881  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nfts are altcoins in pictures on: October 28, 2022, 09:34:24 AM
Nfts are altcoins in pictures format.
It obeys the rules of supply and demand.
NFTs seems more like Art.

Well obviously NFT's also follow the rule of supply and demand just like every other tradeable thing that exists in this world so this is nothing new. I am not sure though if they can be considered as an altcoin. It is definitely true that you need an altcoin blockchain in order to generate an NFT because Bitcoin itself simply does not have smart contract functionality and that is needed in order to mint NFT's. The thing with NFT's is, that they are unique and therefore they can serve many different purposes. They can represent ownership of digital land (maybe even real land and equity in the future?) and other stuff like access to certain events or sales or something.

Schalke's performance this season has been poor. They won only 1 out of 11 matches. Schalke's main weakness is their very weak defence. The defenders are not able to perform well. Schalke conceded 26 goals in 11 matches. If the defenders had performed well, Schalke would not have been at the bottom of the table. The Schalke management will definitely need to bring in a number of players in the winter transfer window. In particular, they must try to strengthen their defence. Schalke will not be able to get out of the relegation zone unless the defence is strengthened and their match tactics are not changed.

Schalke has very high debts that was also the reason why they could not really invest into new players after the last season even though they have managed to immediately get back into the Bundesliga again. They even had to let go a few of their most important players of last season. For example Ko Itakura played a very good season last year and was one of the reasons why Schalke had such a good defense, but they just did not have the money to sign him. Now he is playing for Borussia Mönchengladbach.
Because of that i think that many have expected that Schalke would have a difficult season this year, but they did not even manage to meet the lowest expectations so far.

Just simply want to start a discussion about Gempad. I am curious of what people think

Like the other guy already said it is hard to give an opinion about a project where we have zero information about. I also just did a little google search and it seems like the website of this project is gempad.app apparently. I took a quick look at the projects that were offered there and i have to say that i don't know any of those projects and there are also quite a lot meme-coins among them. For me meme-coins are useless shit-coins so i am not impressed by that portfolio.
That being said i am part of some other launchpads (DuckDao and Poolz) and there it is also pretty quiet at the moment. There are just not so many projects launching during a bear market.
884  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2022/23 | Group Stage on: October 27, 2022, 01:36:55 PM
I don't know what happens with Barcelona after this, I mean it is clear that they are not going to end up with something that is clearly profitable anymore, spending 100+ million in a single year to get players (and consider salaries + operational costs too) means that you need to win something huge, if you are not even going to next stage here, will they have a path to break even? Or is this season already a loss for them and only get worse? If thats the case then I do not know what to say because Xavi is a great manager in my mind, but the results do not show that to be fair and that makes me a little sad.

Well you forget to add that they have invested more than 120 Million € into new players despite the fact that they already had 1,3 Billion € of debts and that they had to sell club property for a few hundred Million € in order to eve be able to register some of those new players. For me that is totally irresponsible from the officials of FC Barcelona and i am kinda happy that they still have failed to qualify for the knockout stage of the Champions League.
They definitely miss out on a lot of money now that they have already planned with i would guess. So we will see what happens after this season, but knowing Barca they will probably sell more property and buy new players because they never learn until the club is finally out of order.
885  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bull started? on: October 27, 2022, 01:30:33 PM
Just of yesterday I have seen a strong move of the ethereum gaining about 10 percent from the previous price and I was triggered to know if the bull about to kick off.
What do you smells from it?

To be honest i don't see any sign of a real bull market coming at the moment. Yes of course that price pump of almost all cryptocurrencies that happened yesterday was pretty surprising to me as it came completely out of nowhere and with around 10% increase in price it was also a pretty big pump in my opinion. That being said we had this kind of breakouts a few times now already in the last few months and after that the prices always slowly but surely went down again to the level before that pump or even below that. So as long as we stay below the 1600$ mark per ETH i still think that this was just a small pump that will fade away soon again.
886  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: October 26, 2022, 09:19:43 PM
played at CAMP NOU against Bayern but Barca still made ZERO "shots on goal", this is a shocking statistic and I can't believe what I'm seeing. one thing I'm thankful for is I didn't make a bet for this match, it was a tough choice when I as a Barca fan had to watch them lose at home. the final result will definitely stay the same = 2-0

