~snip~

Totally possible due to the rate at which Kohli is striking the ball currently. They did lose Parthiv, but they still have a lot of power players remaining. Lets see what happens.
Kohli is already set. De Villiers will take few balls to settle down. I am expecting the next few overs will have slow run rate. Let's see what happen. I think I have 50/50 chance to win the bet I placed.

With RCB hitting 90 in 11 overs it's going to be close, a couple of wickets to shake up the batting order and you could be on to a winner there!

I'm still thinking the strike rate is too low to beat KKR on their current form, RCB are probably going to finish around 150 and I don't think KRR have scored under 180 so far this tournament.

@bbc.reporter - If the Mountain kills the Hound there's going to be a riot!  Grin

I've mostly avoided the first death head to head matchups, as the ones with the best odds that I would usually bet on are the people I actually want to survive!

@Juggy777 The lines are head to head matchups, so the first one out of the two named characters to die during the series (any episode) will win. If neither of them die during the series then it's a push (stake returned).

I agree with most of your predictions except Cersei - there's been a few rumours going round of late that hint that she will be bumped off pretty early into the series, and because I dislike her i've convinced myself it's a fact  Wink

I've gone with a comfortable victory for KKR in the pool, I can't see RCB beating them off the back of their awful performances recently, unless the reported 'strategy change' pays off in a big way.

That said, it's produced some interesting long odds for today's match which might be worth a small bet (min stakes are just 0.0000001 BTC after all!)

- Kohli to score 50 (2.74)
- De Villiers to score 50 (2.84)
- Lynn to score 50 (4.10)
- Stoinis to score 50 (5.50)
- Hetmyer to score 50 (7.00)

- KKR Total Runs after 6 overs: Under 44.5 (2.72)
- RCB Total Runs after 6 overs: Under 43.5 (2.84)

We've also just added top batsmen and top bowler markets  Smiley

Eyeing for Raptors -4.5, good luck everyone.

That's looking like a pretty good bet given current odds!  Smiley

Toronto Raptors -3.5 (1.67) Margin - 5.13%
Toronto Raptors -5.5 (1.92) Margin - 4.99%

Margins are a little higher than I was expecting on those lines but we still seem to be beating most of the competitors I've checked currently.

I'm thinking of a little bet on the Spurs tonight at -6.5 (1.96) with a tasty 2.57% margin.

Southampton vs Liverpool today. Any mistake from Liverpool will cost them the title. I hope a straight win of 0 - 2 for Liverpool. The record is also good against Southampton.

Huge game for Liverpool. The pressure could get to them but I can see Mane and Van Dijk turning up the heat at their old stomping ground. Will be interesting to see the reception from the fans at St Mary's.

Our soccer writer tipped Liverpool for the win in this week's blog:

Liverpool to win (1.42)

"Liverpool’s fortunate last-minute win against Tottenham last weekend has given them a huge psychological boost for this one, and with Jurgen Klopp set to return to a 4-2-3-1 formation on Friday – with Adam Lallana providing the creativity they lacked at Anfield – the visitors should win. Liverpool have won every single game they have played in the league this season against teams 12th or lower in the table.

Southampton are in good form, however, winning three of their last four matches thanks to the resurgent form of Stuart Armstrong and James Ward-Prowse. Their pace on the counter-attack will cause some problems, although ultimately Virgil van Dijk and company are just too strong for Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side."

Thoughts? I'm personally leaning towards Liverpool at -1.5 (2.16) for a small bet, looking forward to watching this one live.

@buwaytress - We have a bunch of guest writers and tipsters for various sports and topics, you can usually find them all at the Cloudbet blog under the 'previews' tab.

We are always on the lookout for new writers (and we pay in btc!) so if anyone thinks they are up to the challenge then feel free to hit up blog@cloudbet.com for further info.

When it comes to soccer betting I tend to stick to the National League as it's where I have the most knowledge. It's mostly bets placed against my team (Leyton Orient) so I'm happy with either a win for the team or some consolation winnings for the pub afterwards! That said, if I see some tasty odds on an EPL game I'm often tempted into dropping a small wager, especially if it's one I'm planning to watch live with friends.

Afternoon all,

We've just lowered our margins across most of our sportsbook lines, and combined with our new low minimum stakes of just 0.0000001 BTC it's a great time to sign up and test our service with very little risk and potentially large returns.

For any high rollers out there we are still offering our 100% first deposit bonus of up to 5 BTC, and offer some of the highest limits available for crypto betting across all major events.

We've also got a couple of exclusive promotions running at the moment, as well as our usual weekly promotion schedule:

March Madness 1 BTC giveaway - Bet on the NBA, NCAA, or PBA to get a ticket for a 1 BTC prize draw! Details here.

Spring Supreme - Bitcoin casino slots tournament with 8+ BTC in prizes! Details here.

If you have any questions about Cloudbet then feel free to drop by our thread, or hit me up on Twitter @Cloudbet.

Afternoon all,

@SyGambler - I haven't been notified of any changes to our sportsbook offering, so there's a chance this could be an issue that needs fixing. Could you please let me know the other leagues you are looking for? I'll pass on the details to our sportsbook team and ask that they take a look for you. Thanks!

