I'd like that you can continue with gigamining and teramining.

Thanks for all the extra work you are doing.

+1 & to the other helpful comments, I've logged in to GLBSE site & registered my email address, bitcoin address & checked the box for requesting that the list of my assets are shared with the issuers of these assets.

On the other hand, to look at both or more than just one side of things &/or to look at things from not just the conventionally accepted way,  to challenge the status quo & offer alternatives viewpoints.

Try betting it on BitLotto's pirate pool if you like, it's 0.1 btc min bet so I sent you 0.0905 to give you enough & for miner's fee, you're 10 times richer already, have fun Wink
2205  Economy / Gambling / Re: [BITLOTTO] Oct draw over! Next draw Nov 2! on: October 10, 2012, 07:03:22 PM
Nope it gets sent to the winning address regardless of any contact from anyone, it usually takes a few days which I assume is due to triple checking of results - waiting for any objections to them that may arise & then negotiating the secure offline storage under the permafrost guarded by auto-bot turret guns & labyrinthine ways for any potential intruders to meet their virtual doom, also he just seems to kind of send it out whenever he gets around to it but it does always get sent np, most that I've waited has been under one week if I recall correctly.

Edit: Aug draw was on 3rd & received winnings the 9th

June was the 1st & paid on the 4th

There was another repayment just now.

Am I doing anyone a favor by posting these? I can see them myself just fine in the block chain so if no-one needs it I'll stop reporting them here.

Mine go to my blockchain.info wallet so it lets me know, if it's just this same daily miniscule % trickling in then I doubt anyone needs it posted, if hk is serious about paying us back & obtains enough coins to make more than token bit cents on the thousands of $ payments he owes then that would be news.

20 BTC sent, jackpot for Nov including pools is 22.5 BTC atm > $270 Smiley
I have to ask, and you can ignore me or tell me it isn't my business.  But how do you afford to gamble so much?

I started in March & April with about 3 btc total bet & lost, then in May I decided I wanted to show support for BitLotto & bet a lot with about a 1 in 4 chance of winning but did so, these were coins that I'd bought in Nov, Dec 2011. After that I've been in credit effectively with my BL bets so it hasn't been an expense for me.

May bet 112 btc, won 387 btc, balance 272 btc
June bet 111 btc, won 20% share of pool 97 btc, balance 258 btc
July bet 24 btc, lost 24 btc, balance 234 btc
Aug bet 121 btc, won 270 btc, balance 383 btc
Sept bet 10 btc, lost 10 btc, balance 373 btc
Oct bet 14 btc so far...

Additionally I bet 6 btc per month on behalf of a charity fund I've set up, so far that's cost me 33 btc lost on BL.

So the only real high risk extravagance was the May bet of $555 att which was money that I'd already made from other activities, I also planned to switch most of my gambling on National/State high rack rate lotteries to BitLotto which I've done & that's saved me at least the $555 initial stake over the last 5 to 6 months .

Has anyone asked Patrick if he got ID from this loser/s, I thought that was part of his vetting/rating process & if so I expect that he would have got at least passport, driver's license & home utility bill with address & to have done a Skype video call confirmation, all of which he should release now that there's serious default & no communication.

Congrats to the BurtW pool!

My apologies bitlotto, I didn't mean to suggest that you would ever risk the lotto funds - was just voicing what may go through ppls heads atm if you're away for too long at draw time, nice to still have some honest BTC businesses around, hope the jackpot soon gets back to 100 plus coins again, I'll bet 20 or so tomorrow to help kick-start the pot.

Wow that got solved in just a very few minutes, many thanks to the solver & I like the random rest of the address too, just getting it in to the blockchain now...

Great concept & service!

lol - let's hope it's goat then Wink

SG many thanks Smiley if it's one of the pools though that won then there could be more who might want to worry about this AWOL at draw date.
2214  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Vanity Pool - vanity address generator pool on: October 07, 2012, 02:36:40 PM
Thanks again, yep I did see the generated public key on your site - I just imported the private key to my wallet for safe keeping. I have now successfully requested a vanity address & had confirmation, I offered 0.5 BTC for 6 letters after the 1, if this turns out to not be sufficient or if I just wish to add more then can I send the extra to the same bounty address & it will be automatically added & updated? I also now understand the 2 methods of retrieving the vanity address & I would like to contribute 1 BTC when you set up a bounty for an offline tool to be used for split-key vanity address operations, please to send me an address when you set the bounty up & I expect others may wish to contribute also as it then guarantees that the whole process from start to finish is secure.

Edit: Also when requesting other VAs can one use the same public key or is it best to use a different one each time? As my first one is a gift I shall use a different PUB next time anyway but if there are a few just for me then is that OK to re-use?

I just received a payment half the size of the previous one.

Same here Sad not that it makes much difference for these amounts being sent atm, I gave 20 times what I've had back so far in food to a homeless person yesterday.

