821  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: None active projects on social media on: November 16, 2022, 11:41:40 AM
Good day everyone, I want to keep this question short and simple.

If a project is not active enough on their social media account like Twitter is this a red flag or a reason not to invest in the project.

For me personally, activity on social media is not really an indicator if a crypto project is legit and good or not. I mean just look at what is going on in the crypto space with airdrops and bounties and that stuff. Every shit meme-coin that is created by a single person can easily get 10.000 twitter followers withing a day if they announce an airdrop where you need to follow their twitter account.
So the number of twitter followers does not really mean anything, because we just can not know if a project got those followers because they were interested in the project or because of a stupid airdrop or another competition. You should check for other indicators to evaluate if a project is good or not.
822  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 15, 2022, 07:42:05 PM
as 'daily mirror' reports, premier league club manchester United have accelerated their plans to replace Cristiano Ronaldo - and have chosen none other than france national striker Kylian Mbappe as their new target.

I am not that familiar with the english tabloids but as far as i know the daily mirror is a rather bad and untrustworthy one and it's rumors at not really worth the read. Also with this rumor it should be pretty obvious that there is no substance to it. Kylian Mbappe is definitely among the top 5 football player in the world right now and basically every big club wants to have him. So there is zero chance in my opinion that Mbappe would choose Manchester United as his favorite destination. ManU is far away from the glorious days of around 10 years ago. At the moment Manchester United is far way from the top clubs of the world.
823  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: METAMASK TOKEN BIGGEST AIRDROP EVER! on: November 15, 2022, 07:31:15 PM
I heard that The existence of Metamask token has been verified by Joe Lubin, the founder of Consensys, the company that owns Metamask..

There are rumors about a possible introduction of a metamask tokens for many many months now. In order to maybe qualify for that airdrop i used the swap function of metamask for the wallets that i am using. I would guess that you need to use that function in order to be eligible to receive those tokens. I don't know though, that is just a feeling. That being said it is not officially confirmed yet if there will be a metamask token at all.
If there will be a token airdrop then it really can be the biggest airdrop ever. That also means though that you should not expect to get a significant amount of money with that airdrop. There are just two many people that will receive it and will immediately sell their tokens.
824  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: November 15, 2022, 01:04:02 PM
Yup...  Very embarassing.  But if you read into it, it looks like Perez did something really naughtly at Monaco this season.  Perez was caught to have admitted that he deliberately crashed at Monaco quali to cause a red flag, deprive Verstappen for a chance at pole and get the pole position himself.  In the radio at Brazil, Verstsppen was saying something like 'you know my reasons, we've talked about this' when he didn't follow team orders to let Perez pass.  There' something going on behind all this.  And I don't think Perez gets a new contract after his current one...

My first reaction when i saw the race and Verstappen did not give back that position to his team mate Perez even though he desperately needed that points was also that Verstappen is such selfish and arrogant idiot. Then i read about that rumors that Perez crashed intentionally in the qualifying in Monaco in order to prevent Verstappen and other drivers to place in front of him. That back then happened when the championship was still completely open so if this is true then this really was a very dirty and damaging move from Perez and i can understand Verstappen if he still does not want to help Perez after this.
I guess Perez will have to leave Red Bull after this season.
825  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ftx hacker bought 7000 eth on: November 15, 2022, 12:57:12 PM
Ftx hacker bought 7000 eth just now…😱
Why is his wallets no frozen coinbase and usdt.
Stealing funds and buying eth. Weird! 😥

Seems like a weird decision for a hacker to buy ETH with his stolen funds. I mean i would probably buy stablecoins with it in this turbulent market. Also i don't think it is a very good move to buy Ethereum as a hacker because ETH can be pretty easily traced by the authorities, the policy and everyone else. So if he ever wants to cash those ETH out he will probably get caught i think. Maybe he just bought that ETH now to leave them untouched or to stake them for a few years and then in the futures when no one really thinks about that hack anymore he will start to move those funds again. I am sure though that a lot of people will continue to monitor this hacker even in a few years.