@dark08 - Currently trying to avoid refreshing CoinMarketCap every few minutes  Cheesy  I'm personally leaning towards the bitcoin price continuing to rise for a short time before stabilizing around $6.5k, but even if that somehow happens i'll still be too scared to sell in case it continues to rise - the FOMO is real!

Any sportsbook fans out there following the NCAA March Madness competition? Now that Duke have been toppled the top 4 is looking much more open, I'm genuinely excited to see who is going to claim the win this year.

Our guest writer Chris Antoniou has pulled together a guide on the final four teams, with tips and the best odds for the remaining head to head games. Check it out here!

Fighting talk:

I've also challenged some forum members who cast doubts on our soccer expert's pick of West Ham to beat Chelsea this weekend in the EPL, so I thought i'd extend the invitation here too!  Wink

If you place a bet on West Ham to win (9.56) and post the bet ID here, I'll credit your account with 10 Free Spins on our most popular casino slots (min bet 0.001 BTC). If West Ham lose I'll admit defeat and add an additional 15 free spins to your account - how's that for a win/win?  Tongue

Have a great day!

Afternoon all,

@MakeMoneyBtc & rdbase - Thank you very much for the feedback, I'll be passing it on directly to our payment teams. I agree this is an area where we could do better, and we will be working to improve our service in this regard.

@TopTort777 - I love it when we get suggestions like this, it really makes my job easier!  Wink I really like the idea of encouraging additional predictions available on site, I'll have a play around with some of the prediction competition models I've created and see how it would fit in to the mechanics. Thanks very much!

@balanesculiviu10 - As mentioned above, forgetting to update the license information was an unfortunate oversight, and has since been corrected. As you were told by our support teams, we hold two valid licences - one with E-Gaming Montenegro and Curacao gaming. Both of which have been active throughout the whole period of your activity with us.

Hows everyone's crypto portfolio looking with the recent price increase? Seeing BTC and BCH climbing in price has definitely put a smile on my face this morning!

Anyone planning to buy before the end of this potential bull run, or do you think this is another extended pump and dump?

@TopTort777 - Great to know you have enjoyed our competitions on here so far!

I'm currently working on a few different structures for new competitions and campaigns, trying to come up with something a little different to the usual predictors. I'll let you know as soon as I've got some concrete plans - if you have any suggestions I'd be very happy to hear them!

I would love to suggest you something if I knew what you are planning to come up with Cheesy

The sports predictors have been popular, and Cloud 9 was the first time I've mixed up the different sports to put people out of their comfort zone, but we might get more entries if we stick to one sport like soccer where people feel they are more knowledgeable about the teams involved (and more entries usually means I can push for a bigger prize pool)

My main issue when planning competitions is balancing fun with a need to promote our services (it's one of the reasons I'm here after all!). If I can include mechanics that encourage visits to our site or players placing bets then I can usually secure a much larger prize budget, but at the same time adding these kind of requirements usually results in fewer entries. It's a fine balancing act!

571  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cloudbet's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: April 02, 2019, 03:05:57 PM
I don't see any good reason why Chelsea would lose that match as the fight for that 4th place in Premier League is so intense. I've watched the match against Everton and they were just dominated, barely getting to Everton target as they had only one shot on target the whole match. Chelsea desperately needs this victory and I don't think they will miss this opportunity to get an easy 3 points.

@MakeMoneyBtc - Our tipster managed to get 6/6 one week in March so I wouldn't discount West Ham completely just yet. If Chelsea don't pull out a convincing win against Brighton they could start the next game with their heads down - especially if Sarri can't motivate the team.

Hows about this - if Chelsea wins I'll give you 20 free spins on one of our most popular slots, but if West Ham wins you have to share our next soccer tips blog somewhere!  Wink

@balanesculiviu10 - Thanks for getting in touch. Our license information has now been changed, forgetting to update the expiry date was a simple oversight on our part.

In regards to the roulette issue, could you please DM me your Cloudbet nickname and support ticket number? I'll escalate this to our support team who will respond where appropriate.

Thanks,

573  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Game of Thrones - Who will rule? Odds and betting discussion [Odds updated!] on: April 02, 2019, 11:42:31 AM

I'm now leaning towards a child of Dany & Jon being raised as a future king with Tyrion as their protector/regent.

Ronnie @ Cloudbet

We must consider that George R.R. Martin is also crazy hehehe. Your ending would be the model ending, however when did the writers take that direction? We will certainly see more surprises.

I predict Daenarys, Jon and Tyrion will die before Cersei.

Hey I feel that could happen as this could be one big story that Sam is reading, to Jon and Danny’s child. I had read leaked scripts last year not sure if it’ll be true or not, but Cersei shall be bumped off very soon by her so called lover Euron so it’ll be interesting to see how long she survives. I feel Danny has to die as that’s logical from the shows perspective, but Jon and Tyrion better survive.

Sam reading to baby Jon/Dany would actually make a lot of sense, and I'm very interested in the idea of Euron killing Cersei. There was even some talk that the baby Cersi claims to be carrying is Euron's which might be some kind of trigger, or possibly even drive Jamie to kill his sister.