I was surprised that FC Barcelona was the pretty clear favorite for the bookmakers before the start of the match so i was tempted to bet some money on Bayern Munich especially after Inter Milan had won their game before and Barca was already knocked out of the champions League for sure even before the match against Bayern had even started. I did not place a bet on Bayern then because i thought that Bayern would also not show their best performance level because they already were qualified for the knockout stage.
Seems like Bayern is just the stronger team than Barca at the moment. At the beginning of the season it looked like Barca could be very close to the top teams again but the last few weeks have shown that this is not the case.
887  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: October 26, 2022, 07:40:18 PM
Inter has been qualified for the final group stage.
With this result, Barcelona is almost out and relegated to Europa League.

If i am not completely wrong then Barcelona is now out of the Champions League for sure because even if they win both games now against Bayern and Pilzen they can only reach the same amount of points as Inter if the Italians will lose against Bayern Munich on the next matchday. Even if that would be the case then it would still be Inter that would go through because they won the direct comparison against Barca.
That being said, at the moment Bayern is already ahead with 2 goals after only 35 minutes so i doubt that Barca will win this game and like i said even if they win it does not really matter anymore. It will be interesting to hear from Xavi after the match.

It’s just funny that he’s now deciding to leave Tottenham when he should have left a long time ago. It’s obvious that Antonio Conte style of play is affecting his performance. He’s not the Heung-Ming Son we used to know. Real Madrid is hunting for a striker and I think Son is comfortable at operating as both a left inside-forward and a centre-forward. Due to his versatility and finishing, the Korean is considered to be an ideal fit for Ancelotti's side. Without an doubt, he’s going to be a good addition to Real Madrid attack.

I also read about the rumors that Real Madrid is interested in signing Son for the next season but to be honest i doubt that this is true. Son is definitely a great player and he showed for the last few years now that he can compete on the highest level but usually Real Madrid is looking for the biggest superstars. There have been many rumors in the last few weeks that Real is already working on a deal to get Haaland in two year or so, when Benzemas contract is running out, because apparently Haaland has a clause in his contract that could make this signing possible. So with a possible Haaland transfer on the horizon i doubt that Son wants to join Real, if he only is the number one striker again after 1 season.

Manchester City are back against Dortmund which we know Manchester City are safe and they don't need any more points but this time it will be different but it's more interesting Dortmund is a slightly more dangerous opponent but I think I have hope for Manchester with @1.73 chances on the other side The hosts certainly need points but I think even if Dortmun loses tonight there is still hope in the next match to win.

I watched that game and even though it was a 0-0 in the end it was a pretty good match to watch in my opinion. Manchester City had a way higher ball possession than Dortmund but that was to be expected. Dortmund though had 3 or 4 pretty good chances to score a goal after counter attacks in the first half so Dortmund could have definitely scored at least one goal there.
In the second half Dortmund also started strong but after 10 Minutes or so they lost control over the game. Manchester City even got a penalty but Mahrez did not make that one. Overall i would say the draw is a fair result. ManCity was qualified for the knockout stage before the match anyway.
890  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: October 25, 2022, 01:00:44 PM
The performance of Sevilla are absolutely terrible this season in both the Uefa Champions League and the Spanish La Liga league. Even though Sevilla will have the advantage of playing this upcoming match against FC Copenhagen at their home stadium, but I think they might struggle to score goals against FC Copenhagen and it might ends up with a goalless draw at the final whistle.

As far as i know Sevilla has changed their coach before the last Champions League match against Borussia Dortmund. Also i have to say that the performance of Sevilla was absolutely solid in the match against Dortmund. Of course it was not really a masterpiece and it was also a pretty boring match overall but at least they managed to achieve a draw against Dortmund.
For me they are clearly the favorite against Copenhhagen today. First of all they play at home which is always a little advantage and secondly they simply are the stronger team in my opinion. If Sevilla wins today they will play in the Europa League after the world cup break and they really like to play in that competition.
891  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shitcoins and Memecoins on: October 25, 2022, 12:57:08 PM
Did you notice?
It is shitcoin season!!! Memecoins are not to be left behind!
What are Shitcoins?