826  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: November 13, 2022, 12:41:35 PM
Big match today between Freiburg vs Union Berlin and based on head to head statistics it showed Freiburg had good records than Union Berlin but Freiburg records while against the teams in the top 5 was quite poor and today Freiburg hoping will gets the winning result again through an this match but Union Berlin also had same mission that after losing points from their 2 recent matches Union Berlin also had ambition to gets 3 points

Today is a match between two teams that are performing way above everyone's expectations so far in this season and even though Union Berlin had some not so successful matches in the last few weeks we still should not be disappointed about that. Freiburg has also lost it's last match but that was against RB Leipzig, which is probably the second strongest team of the league at the moment, behind Bayern Munich of course.
Both teams have the chance to be on the second place of the Bundesliga table after todays match which is pretty incredible given the fact that we are already on matchday 15 and that clubs like Borussia Dortmund, Leverkusen, Wolfsburg and Gladbach are all behind Union and Freiburg so far.
827  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ONE MAJOR LESSON LEARNT SO FAR THIS WEEK FROM THE CRYPTO MARKET 😥 on: November 13, 2022, 12:33:04 PM
What lesson did you learn from the market this week?

I personally, learnt to always take profit.

To be honest i have not really learned anything from the happenings of the last few days, to be honest i don't really know what can be learned from it. Maybe that a hefty dump of the whole crypto space can come pretty much out of nowhere at any given time, as for me that whole stuff happened completely unexpected. In general i agree that you should always take some profit with you once your investments are in the profit zone and that you should never be to greedy. That being said i am not sure if that advice or principle can be applied to the current situation. I mean we were in a bear market even before that dump.
828  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: November 12, 2022, 09:14:45 PM
The game is over and Bayern are still too strong for Schalke.
The score 0-2 decorates the board in this match. A fairly easy match and an easy bet for Bayern, with this result they keep away from the pursuit of other teams and this seems to be normal because they always do this every season.
Currently, Leipzig as a competitor is 6 points adrift and this is not an easy thing to get closer to the point margin if you look at Bayern's current performance.

I watched that match and i have to say that this was a rather unspectacular match to watch today. Of course Bayern as completely dominant because the quality difference between them and Schalke 04 is just way to big. That being said, Schalke showed a pretty good performance for their standard i would say and with "only" a 0-2 defeat, against a team of Bayern Munich that is in a great shape in the last few weeks, they can be pretty happy with themself i think.
Bayern now already has a 9 point lead over Borussia Dortmund. I think if a team can be dangerous to Bayern this year then it is RB Leipzig. They are already on the second place until tomorrow. Then Freiburg or Union Berlin will overtake them again.
829  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People are going to realize the same thing about BNB and it makes me sick. on: November 12, 2022, 09:09:17 PM
It makes me sick because BTC will suffer AGAIN later on for no reason when BNB eventually falls.
What is BNB?
Nothing but a market full of nothing but altcoins backed by air dust magic and dreams…
Who owns BNB?
A human being does. What if CZ makes a little whoopsie and it’s revealed the entire time he isn’t who he says he is, his intentions aren’t what he says they are, and the real P2P money dream found in BTC will suffer.
A LOT of people trusted Sam with hard earned dollars, and he’s just some kid inside who got rich and had his life turned into a little sandbox. Who says the human beings at Binance aren’t plagued by the same things that drive greed and risk driven behaviors?

I don't really understand what you mean with your statement that BNB is a market full o fnothing but altcoins backed by air, dust, magic and dreams. Do you mean that there are mostly shitcoins launched on the Binance Smart Chain? If that is the case then i probably agree with you. The reason for that are also quite simple. The BSC chain is the second most adopted blockchain after Ethereum but has way lower fees than it, which means it is way cheaper for creators of scam projects or stupid meme-coins to create and launch their project there.
That does not mean though that there are no good projects running on the BSC chain.
830  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: November 12, 2022, 05:45:39 PM
Bayer Leverkusen 2 - 0 VfB Stuttgart

Leverkusen got the third consecutive victory, they scored 2 goals and didn't concede any goal, they are improving a lot, I hope they don't come back and have a bad performance

