2361  Economy / Securities / Re: Would anyone be interested in a gold fund? on: August 11, 2012, 06:30:51 PM
Between 2007 & 2011 I used www.bullionvault.com & found them to be excellent in every respect, I believe in Bitcoin but to put two random extra parties between me & the physical PM (yourself & GLBSE) doesn't make much sense, on BV there is instant liquidity for physical gold & much more trust, but I wish you well, for a few grams or ounces of physical I'd advise anyone to just look after that themselves or for kilos then go the BV route.
2362  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Defcon Kids - Need donations QUICK on: August 09, 2012, 08:30:46 PM
I wish I'd seen this earlier.  If you do something like this again (bitcoin outreach) please PM me so I can send a few coins.

& if you wish to wish upon a falling star for a rally then the annual Perseids meteor showers have just began, 9th to 14th Aug, peaking on the 12th - 13th (or 13th - 14th check your time zone) with about 1 per min or more Tongue http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Perseids

Best viewing at the pre-dawn hours, so stay up & party weekend Grin

We've been having some nice but confusing Venus trine Neptune rally/goxery today Wink
2364  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Intersango Exchange on: August 09, 2012, 06:32:53 PM
I've heard that Intersango GBP bank withdrawals are going through OK now, though their support page still says that there's several days backlog, so lets see if this one that I just requested gets processed & sent tomorrow:

#35727
UKWithdrawalRequest
requested
it's for between 500 & 1,000 GBP

Edit 1: just checked on the status a few hours later & it is already marked as sent, which is very fast as this is outside of office hours (it's 4.30 AM atm), looking good - will add an update in about 12 hrs time...

Edit 2: It has cleared in to my account sometime over the last 15 hours, so a very fast early next day service - congrats team Intersango!
I see their support page has also been updated to 'payments sent daily' so nice, I'm sending them some more coins, thanks guys!

2367  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: imsaguy's Enormously Interesting Extended Investment Opportunity on: August 07, 2012, 05:57:24 PM
As Imsa had previously stated he was winding down the older loans from his original plan A, I had invested 250 BTC in Feb & to date have accrued 150 BTC in interest, a further 24 BTC was just added in interest up to the 19th August, plus a doubling bonus of the same final interest amount of another 24 BTC, plus a second bonus which is incredibly generous imo & I don't even know what it's for of a further 27 BTC to make in total 475 BTC paid to me today. Tongue

In Feb the 250 BTC I gave to Imsa were worth $1,400
Today, 6 months later, Imsa gave me 475 BTC worth $5,150 +

Looks like Imsa needs to go back to ponzi pre-school remedial classes  Wink

Thank you very much Imsa, I very much look forward to investing with you in the future Smiley
2368  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: ★ VESCUDERO's Guaranteed Weekly Term deposit at 1.5% ★ on: August 07, 2012, 05:29:35 PM
I can confirm that I was present at the Spanish Bitcoin meet up in Madrid which was very well attended & a great success, Vescudero, Victor Escudero, looks just like his photo if not even more so in real life & I am totally confident with his looking after my funds, if he was accepting larger deposits atm then I would double up np.

Here's a link to the photo of just a few of our Bitcoin-ES members who attended (http://bit.ly/1BtcPES), there were many more at the actual meeting and another link to the article in Spanish in the Yorokobu magazine by our loved friend and journalist Marcus Hurst (http://bit.ly/BPArticle).

Otoh !!!

With the luck you are having I would play the megamillions next month ! :-P

Congrats !!!

Hey cool, I was afk for 1 week at the first Spanish Bitcoin meet up in Madrid, left at $9, back at $11ish = nice & a BitLotto surprise of + 270 BTC = very nice indeed, paid for my visit & that to Calif this Fall as well, so very many thanks to all who entered - if I scoop the Euro millions lotto which is > $200M atm then I'll split a $M worth of coins amongst all previous posters in this thread to celebrate though I'm not sure if my Euro millions karma is as good as my BitLotto's seems to be atm.

Anyway to help keep the BL jackpot healthy I shall continue to bet at least 101 BTC per month, this last month I bet 121 BTC in total + 6 BTC that I bet for a charity, I should quit whilst I'm ahead but will continue to bet that same amount per month as long as pirate's scheme continues & will do so in the final week of the lotto as that's quite a bit of interest to miss out on otherwise, so if OP wishes to add that the jackpot will be at least 150 BTC guaranteed each month that would be fine.

PS - not seeing anything new in my wallet when I returned I had assumed that I'd lost so it really was a shock - I thought that I was reading a previous month's posts or something this morning.

2370  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: Mybitcointrade.com | High Interest 2.5%/w guaranteed| 20%/m Bonds |Since 07/2011 on: August 01, 2012, 12:14:19 AM
Many thanks to Smart for today's interest & funds returned from a 60 day loan @ 1.975% per week, 250 BTC @ $5.40 = $1,351 in & 292.80 BTC @ $9.30 = $2,723 out, a nice 100% + return in under 2 months  Tongue

I believe that I documented my loans to Smart in full a month or 2 back on this thread Smiley
2371  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: CIUCIU'S Guaranteed Weekly Term Deposits at 1.5% [AVAILABILITY: 850 btc] on: July 30, 2012, 11:36:16 PM
Cool, I'm ready to deposit to your 1.5% PW fund now, can I use the last deposit address you gave me & treat it as a permanent one?

