P2P on Binance is a very convenient feature, it is clear that Binance acts as an intermediary, they are like a guarantee that the transaction will be successful. You can also see the rating with the percentage of successful transactions, which is very convenient.
That means that in case if Binance website is down for whatever reason, there will be no more P2P and all funds could be lost forever. If you are going to trust CZ with all your personal information and coins just because of convenient features than get ready for rude awakening. P2P stands for person-to person, not Person-to-Binance-to-Person, but people can use whatever they want and learn the hard way.

What would be your first 3 choices? Why would you care what are my or someone else three wallet choices? There are no perfect hardware wallets but anything that is open source and exist for years is good enough, that is Passport, Keystone, Bitbox, and Trezor. However, you really don't need to buy 3 hardware wallets to create 2 of 3 multisig setup, any old smartphone can work fine as one of co-signer devices.

Good news coming from CoinDebit! They just released beta for their new virtual cards but they currently work only for territory of United States or with US IP address. This phase is done for limited number of people who applied for testing phase and they must be approved by CoinDebit team. Official release of new cards should happen after this testing is finished, and I hope they will expand card support for rest of the world.

I was also recently thinking of starting a LN node. Now I am worried: if I download the blockchain, would that in effect mean that my hard drive would contain content that could get me in trouble?
Chances of someone checking your hard drive for content is very low, but you can protect yourself with running bitcoin node with Tor, and having your hard drive encrypted by default (that can easily be done with Linux OS). I wouldn't worry so much about that because running a node is not illegal anywhere, but it's always good to be ready to protect all files on your computer, not just bitcoin related. Minimum you can do is adding strong login password and use separate device for node, not your everyday computer.

Currently can only find 3 books that are legally free to download. Hope to find/add more!
I think there are more free Bitcoin related books and I will try to find them and post links here. One more paid Bitcoin books you could add is called Why Buy Bitcoin by Andy Edstrom, but you could add Bitcoin Whitepaper that is free. That being said, maybe you can add filtering by authors and add links for other languages other than English. EDIT: Swan Bitcoin cofounder Yan Pritzker gives away book Inventing Bitcoin for FREE to Swan community: https://www.swanbitcoin.com/inventing-bitcoin/

I see you are using Coinbase Commerce for accepting payments in Bitcoin and other crypto, but maybe you should add some information for that in checkout page. Many people would just see big yellow Paypal button everywhere, both on item page and on checkout page. One more thing, 5% fee could be lower or you could add some special discount when paid with Bitcoin.

Can the whole thing also be done for USDC / USDT? Are there also reputable and secure desktop wallets for USDC / USDT that can be set up as a watch only address and can be signed on the PC where there is no internet connection?
You asked a bunch of questions in last few days and you talked about hardware wallets, so you can use them for this purpose as watch only wallet. Trezor Suite can work without Trezor hardware wallet if you only want to use it for watching balance of your coins, but you will need to connect your device if you want to make transaction. I am not sure if this is possible for ledger live, but I don't recommend this wallet anyway.

What non-digital storage for secret material (private keys) would you recommend? What advantages would it have over handwriting with a regular pen on paper?
Best option for me is to buy stainless steel washers in local store, engrave on them seed words with hammer/tools, connect them with screw and keep in secure place. This will survive much longer than pen and paper, it will resist fire or water, and you can bring it anywhere with yourself or hide it in multiple locations. If you search in bitcointalk forum (and internet) you will find several instructions how to make your own DIY version stainless steel washers, and some stress testing. Here is one example with lot of extra stuff added: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5389446.0

You all know of anything besides Lightning?
There are many other layer two solutions for Bitcoin, and I think best collection for this is made by Jameson Lopp on his website. He separated Lightnng Network from Sidechains, Drivechains, Statechains, Softchains and Spacechains, but all that are second layer solutions with different use cases. I think that Liquid by Blockstream is second best know L2 solution, but it's still far from being popular or widely adopted Bitcoiners. My favorite use of layer two solutions is for privacy, for example Mecury wallet with Statechains, but I hope to see more alternatives in future: https://www.lopp.net/bitcoin-information/other-layers.html

I just found another wallet [Arctic] that claims it has " added support for SegWit and Taproot addresses" in their second February update, but when I checked their Windows and Android apps, I couldn't find a way to change the default Legacy address! I will wait more before adding this wallet to the list until they clearly make public release and after someone test if everything is working fine. Not being open source is a big negative grade for me, so I will not be recommending it any time soon. Thank you for posting suggestion, but let's wait for them to release mainnet version of Iris wallet before adding it to my list of supported wallets. I couldn't find any website so far, and only thing I could find is their social media accounts and github page. It shouldn't be so hard for them to make simple website for this wallet

The wallet was drained on Feb 14th. The password was in my head not on paper. The seed phrase was on paper in a safe which only I have access to. Coinomi denies all responsibility and basically says too bad so sad. My wife and I are retired, the wallet held our "safe" retirement cash savings. Stay away from this wallet.
Sorry, but this is ultimately your own fault, this is a hot wallet and there is always a risk that something gets leaked if you are not careful. I bet if I scanned your device used for installing Coinomi (probably with wInD0ws OS) that I would find several malware, or software that records what you type. That is why people invented hardware wallets and that is why they are using airgapped devices. On top of everything, Copinomi is closed source software, it's mistake using closed source Bitcoin wallets.