I am pretty happy with that result, even though i am not a Leverkusen supporter. I just think that Bayern Leverkusen belongs among the top 4 clubs of Germany and it should be ranked way higher than they are at the moment. I also felt pretty bad a few weeks back when Gerardo Seoane had to leave the club. I always thought that he was a very calm but skillful coach and he also was pretty successful with Bayer in the last season, but they just did not have any luck in this one so far.
Xabi Alonso also is a very likeable person as far as i can tell so i am happy that Bayern is playing well now and that he is not under such big pressure anymore.
831  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is your lost from FTX collapse on: November 12, 2022, 05:42:05 PM
Due to huge crypto exchange FTX brankcupcy . what is your lost amount?

my one is 120$ and i got the a new message that "Not your keys , Not your crypto"

I personally did not use FTX for my trades at all, for that i use Pancakeswap, Uniswap or Kucoin if i am using a centralize exchange. Therefore i did not suffer any direct loss because of the whole drama around FTX. Of course i was indirectly affected by it, just like everyone else that is involved in the crypto space. My portfolio value has dropped again significantly even though i was already down more than 95% in comparison to it's ATH of may 2021. I have a medium amount of Kucoin shares on Kucoin itself because of the Kucoin bonus and also the whitelisting for sales and stuff but of course in theory the same thing that happened to FTX can happen to every other centralized exchange.
832  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: November 11, 2022, 09:30:00 PM
Truthfully I'm not surprised with the current 4-2 score in the Gladbach - Dortmund match. I was waiting for Gladbach to make big difficulties for Dortmund. I believe it was obvious from Dortmund's performance against Wolfsburg last week. There were significant weaknesses in defense and it looks like things have got worse in defense for them. This is the usual Dortmund though. I haven't seen them solving their problems in defense for like so many years. This is one of the biggest obstacles for them about their title run.

The game ended with 4-2 for Gladbach, which really is a surprising result for me, because even though Dortmund had also lost the match before this one but Gladbach is also not in a really good shape at the moment in general. I could only watch parts of that game today but it really seemed to be an exciting match to watch. Looking only at the stats it might look like it was a pretty lucky win for Gladbach because they only have an expected goals value of 2,53 while Dortmund has 3.35 but on the other hand Gladbach had like two or three more good chances right after the 4-2 to score their fifths or even sixth goal. So in the end the result is ok i think.
833  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Capital during sudden crashes on: November 11, 2022, 09:11:04 PM
Have observed in past that sudden crashes tend to be caused by FUD/over-reaction rather than anything substantial and the market eventually recovers.
In such times, capital can be handy as such opportunities are like finding gold on street.

In general i agree that a overall bear market or a sharp drop in prices like we are experiencing it now is a good opportunity to invest into projects that are usually already to expensive, at least for my standards. By that i mean projects like Ethereum, Polkadot, Cosmos and so on, projects that are already big and established. The big problem is that we just can not know yet if we are already at the bottom or if we are going down another 20% or even more from here on. I still think though that if you invest into good projects now, then this should definitely be a profitable move in the longterm, if you are holding the coins long enough.
834  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: November 11, 2022, 10:13:06 AM
The Union lost the Berlin truck. They lost the top spot on the table. And their performance has deteriorated. They did not win against Augsburg either. And like the previous season, we see Bayern Munich at the top of the table once again. However, Berlin is no longer in contention for the title. Because their defenders are not playing well. Now the coach of Berlin should apply a new strategy.

I would say that in the last few matchdays we have seen the "normal" performance level of Union Berlin. I mean it was pretty obvious for most people that Union will probably not be able to fight for the Bundesliga title until the end of the season. Before the season started i would have guessed that Union will finish the season somewhere between rank 6 and 10. So i just hope that their fans are not disappointed now and that they stay objective and supportive because if Union is reaching place 5 or 6 then it is still a great achievement.
Also the match against Augsburg was very entertaining to watch and Union was the better team. A win for them would have been absolutely possible.
835  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It’s time people just fully accept 90% of the NFT space is a rug/slow rug on: November 11, 2022, 10:08:26 AM
If you haven't accepted this and either exited the space or are working on finding the next big project; there is nothing I can do to help you.
Most of the time the utility is party pictures from an exotic island. Cocktails and all.

