Three quarters in and it's turning out to be a brick throwing contest between Luka and ANT hehe. Good thing for the Mavs is that Kyrie is on point while McDaniels covering for both KAT and ANT. One thing that the Mavs have to look out for going into the fourth quarter is how they are turning the ball twice as many as the Wolves.

Definitely a good game and coming down to the wire. I’m surprised how good Kyrie specifically is doing but Dallas as a whole is shooting great. I’m surprised they’re losing when looking at the stats. They’re only down 3 though and Luka is just starting to get hot, so I’m expecting the end of this one to be worth sticking around for.

Edit: Luka just went on a 7-0 run by himself and gave the Mavs the lead.
742  Economy / Speculation / Re: 100 Push-Ups A Day Until Bitcoin Is $100K Challenge on: May 23, 2024, 02:18:48 AM
I decided I have recovered enough from my surgery to start a 100 exercise.

I am older so I will do 100 stair steps

May 21 2024 100 Steps done  time 3 minutes 33 seconds price $70,015
May 22 2024 100 steps done time 3 minutes 4 seconds price 69.2k
May 23 2025
May 24 2025

So I did 100 again today.

that is actually 200 as it is 100 steps upwards and 100 steps downwards

I hope to do this for quite a while.

Keep it up! Nice to see you keeping track and holding yourself accountable. After a couple months you’ll wonder how you ever didn’t do that every day.

I got my 100 in today and managed to do some swimming and some time on the bike. I must say that I wish I was doing 100 squats along with my 100 push-ups but that sounds like so much effort. Maybe 100 burpees instead of push-ups?

Here’s a great quote from our leader today.

"We cannot win this reelection.. we can only reelect Donald Trump!" -Joe Biden

I know he misspoke, but it’s still funny that he literally came right out and said the truth. Like some dementia powered moment of honesty and clarity. I only hope he turns out to be right once all the mail in votes are counted…
744  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 22, 2024, 06:48:02 PM
Pretty funny to see the Biden administration start attempting to pander to the crypto community now that they see it is impossible for Joe Biden to win the next election. Even with the coming mail in ballot fraud and use of illegals immigrants to vote, they still won’t be able to muster up enough to keep him in the White House. I suspect this will be a positive for Bitcoin going forward as politicians are embracing our community in an attempt to win over some support.
745  Other / Meta / Re: The effect the mixer ban has had on the forum. on: May 22, 2024, 06:18:39 PM
The accusation that Leo left the forum due to low payrate is one of the most ridiculous ones I've heard.

I know nothing about this situation so there's that...  However, if there's one thing I know about longtime Bitcoiners, it's that they know the value of BTC and when someone offers you some, a low pay rate can be easily acceptable due to the belief that Bitcoin will continue to grow in value.  I doubt very much that a low pay rate is what made "Leo" leave the forum that has been a daily part of his/her life for so long.  Especially when one has the belief that $100 in BTC will be $1,000 in BTC someday.  This forum has been around for a long time.  Many members are going to have health problems and leave in the future.  It's the circle of life.  In another 10 years it will be very common here I'm sure.
746  Economy / Speculation / Re: 100 Push-Ups A Day Until Bitcoin Is $100K Challenge on: May 22, 2024, 06:13:30 PM
I think for about 2 months now the first thing I do when I get out of bed is stretch, brush my teeth, then do 40+ push-ups.  It's gotten to the point where I pretty much have a push-up count in my mind the entire day until they're done and once they are done I want to do more so I have to find other ways to workout.  Adding curls does bring me a little pain back in my elbow, but I'll stick with it until that pain goes away.  Now that it's getting hotter here in the desert, I'm starting to wish I had a stair machine or a treadmill, but my stationary bike and swimming will have to do.  At this point I'm worried I might find myself joining a gym soon and becoming a 260 gym bro like Bradley Martyn.
747  Other / Meta / Re: Is this forum getting worse and worse? on: May 22, 2024, 06:07:01 PM
I agree in a sense.  Clearly this forum has taken a massive and steady decline since 2016.  You'd have to have your head in the ground to think otherwise.  I disagree wholeheartedly with your assumption that it has anything to do with the mixer ban though.  Mixers were paying people to come here and spout nonsense while defending each other's bad actions to the point the trust network is a joke.  That led to users attacking honest people who build things here, so actual useful members just take their talent and leave rather than bicker with idiots who are only stating nonsense to get more posts in and earn more.  Now that these paid to post troublemakers are starting to leave here, it's almost becoming bearable to have discussions and build on ideas again.  Maybe we'll see something of value built here by the community again at some point rather than leaving Bitcoiners to chase Ordinals and Runes for something to do.
748  Other / Off-topic / Re: Christians are all hypocrites who will all go to HELL. on: May 22, 2024, 06:00:23 PM
So everyone who I know who is a Christian is also worthless scumbag. Christians tend to be extremely angry, hateful, hostile people. Christians are completely and utterly incapable of apologizing for anything because Christians do not know a damn thing about repentance. Christians are often alcoholics or people who just act like they are drunk 24/7. Christians have very low levels of intelligence. If you tell me that you are a Christian, I will just believe that you are a lying immoral scumbag. Jesus hates Christians.

