes their 10th winstreak this season, it was a close game at first but the Hawks didn't had it their way as the gap became bigger, they tried to rally in the 4th quarter but the Nets didn't let it happen.

About your 3rd bet, seems you'll be having a perfect bet. Bucks seems to have a good run against the Bulls. Congrats again!

I was thinking that Bucks will win because they have a very comfortable lead already, unfortunately, they allow the Bulls to have their run and the game went to OT. In the OT, the home team played better and they beat the Bucks, I also lose my bet because we are on the same side.

Also, I had my bet on the Nuggets, I was happy after the 1st half because they have a very good lead, but in the 4th quarter, they were not able to stop the huge run of the home team. It's a very disappointing loss.
1170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: December 29, 2022, 12:02:58 PM
Nothing unusual. As I expected, the Dragons won that Game 2 with a double-digit advantage as well like in Game 1.

If you've watched PBA Finals for many times, you might know already that this is "always" the scenario. One team will win and then the opposing team will win on the next game. That's why I didn't surprised when the Dragons won because it's kinda like a pattern just to hype the fans coming into the next game.
I guess the bettors will now be betting on the Dragons in game 3. This is our league, so ref should do something to give Ginebra a favor, it will be easy to manipulate the series to reach in game 7 because both teams are good, so at the same time, the league will also earn a lot of money.

Don't like to see a game where a big lead always happened. I want to see several exchanges of lead, especially in the last quarter where everyone watching will be put on silent mode as no chance of seeing who will win at the end.
Not in the first games of the series.
I expect this kind of game to happen on around Games 4-6 or 7 if it will go to 7 games. TBH, Ginebra is trying to cut the lead, but the problem is that their offense is almost non-existent. Only 2 players got in double digits against 4 on the Dragons. They will be going back to the drawing boards and find an adjustment to their mistakes.

It's already tied so I guess the excitement is back again.

I'm hoping that we will have an exciting game 3, a close game would be fun to watch, and with that, the advantage will be on the Ginebra because of the points handicap they have.
1171  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC Price Drop - How are Bitcoin Long-Term Holders Responding? on: December 28, 2022, 12:06:03 PM
Honestly, we have nothing to do about it nor have a way to stop it. It declines that no one would be blamed as the market is designed to have up and down. As a long-term holder, I didn't bother to see the market all the time as it was necessary. My mind is already programmed to sell my Bitcoin during the bull season so I have to wait for it until then.

Actually, panic will only come when we are too emotional and uncertain of what we do. Trust is really important in investing in crypto not only in Bitcoin but also in altcoins.
1172  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 28, 2022, 09:37:28 AM
~snip~

Tired as hell and needs a recovery beer, that's what he said in the post game interview. Just wow! The game, the performance, and those hail mary threes they made down the stretch when they're down by 3 possessions. Whoever was watching this game, you guys just witnessed history.
Luka is indeed got some magic in his hands. How could he possibly sink that last second deliberate missed free throw and the follow up? Lol, it was like the play was designed for him to put the game in OT.
60/21/10 a tough act to follow especially for a PG. A center or a PF may beat this, but then again, it will never be easy.

Yeah, just one hell of a performance from Luka in this game, those 3 they made really put the dagger on the hearts of the Knicks. But it was all Luka, so what can we say, the numbers he put was one for the ages and we don't know if somewhat can a beat it this season although we have seen 50 point performance already, but this performance is very special and yeah this is history and put his name on the MVP discussions again. Dinwiddie and Christian Wood did a good job on helping Luka score too.

It was  a great win by the Dallas, they are supposed to lose the game but Luka's concentration on that last shot was just insane. The crowd was also a big factor on that win, cheering for Luka and the team inspired them even on a game that is already impossible to win. IIRC, less than a minute and the Knicks are up 9 points and yet Dallas did not give up.
1173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: December 28, 2022, 08:53:29 AM
Looks like they will not change import in the game later.

As seen in this video, https://www.facebook.com/pbaofficial/videos/1136821820341636/
Nicholson is in short, meaning he will be playing the game.

So I guess let's take the Ginebra ML, that 2.44 should be nice.
1174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Are You Preparing For 2023? on: December 28, 2022, 05:48:58 AM
I already bought some ETH and mix altcoins in the past few days, that was enough for now.
I think I have nothing to do more in the coming days other than just hold and wait for another huge drop if there is and make a decision to buy more. It was not really clear to us what will happen the next year 2023, it is a mixed opinion as I've read online coming from self-proclaimed experts. I actually don't want to believe that next year there is a huge breakthrough but, of course, I was also optimistic about the price surge and hoping for a slow recovery, at least.
1175  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 27, 2022, 01:10:30 PM

LeBron James is the oldest player to record 3 consecutive games with 30+ points since Michael Jordan (2002).