Is this Bitcoin watch a great innovation for everyone or just for a selected few, or is it just a waste of money for anyone who intends to buy it?
For me this is not innovation at all, but rich people often throw money away on things like this... so why not. Bitcoin watch would be cool to have as collectible item but I certainly wouldn't wear this Vanguard Bitcoin wallet with QR code public address and private key on USB stick. I especially wouldn't waste do much money (from 13,000 to 82,000 CHF/EUR) for any watch in the world, but I understand this was designed to be luxury Bitcoin item.

I have heard about taproot address and segwit address but it seems that segwit address is the most common type of address requested for bitcoin transaction. Why? For example when I go to the service board most of the campaign requires that applicants submit their segwit address. Why? Would bitcoin be lost if I send taproot address instead of a segwit address?
Segwit addresses starting with bc1 are much better than old format address starting with number 1 or 3, main reason is because fees are usually lower than for other address types. Taproot addresses are very similar like segwit for regular users so there is no much difference in fees, but they support scripts and they are even better for saving fees on multisig addresses. Mostly used today are Segwit addresses, that is why managers are asking people to submit them instead of old formats, but you can use Taproot as well and nothing will be lost.

Thanks for the links. If there was a big recount, then apparently this is a very rare occurrence, because in almost 4 years of my active presence on the forum, for the first time I encountered such phenomena that a bunch of posts simply disappeared.
This issue happened to me few times before and I couldn't explain how it happened exactly. I never cared about that so much but I noticed this difference in campaign spreadsheet and I couldn't find the real reason, that was probably related with some older topics and topics, and maybe previously deleted posts are the real reason. Note that I never checked if BPIP and Ninjastic websites are showing the same number of posts or not.

So, once a topic is created it can get filled with spam and we can't prevent that, we are just dependent on moderators deleting it?
You can still report all the posts you consider to be spam and moderators will probably delete most of them, if you created that topic. It wouldn't be fair to change topics from normal to self-moderated later and I think scammers could abuse that function. Just lock the old topic and create new one that is self-moderated... it's not that hard. Doesn't make any sense in my opinion because I see zero reasons to disable it. It's just beneficial for spammers. It doesn't make sense that you can't delete topic you created, but you still can't, and many other things

Coinslotty trenutno radi s oko desetak strimera i vjerovao ili ne svaki isusov strimer out there hoće drugačije uvjete Tako da ti sve ovisi od osobe do osobe i koliko negotiation powera ima. Ako si veliki strimer onda možeš doslovce uvjetovati što god želiš, no ako si neki mići mawi onda smo mi ti koji postavljamo uvjete. SirJohnVonSlotty jeste li odabrali i naručili one hardverske novčanike o kojima smo pričali?

What do you think would be the safest hardware wallets? There is no one universally best and safest hardware wallet in the world, and you can always find good and bad things in all of them. I would generally avoid any closed source hardware wallets devices like ledger or safepal, and I would look something that has regular updates. If you are only need wallet for Bitcoin than Foundation Passport is good option, but it is more expensive than others. ColdCard is not really open source anymore now it has common clause license, and it can be used only for Bitcoin like Passport. BitBox02 wallet is fine open source wallet, but it's not exactly my top choice. The coldcard is also not included in the list, apparently coldcard is not that trustworthy
You literally wrote ''cold card'' in your list: For me it would be cold card BitBox02 Foundation Device and OneKey

I just did my first every lightning network payment from a smartphone wallet to a desktop wallet ( 2 different wallets, muun and phoenix )
Can you please clarify what desktop wallet you used exactly for lightning transactions, since Muun and Phoenix are both mobile only wallets? Maybe it's possible to install them on computer using some Android emulator, but that is not exactly what you would call a desktop wallet.

but you still haven't provided any valid proof of payment, neither publicly nor in a private message to a trusted DT member.
You can clearly see this guy has some kind of mental illness that creates a lot of vulgar insults, lies and stupid posts, so I think it's time for moderators to react and clean the junk. This clown turned everything into circus show with his recent posts, fake scam accusations, personal insults and he didn't provide a single proof of payment.