Jon's stabbing in the books was enough to make me quit for a while, if he does get killed off in the show I'm going to be super sad.

Some good news to share - I was initially told our Game of Thrones lines would be coming down on April 1st, but it now seems they will be staying up until April14th (right up until the start of the new series!)  Smiley

Our usual football tipster has pulled a prediction for West ham to beat Chelsea on Monday (8.86).

From the blog:

"Maurizio Sarri’s treatment of Callum Hudson-Odoi over the weekend has proven that the Italian cannot handle managing a team of Chelsea’s calibre, and his days are clearly numbered. Their dreadful performance at Cardiff City last weekend was not masked by their victory, and so West Ham United will feel confident of causing an upset.

The visitors will return to a more securely structured 4-5-1 after the disaster against Everton, allowing them to sit deep, absorb Chelsea’s aimless possession, and break quickly on the counter. The disorganisation in the Chelsea defence makes them vulnerable to the pace of Michail Antonio and Marko Aurnautovic, while Declan Rice will probably get the better of Eden Hazard."

What do you think of the Hammers chances? With odds of around 8.86 I'm thinking it's at least worth a punt before Chelsea play Brighton on Wednesday, the result of that game could change the odds dramatically.

What are your thoughts on today's game? I've picked a narrow victory for the Royals but I've got a feeling it's going to be a close one. Both teams are coming off a 3 game losing streak so this is probably the best chance for one of them to pick up their first win!

I'm counting on the Royals bowlers here. Gopal and Gowtham should give Kohli and De Villiers a run for their money.

You can check out our odds for today's match here. Don't forget you can now bet with just 0.0000001 BTC so going after some long odds could be worth a shot  Wink

Morning all,

Apologies for the delayed responses, I was out of the office for a couple of days.

You don't just have to wait for me though, our sportsbook and Casino teams are running some exciting promotions at the moment:

Spring Supreme - Bitcoin casino slots tournament with 8+ BTC in prizes! Details here.

Good luck!  Grin

@nurzahan - I'm passing on all the requests to our sportsbook team who seem keen to get more leagues up. I'm hoping to have an update for you soon but unfortunately I can't make any promises from my position.

@bazkie_bumpercar - I was just about to respond then saw your follow up DM, thanks for letting me know the email issue is all resolved. Our teams are investigating the problem and will be working to solve the problem as a priority - it's only been reported a few times but it's frustrating enough for players that it warrants a quick fix.

In regards to the withdrawal delay I'll speak to one of our team leaders now and ask that they process the payment ASAP.

@MakeMoneyBtc - Thanks for stopping by! There are a number of issues that can cause delays with withdrawals, such as a high number of requests during peak times, but we will always strive to process all payments as soon as possible. Most of us are players too and know how frustrating waiting for a withdrawal can be.

@germanszaky - That's great news! Glad it's all been settled, and thanks for stopping by to provide an update.

Have a great day everyone!

Hope you are having a good week  Smiley

@MakeMoneyBtc - We don't allow multi accounting at Cloudbet, as rdbase pointed out, it's usually only used by people wanting to bypass restrictions, take advantage of bonus promotions, or some kind of affiliate shennanigans.

@germanszaky - Glad to see things are moving forward. I'll keep pushing and try to get this resolved for you as soon as possible.

It's been a while since I posted any of our blog articles here, and with the sportsbook schedule heating up as many leagues reach the final stages, it seems like a good time to share some of our expert's analysis:

Looking to bet on soccer this weekend? We went 6/6 with our picks last week, and a multi bet would have got you odds of 24.0! Check out this week's blog for our guide to the biggest European games this weekend, with tips and picks for the best value lines.

Is Basketball more your thing? March Madness is back tonight after a brief hiatus, and it's looking like an action-packed weekend ahead for the NCAA! Take a look at our guide to the first round matchups, or if your looking for value with your bets, our March Madness bitcoin betting guide is full of strategies to maximise your returns.

We are even running a 1 BTC March Madness Giveaway for anyone betting on the NBA, NCAA, or PBA basketball leagues. A single bet of 0.0001 BTC or more on any line from these competitions get's you a free ticket to the prize draw on April 9th - don't forget to check back to see if you've won!

Capping off this weekend's sporting action, the IPL is back in full swing, and this year's competition is looking to be one of the closest fought in recent years. Our cricket experts have taken a deep dive into the top teams as well as a more general guide to cricket betting strategy in the IPL.

Did I mention our new low minimum stakes of just 0.0000001 BTC? There's value in taking the long odds or making some crazy multi bets on the weekend's action - bet small and dream big!

Right, that's enough shameless self promotion for this week  Wink

If you have any questions about the articles above or want to discuss the weekend's sporting action then post away!

I myself will be listening to the commentary as my beloved Leyton Orient travel to face Barnet in the National League. Top of the league with only 8 games to go, but with only 9 points separating the top five and plenty of teams with games in hand, who will claim the automatic promotion spot is still anyone's guess.

Have a great day!