Okay I get it, but isn't that so significant? Actually, fans would appreciate or notice it if the Lakers are winning. Nowadays, it's easy to drop 30+ points compared in the past, and since Lebron's team are struggling, so that's what people sees more, not his personal achievement on stats.
1176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about these hyped projects for 2023? on: December 27, 2022, 12:27:38 PM

1. The obvious ones which are almost always hyped: BTC, ETH, BNB, Doge, Matic and ADA. We all know about them, so let's focus mostly on the others.
2. Polkadot (DOT)
3. ApeCoin (APE)
4. Dash 2 Trade (D2T): This one's not still in exchanges, but supposedly it's a strong crypto platform, and hyped.
5. The Graph (GRT)
6. NEAR Protocol (NEAR)
7. Decentraland (MANA)

So which one of them do you think will perform better in future? If you have any opinion for (or against) anyone of those, I'll be glad to hear it. Smiley
NEAR and MANA are getting active now, many speculations arise that these projects will show interesting growth once the market recovers. If we do research on the internet, all we can see is always positive. Though we have no clue among these hyped coins to survive the huge drop, may choosing any of them is very risky. But I don't think it was a wrong idea of putting a few bucks into any of them as long as you can accept losses. So, its up to us to take the risk or just choose Bitcoin.
1177  Economy / Speculation / Re: Could this be the bottom of Bitcoin? on: December 27, 2022, 11:58:51 AM
The current price of Bitcoin is hovering around $18000. Just pumped a bit today. Bitcoin price has been using $1700 as support for the past few days.
Could the price of Bitcoin fall further?
What do you think about this?
the bottom price will likely still occur later in 2023 when the recession continues. but we all can't predict at what price bitcoin will drop in price for a deeper or only a few %.
some people are too busy thinking and predicting bitcoin prices without starting to buy little by little for fear of a bottom price. if we are aware from today including a lower price compared to the previous ATH price and our opportunity to buy and collect for the long term waiting for the bulls to arrive.
I'm not suggesting or forcing anyone to buy now, but it's better to start now than never and be late to the ATH party
Long-term investors are seldom to make predictions but just rather wait for the right time to sell their Bitcoin. We can't expect this bear season will end up to fast, and the bottom price may come unexpectedly but I think, we don't need to bother and stress ourselves waiting for that. Because the more we think about it the more our emotions got influenced. But I think 2023 is somewhat of a good year in crypto, recoveries may be started, and ready for the halving.
1178  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should your wife or husband know your seed phrase? on: December 26, 2022, 10:54:23 PM
Well, it’s everyone’s choice either to entrust their seed phrase to their husband or wife, or they have to deal it on their own for more security purposes. But either way, security is not assured if one is to act careless and is not responsible of keeping safe his seed phrase. The reason why keeping a seed phrase needs a responsible owner, one that will not expose it nor share it to his love ones, but keep it completely on his own self alone.
I do also have that kind of mindset on which it is much more better if im the one who do keep those privatekeys for the best rather than on letting my wife do know about it and store for herself and i cant really just

make myself that confident nor getting relaxed on this situation which i do know that there are possibilities or probabilities of getting hacked due to improper handling out of those PK's.
Im not making myself that too selfish or hiding up  some secrets but it would really be better this way. They are still the ones who do benefit out
with these things or crypto savings since from the start.
It is also important to consider the risk of telling our husband/wife if they really can be trusted and can manage to keep it secrete as we don't want to compromise the security of our funds. Because a single mistake can never be back again.
Maybe the best thing to do first is to educate them and gives some overview about the risk of losing our keys and passwords. We should emphasize to them how important it was otherwise, both of us will suffer the consequences. If we can see that our partner fully understands about it, I guess that was the perfect time to tell and show him/her all the credentials we have.
1179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 26, 2022, 12:21:52 PM

Ja Morant though, now becoming so brandish, but as you can see, they haven't proven anything yet and now he says in an interview that he is "fine" in the West, LMAO. They shouldn't talk trash when they can't back it up specially against the depending champion.
He is good because of his athleticism but he does not have the championship DNA like Curry and Thompson. He is still young though, there's plenty of time for him to prove that he should belong to the greatest players in the NBA once he retires, and until that time will happen, maybe he should not take too much, instead, do it in action and help improve his team, not himself alone.

Klay reserving one of his best game for Christmas against Memphis, hehehe.
Yes, because these two have a rivalry, they had a decent playoff series last season, maybe if Morant wasn't injured, the outcome could be different.
1180  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Please Suggest Some Free Crypto Trading Signals on: December 23, 2022, 12:44:49 PM
Perhaps, crypto signals had come free at first but later on, they will collect some money in exchange for their (fake) signals.

I'm not sure if you are here just to spread that website OP, I hope you will not cause you will just fail to get our trust. If I were, stop looking for trading signals but instead, continue mining and enjoy it or/ do trading by having your own signals and analysis. In fact, you are right many people give their crypto signals and they all are wrong. You can never expect something will change as it even go worse now.