First of all i have to say that i agree with you. That being said i don't really think that this only applies to NFTs or that percentage wise NFT projects are shadier than other crypto projects. It is always the same with those hype cycles in the crypto space. First a project appears that does something new. May it be Defi, play2earn, privacy, metaverse or NFT. Then that project is extremely successful and makes it's team member but also it's early investors rich. Because of that a lot of people want to copy those success by starting a project that is similar. This goes on for a few months and at the end of the hype-cycle we see a lot of shit-projects appearing that were just created to make a quick buck without any work.
836  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: November 10, 2022, 09:19:34 PM
not only england announced their world cup squad today, but also the speculation in germany, belgium and france is now over and we will see the following players in qatar

I have to say by just going through the individual names i don't really see that the english national teams belongs to the top 4 or 5 strongest team of this upcoming world cup. I mean come on it is still a miracle to me how Harry Maguire is even a professional football player because his skills are so limited. I know he has a great mentality but that is just not enough.
The french national team seems very strong. The offense with Mbappe, Benzema, Coman, Nkunku, Griezmann and Dembele is probably the strongest of all teams. Germany has an extremely strong midfield section with Kimmich, Goreztka, Gündogan, Sane and Musiala but they don't really have an experienced striker. We will see.
837  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: crypto project early access on: November 10, 2022, 09:13:41 PM
Hello all. could anyone explain me what is early access in crypto projects which i have seen commonly in airdrop programs. in post case it is to "submit your email and join for early access"
what is this early access through airdrops and what are the benefits for airdrop hunters??? could anyone explain me? thank you.

Usually early access in regards to new and upcoming crypto projects means that you have the opportunity to invest into the project before the public launch of it's token. This means you can make your investment during the seed phase or during the private sale phase and there you get the tokens to a price that is usually quite a bit lower than the one in the public sale or for the listing of the project.
If they are saying early access in terms of airdrop then i would guess that they just want to have your e-mail address in order to send you spam mails or, even worse, to sell your address to other spam mail senders or scammers. So never given them your "real" mail address.
838  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: November 10, 2022, 11:51:44 AM
Dortmund is just having a bad season and they are not playing good football sometimes they can be consistent and most time they are inconsistent.
Champions League games will happen by February next year it cannot be the reason that one will lose match of today.
Dortmund might also not do better next year because in January open window it is obvious that many clubs will be coming for Billingham and he will likely leave the Dortmund team which will be a very big blow to them

I would even say that Dortmund has to many points at the moment given the performances that they have shown in a lot of games. Just look back at the beginning of the season. In the very first match against Bayer Leverkusen Dortmudn was definitely not the better team but managed to score a lucky win with 1-0 even though Leverkusen had way more better chances to score. In the second match day against Freiburg Dortmund was well deserved 0-1 down until the 77th minute before the goalkeeper of Freiburg made a huge mistake and brought Dortmund back into the game basically out of nowhere. I think Dortmund can be pretty happy with the amount of points that they are having.
839  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CRYPTO CRASH on: November 10, 2022, 11:43:53 AM
Today's move might take 1 month to achieve, but FUD makes it happen in a day

Binance and CZ really managed to bring down the whole crypto market with their antics. First they announce the sell-off of FTT token which they have a huge bag of. Of course this makes the whole market nervous if a multi-million Dollar sell off of one of the biggest crypto companies is announced. Then after that news brought down the price Binance announces that they want to acquire FTX. Now it seems like this would not happen because of legal issues.
So what we are now having is a huge dump in all crypto prices caused by a speculation of Binance that apparently did not even work out for them. Well done CZ and Binance. It will take a while to recover from that, even USDT is looking shaky at the moment.
840  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: November 09, 2022, 11:19:37 PM
Last year, Real Madrid won the final against Liverpool without any problems. They have been on the brink of being knocked out 3-4 times, but only against Liverpool have they not had any problems. I don't know how the proportions are now, Liverpool still have a strong team but can't find the right rhythm and the captain van Dijk has also been dropping stitches lately.

I don't really agree that Real Madrid was that dominant in the Champions League final against Liverpool last year. If i remember correctly then Liverpool had the first big chance to score a goal with Mane. Once Real madrid was in front though they managed to keep Liverpool away from the goal very well i have to admit.
Regarding the current shape of Liverpool: I think that Jürgen Klopp is an excellent trainer that really manages to bring out 100% of his players and that makes every player better. This also means though that as soon as those players are not able to bring their very best performance the team is just not good enough to compete against the very best teams in the world.