19k4q2jXG69pi7jAVqXfVhi4xLHhFAcG89

I'd like to send you 666.66666666 BTC if there's still that availability or 667 if you prefer whole numbers, it's aiming for a 10 BTC PW interest rather than any voodoo btw, if you'd prefer less to allow others more availability that's fine by me too, say 500 or so, or what ever works best for you atm.

My previous PM'd instructions for not allowing any change of email address or payout/interest address except an unforeseeable exceptional case when confirmed by Skype etc interrogation as has been pre-arranged with you still stand, ty.
2372  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: CIUCIU'S Guaranteed Weekly Term Deposits at 1.5% [AVAILABILITY: 850 btc] on: July 30, 2012, 10:51:01 PM
It was also very reassuring that those 2% investor's funds were returned before today's pirate interest payouts have landed, I do though have one request/suggestion if you moved the interest payouts to say Sunday it would help to give some of that reassurance on an ongoing basis.
2373  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: CIUCIU'S Guaranteed Weekly Term Deposits at 1.5% on: July 30, 2012, 08:41:48 PM
Are you serious, ciuciu? sending everything back?

Not everything, just the 2% deposits.

Thanks.

Received back my 300 BTC initial deposit plus this week's 6 BTC interest payment, I was kinda wondering where that all flew in from but tracked it down now, many thanks for these last faultless 3 weeks of investment, I shall most likely deposit again soon at your 1.5% rates & maybe more funds this time Tongue Many thanks!

Lol I'm saving also those recomendations for the next time I travel to Madrid.

I'll try & persuade them to accept BTC by then Wink

I'm staying in La Latina from 1 - 6 Aug, for anyone else who is visiting Madrid & staying centrally then here's some recommendations for food etc that a friend from Lavapiés just sent me that you may like to check out, btw I still don't know where the actual meet up is going to be on Saturday, just the time, so where's that posted pse or should I PM Vescudero about it? Oh & many thanks for today's interest V  Tongue much appreciated, that's few nice meals out covered.

Camilo.

Bitcoin's horoscope for the week of July 23, 2012 - yep a bit late I know

Hugely resourceful at the moment, you are able to stand rock solid at work when everyone else is flapping. You want to be around other people and help to give them a little bit of a morale boost. This week you will want to be concentrating on confidential matters, both financial and emotional. With Uranus emphasised now it will be a very inspired kind of time. There could be money coming your way, brilliant new ideas flashing into your mind.

Bitcoin's monthly horoscope for August, 2012

August brings a reassuring development. Things are moving in the right direction at last and they are going to keep on moving until they get you just where you need to be.

You will be working hard, pushing your ambitions ahead though you'll need to expect one glitch mid month when Saturn collides with Mars. Pause, grit your teeth, backtrack if necessary to unpick mistakes and then move ahead. In the final week you'll feel more enthusiastic with energetic friends around to give you support.

Mercury ends it's retrograde phase which is good for things that have seemed stuck & the arrival of Venus in Cancer will ensure a lighter mood in general all round.

Hi Ves,

I tried to check out your facebook but there are no posts? ( maybe i am missing something ).

Also I hope Im not over stepping the mark, but can you link to any other photos of yourself.

There's a meet up of the Spanish Bitcoiners (see Spanish language thread) in Madrid the weekend after this one which I'm attending, when I'm back after Tues 7th Aug I shall confirm that Vescudero looks like his photo all being well.
2379  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: [BitcoinMax.com] Paying 6.9% per week... Small accounts welcome. on: July 25, 2012, 09:34:24 PM
busy sleeping.

there's no way i could guarantee withdrawals within an hour because i can't be awake 24/7.

the database is fully backed up regularly.

there have been a lot more withdrawals than usual lately. i don't really know an exact reason for this, but that's also why some requests are taking longer than before.

Mine received, many thanks, I didn't mean that you'd guarantee within 1 hour, but if it was within your daylight window & happened to be processed with an hour I think that ppl would be happy to tip you a 0.1% fee if it went through that fast
2380  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: [BitcoinMax.com] Paying 6.9% per week... Small accounts welcome. on: July 25, 2012, 06:47:04 PM
As pirate has opened new account applications to be without a referral now in preparation for next month's changes the OP here could be updated:

Q. Can you give me a referral to BST?
A. No, I'm not offering referrals at all. You can PM pirate for an account now without referral, see his threads.

Q. Can you give me a referral to BST if I pay you XXX.YY btc?
A. Thanks for the offers, but please see the previous question.

I made a small withdrawal request earlier today, if you're waiting for a deposit to match it against that's np.

Just as an idea, you could always implement 2 options for withdrawals, say an ASAP option that costs a 0.1% fee if it's sent within an hour & a free of charge  'I'm not in a hurry option' that may take up to 24 hours & basically waits for a matching deposit/s to come in to Bitcoin Max.
I am also waiting on a withdrawal, my guess is that payb.tc is busy.

It may be on pirate's end, this from his IRC chat a little earlier today:

<pirateat40>   Hey guys, I have a lot of coins moving around (PPT accounts to BS&T accounts and BS&T to PPT accounts). It's not only causing issues with backend but it's delaying real withdraws to account holders by reducing the funds in my operating wallets. So, if you're moving funds to another account please let me know and I can do the transfer internally to ease the process. Thanks

<ineededausername>   Also, I just want to put in a word for pirate: it makes his day much easier if you schedule withdrawals in advance. Please do that so we can avoid queues.

<ineededausername>   Thanks