First of all nice name OP. Regarding the topic of the thread. I don't think that it is shit-coin season and i really hope that there won't be another shit-coin season like the one we had a year ago again, because in my opinion it did hurt the crypto market as a whole and was also one of the main reasons why we are in this bear market now.
I also think that all meme-coins are shit-coins because as they don't offer any functionality and the only reason those projects were started was that the team members wanted to hop on the dogechain hype train and to earn some quick and dirty money that way. None of those meme-coins should exist.

Unai Emery aka ex Villarreal's manager since 2019/2020 already become Aston Villa's manager and the clause that Aston Villa need to pay is $6 Million. Unai Emery is a good manager since he can increase Villarreal position from 14th to 5th which is a good achievement. As Aston Villa right now currently at 15th position and almost in degradation zone, they need to increase their position in the safe zone.

Seems like Unai Emery still wants to prove that he can also be successful as a coach in England and that he is not done with the Premier League yet. In my opinion Emery is among the top 10 coaches in football at the moment and i also think that he was treated with a lot of disrespect during his first stay as a coach in England when he coached arsenal. A lot of people made fun of him just because his pronunciation of some english words sounded funny, but that does not mean that he is not able to coach the players properly. I think Aston Villa made a smart choice here to pick Emery as their trainer and i hope he can deliver.
893  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: APTOS FOR BEGINNERS on: October 25, 2022, 10:19:16 AM
The recent airdrop made a lot of people become more interested in the Aptos ecosystem

To be honest i also wanted to invest like 1000$ into Aptos a few days ago when the listings on the exchanges were happening but in the end i decided to not invest because i did a few minutes of research before. As you also mentioned in your post, Aptos has collected around 400 Million $ from big VC's like FTX, Binance and many others. That amount is just way to large for me, because this basically means the big exchanges keep advertising and pushing Aptos and once a certain price level is reached they will start to sell of their tokens with a massive profit and given the fact that they have invested 400 Million $ means they have way to many tokens now to dump.

Yeap. Beastcost did won a map on PSG and I didn't expect it but PSG made a comeback if we keep it real because BC could have won map 2 as well and it was all over for PSG at that point. However, teamfight execution from PSG was flawless and that's how they managed to win game 2 but also game 3. Shocked

Sadly PSG.LGD was not able to improve for their next match against Aster and therefore they have lost that matchup with 0-2 which was a pretty big surprise for me to be honest. My two big favorites to win this TI were Team Spirit and PSG.LGD for me. Spirit did not even survive the first round in the lower bracket and now LGD is also out pretty early for their standards. That was Faith_bian last match today which is also pretty sad. OG is also out already which means we will have a pretty surprising new TI champion this year which just shows how competitive the Dota pro scene is nowadays. Team Secret looks very strong so far in this tournament.
895  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: October 23, 2022, 05:37:49 PM
Dortmund were really impressive this week. Maybe their opponent wasn't a big team but Dortmund really needed a win like 5-0 to recover a little. They couldn't win for three weeks before this game. This pushed them to lower positions in the standings. But now they are only four points away from the leader. Union Berlin haven't played their game yet of course so we will see the final gap later.
Bayern Munich have started to play like in the past seasons finally after many weeks passed in the season. Doing this without a natural striker is a great job. I know that they have Choupo-Moting but I meant a striker like Lewandowski. I wonder if they will sign someone in January as well.

Well this week everything worked out for Borussia Dortmund they scored the first goal after 90 seconds or so and with such an early goal you get a lot of confidence and that is why they were able to win this game with 5-0 in the end. I just hope they stay with both feet on the ground now because after they have managed to achieve a draw against Bayern Munich a few weeks ago they celebrated like they have won the title.
Union Berlin has lost today, which was quite a big surprise to me because they played against Bochum which is on the last position of the Bundesliga table. This showed again that Union Berlin always needs to show their maximum performance level in order to be able to win.
896  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 23, 2022, 12:34:09 PM
It will not be very difficult for Real Madrid to get Bellingham if they wish to get him. It is not always a problem for Madrid to get any player they want before they have the money and again they cannot be seen as the biggest club in Europe which every player will like to play in for prestige and fame. Bellingham himself will be happy to play on the big stage of Madrid.