But at least if he's doing what I'm having to do, sell assets for fiat & borrow fiat, then he can get more coins with the proceeds as the price falls.
2216  Economy / Gambling / Re: [BITLOTTO] Sept 7 draw over! Next draw Oct 5! on: October 07, 2012, 01:55:16 PM
I seem to recall that bitlotto said he'd set up a dead man's switch for this, more likely tech or weather problems I'd guess & at least it worked well on the 7th of September three weeks after the pirate ship sunk so he hadn't been passing the funds through before the draw or lending them to any of the other guaranteed/insured jokers it seems at least & I can't see any reason that he'd have them deposited on GLBSE, more like in offline cold storage I'd imagine from his posts in this thread.
2217  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Vanity Pool - vanity address generator pool on: October 07, 2012, 12:45:07 PM
Thank you, that's very helpful, I have used your site to generate an ECDSA keypair & imported the private key to my Blockchain.info wallet & also have seen how to find the public keys for my addresses with Blockchainexplorer which is very useful for this, I have requested a vanity address correctly now - at least I hope so as it didn't confirm when I pressed send but just went back to the main page after, I guess the bounty address is sent by email & does one need to put the leading 1 in the desired pattern box or is it just added automatically when the Network prefix byte box is left at 0?

The first address I'm requesting is a gift for someone & as I will need to use your https://gobittest.appspot.com/VanitySum to retrieve it how safe is this? I guess here one has to trust your site with the private keys. Btw to generate the keypair it's https://gobittest.appspot.com/Address then press random rather than the VanityMult link I believe.

Thanks for this service, looking forward to doing more after this first test one.
2218  Economy / Gambling / Re: [BITLOTTO] Sept 7 draw over! Next draw Oct 5! on: October 06, 2012, 02:31:33 PM

So what's up with the Oct 5th  draw?

People losing interest here it seems.

Probably killed by satoshidice

The jackpot was around the same as last month's I believe, about 75 BTC, nearly $1,000 - not a bad pot at all, with all the recent losses in many other parts of the Bitcoinosphere I expect ppl have cut back somewhat on their gambling - I know I have, maybe it will hold steady around this level for a while or slowly grow, but once over 100 coins again then there will be more interest especially if the BTC price stays healthy & so it would likely grow faster then I'd guess.
2219  Economy / Speculation / Re: wow, bitcoin's astro birth chart is full on! on: October 06, 2012, 01:37:55 PM
The week ahead in general

Saturn now returns to a sector of the sky that it has not occupied since the early 1980s. Jupiter, meanwhile, begins a retrograde phase. That speaks of people, all over the world, reconsidering their limits, boundaries and restrictions. It implies the need for a review of personal ethics and moral principles. It also suggests that wherever there's lately been a lack of integrity, there's now a chance to introduce adjustments that involve greater honesty and allow for making amends for previous injustices. This is likely to be a slow process. But many profound personal journeys begin this week.

Bitcoin's horoscopes for Saturday October 06, 2012

Today don't let discouragement get you down if you feel cold-shouldered in team efforts. Only by facing up to difficulties can you hope to establish better relationships out in the world. The people you choose as friends now may be older or more career oriented. At times you won't be happy with their rather critical advice, but it is solidly based and well meant. They are prompting you to be more serious about your long-term plans.

But not forgetting that:

While you appreciate those who base their decisions on far flung dreams, as an earth sign, you focus on realistic goals and on taking whatever steps you must to achieve them. Still, with your ruler Saturn newly positioned and brilliantly aspecting the visionary Neptune, even you might dare to embrace distant dreams.

Bitcoin's horoscope for the week ahead, October 06, 2012

This is the week you've been waiting for. For how long? Well, for at least two and a half years and, arguably, for the whole of your life so far. This is the bit where what's been bad starts to get good again. This is the bit where what's been seemingly hopeless starts to well up with fresh, positive possibility. This is the bit where Saturn moves on into a new sign, taking away that sense of constantly needing to cope with a challenge and introducing a series of real reasons to feel as if life, from now on, can be easier.

Bitcoin's stars for the week beginning 07 October 2012

Because your ruling planet, Saturn, changes signs only rarely, last Friday`s move to accent new ventures and those with whom you`d be pursuing them begins an entirely new cycle. While some of what`s coming will be immediately clear, other developments will take time to surface. Knowing that, for now, focus on disentangling yourself from arrangements that are swiftly becoming part of the past, thereby freeing yourself for what`s next.

Bitcoin's horoscopes for Tuesday October 09, 2012

When I was a naughty little boy, I'd keep a constant eye out for empty escalators. Whenever my parents took me to a shopping centre or a station, I'd race off to see if by running as fast as possible, I could get all the way down the one that was going up... or up the one that was going down. It was good (if dangerous) fun. But even I wouldn't have wanted to face such a challenge permanently. Of late, your experience of life has been most frustrating. But now the path beneath your feet is starting to take you just where you want to go.

What plans have you made to carry this forward now that GLBSE appears to be closed for good according to Theymos & have you contacted Nefario as yet to get a list of asset holders?