In Christ,

-Joseph Van Name Ph.D.

This reminds me of a great quote from Michael Caine playing Austin Powers' father in one of those Austin Powers movies.  This quote echoes in my brain and makes me laugh more often than it should.  I believe that's the correct response when someone says something so insanely hypocritical and stupid.  That seems to be the case with this thread, so I think it fits perfectly.  Enjoy!

“There's only two things I hate in this world. People who are intolerant of other people's cultures and the Dutch.”

I'm taking Minnesota over Dallas for today.  I think that Dallas is going to struggle against the athleticism of Anthony Edwards while at the same time I think Luka will struggle against Minnesota's defense.  I suspect that Dallas is going to try to shoot their way to a win tonight, so maybe Luka or Kyrie will have an amazing night beyond the arch and will their team to a victory, but I think more likely they'll be frustrated with their lack of penetration and will struggle to score against Minnesota...  Game is on TNT so that's good news for watchers.

It is now official for the TNT NBA crew. Next year will be the final year for Ernie, Shaq, Chuck and Kenny to do their thing together. I’m pretty bummed about it to be honest. That might just be the best studio show of all time. I thought for sure they’d be doing this for years. I’ll miss Ernie. I hope he finds a new gig and doesn’t retire.
752  Economy / Speculation / Re: 100 Push-Ups A Day Until Bitcoin Is $100K Challenge on: May 22, 2024, 06:03:28 AM
Hey guys and girls, how have you're process been going so far?  Smiley
I did another kind of challenge, I tired to push my PB on a 20KM run and finally beat my PB that was from when I was in the young 20s.
Now I have been addicted to Ultra-Running! And running every morning all thanks to this thread. (I was running often before also) but never in this phase and at this seriousness. Even bought myself a new fresh Under Armour shoes thanks to my Solana investments.  Cool

I just want to give a big thanks to OgNasty that came up with this idea, you have actually made me so much happier mentally and finally I have got into running in a serious manner again. Thanks bro all respect to you!
I will try to be more active here. My goal is to run a Marathon under 3 hours this year., and try a Ultra-Running race next year.
This is so amazing when people come together and help each other out, this is the best medicine we can use for our mental health and much more.

And for last.. I have never felt this happy and positive in.. i cant remember and it's all because I have taking my training to another level.
Who knows? Maybe gonna train and be a Iron Man to. Would be epic if we could get a group here and sign up for a Iron Man race together and do it together, that would be epic.  Cool

OgNasty you're a living legend. Thanks again bud.