I am not so sure if Real Madrid really is the most desired club for Jude Bellingham. Yes Real has won the Champions League last year which was a really great achievement, but we also have to admit that they had a huge amount of luck to win that title. They were the weaker team in all 3 match-ups against Paris, Chelsea and also against Manchester City but they always managed to go through with very late goals.
So even though Real is probably the club with the biggest and most glorious history i don't think that it is the best club at the moment. I think ManCity, Liverpool and FC Bayern are stronger at the moment for example. Also Bellingham is english so i can imagine that he wants to play for an english club.
897  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin is due for a big break on: October 23, 2022, 12:27:12 PM
It's been undervalued and passed over by many pump and dumps over the years. It's a solid alt coin to use alongside Bitcoin.
Accepted more places than any other crypto, Litecoin is one of the few altcoins that I actually use.
It's low fee, fast confirmations and 2nd oldest crypto. Can't go wrong in my opinion.

I don't know if Litecoin is really due for a massive pump. I agree though that it is a big and established project that is not just another stupid meme-coin and that it has an actual use case. That being said, if you compare litecoin to projects like Ethereum, Solana or Cosmos then it is also pretty obvious that the use-cases of Litecoin are pretty limited. You can send end receive and that is pretty much it. There is no smart contract functionality which means all of the big topics of the last 2 years like Defi and NFT's are not possible with Litecoin. I still think though that it should be valued higher than any of those stupid meme-coins.
898  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: October 22, 2022, 11:58:14 PM
Hoffenheim really disappointed me with their very poor performance. They were one of the top teams in the standings but we didn't see a proper performance in offense from them at all. This was no different than the ineffectiveness level of Freiburg against Bayern Munich. Hoffenheim also had the same problems against them.

To be fair though they played pretty aggressively in the first 15 minutes or so where they attacked the defenders of Bayern very early almost at their own box. After that period though Bayern was able to get more and more control over the game and then once they were 2-0 up it looked like a pretty relaxed game for the Bayern players because Hoffenheim could not really put Bayern under pressure at all in the second half. I would not be so hard to Hoffenheim i mean yes they are ranked prtty high at the moment in the Bundesliga table but they were playing against Bayern Munich so i would say a 0-2 loss is of course bad for them, but not a total disaster.
899  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you be influenced by your favourite celebrity? on: October 22, 2022, 02:28:22 PM
Would you be influenced by your favourite Celebrity who you know gambles and one day happens to post the games he played, would you be influenced to play the same game?
I am bringing up this because a popular Canadian musician Drake posted the games he played today on Stake,

As far as i know FC Barcelona even was wearing the logo of Drake on their jerseys during that game against Real Madrid. So that was definitely a coordinated marketing action of Barcelona, Stake and Drake because drake is also advertising for stake. Well in the end it was a pretty bad suggestion from Drake because Barca have lost that match.
To answer your first question: No i would never be influenced because some celebrity showed their bets or something. The main reason for that is that i am an adult and i know that this are just marketing actions and not genuine bets placed by them. Also i don't really have a favorite celebrity. I don't care about celebrities and i thinkt that people that are totally admiring some celebrity pretty cringy to be honest.
900  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are privacy coins already dying on: October 22, 2022, 02:16:35 PM
I haven't heard any good news about privacy coins this days, it seems that people are losing interest in privacy coins because of regulation? Also privacy coins have bad performance compared to other altcoins, what is going on? Can privacy coins survive on the long run?

I personally don't think that privacy coins will die. Yes of course they have suffered some heavy losses in the last few months or maybe even years but this is just the typical behaviour of the crypto market. The whole crypto scene is still based very much about hype and trends and therefore stuff like Defi, NFT's, Play2Earn and Metaverse were just way more present in the last 2 years than privacy focused projects, but this can change again in the future. At the moment almost every type of crypto project is having a hard time because we are in a full bear market now for at least 1 year now but in the future i am sure that privacy coins will also rise again.