I’m glad to see that this thread has inspired you to do great things and improve yourself. I’m even happy to get some praise but while I started this thread, the idea of doing 100 push-ups per day until Bitcoin reaches $100K was not mine. I just brought it to our little corner of the internet with the hopes of helping this community build some strength and maintain faith that we will reach $100K.
753  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: May 22, 2024, 05:58:25 AM
I actually think tonight’s close game was good news for the Celtics. Indiana was going to come in and give it their all for game 1. Boston has a lot of injured players including Kristaps Porzingis who plays a decent sized role on the team. Holding off the Pacers while they have a great shooting night pretty much tells the tale that Boston wins this series quickly.
754  Economy / Speculation / Re: 100 Push-Ups A Day Until Bitcoin Is $100K Challenge on: May 21, 2024, 11:29:30 PM
It’s getting pretty easy to knock out these 100 push-ups in a small amount of time. I feel like I will need to figure out a way to make my push-ups more difficult because I don’t want to have to start remembering random amounts every day. Elevating your feet when doing them makes it a little harder but I’m thinking of getting one of those push-up boards where you can work different muscle groups with different hand holds.

More confirmation of the coming Ethereum ETF approval as VanEck Spot ETH ETF has been listed on their website under ticker symbol ETHV. I’m very curious to see how these ETF’s handle Ethereum staking. Will the funds be growing the amount of ETH per share or will they be paying a dividend to shareholders? This is getting interesting…
756  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Poverty change people on: May 21, 2024, 06:46:56 PM
Poverty is a disease that changes people.

I think growing up impoverished with parents that have good morals is the best possible upbringing a person could have.  I was raised on food stamps at a young age.  Most of my clothes were hand-me-downs.  I never had a fancy bike or ate brand name foods.  I know what it's like to live a summer without an air conditioner or have to sleep in a car.  The things I've had to do make me extremely appreciative of the things I get to do now.  It also leaves you based.  I could afford to fly to Italy for pasta if I wanted it for dinner tonight, but I'm going to eat a $1.79 taco instead and be happier.  Most people can't grasp this.

I noticed you and others like The Pharmacist, Pmalek, OgNasty and others I hardly see again in the forum.

You never see me posting around the forum?  I'm shitposting at levels that could only be reached by someone with a severe case of diarrhea these days.  Pretty sure my posting rate over the last year is higher than it's ever been by a wide margin, but who knows...  I guess if you stay out of the gambling or speculation sections I may not exist on this forum recently.

For anyone else who thinks I haven't been posting, I apologize.  I've been busy doing push-ups and watching basketball.  Feel free to join me in either.  Here's a link to get your started.

758  Economy / Speculation / Re: 100 Push-Ups A Day Until Bitcoin Is $100K Challenge on: May 21, 2024, 06:38:03 PM
I will advise everyone in this pushups challenge to incorporate other forms of exercise. This is likely to provide a greater overall health benefit than pushups alone.

You are right mate, outside push-up exercise I have also been involved with some of this aerobics exercises such as lunges exercises which has helped to strengthen my lower muscles and also squats exercises and running too.
There is really a great health benefits doing exercises.

Obviously exercise can go beyond push-ups, but I feel if you're only going to do one exercise, push-ups is a great choice.  Everyone should also be doing things like walking as well.  Personally, I ride my bike daily, along with other weights, stairs and swimming (I love summertime), but I think a commitment to doing 100 push-ups a day should be first and foremost in people's minds.  Especially people over 40, as you do not want to let your muscles disappear on you in old age.  You have to fight to keep your strength, and if you don't start it at 40, it's going to get harder and harder by the day.

Canada is being sacrificed for the globalist movement.  Soon it will be an islamic country if their leadership isn't changed.  Given the fact that those who oppose their government have their bank accounts frozen and will now be arrested and jailed for their opinions, I think Canada is already lost.  We can see who their next elected leader is and maybe it will change course, but as of right now Canada is spiraling towards becoming a third world country in another generation or two.  All I can say to Canadians is...  GTFO of Canada as fast as you can.  You should have done it the second you saw the response to the trucker movement.
760  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is boxing the worst sport to bet on? on: May 21, 2024, 06:27:37 PM
I guess it depends on what you mean by the worst sport to bet on.  I personally wouldn't agree with that because boxing is a lot of fun to bet on.  The fights aren't incredibly long so it isn't difficult to sit through the entire thing, plus there's nothing like watching someone get knocked out while earning you a bunch of money.  I think given the thousands of years of gladiators and human history, boxing or MMA would be the most normalized for of gambling.  It's practically programmed into our DNA at this point to see two people fighting and want to pick out a winner in advance.
