1. SECURITY: a. IRONCLAD wallet developed and tested by our technicians, removing any possibility of hacking or theft
Impossible. Sorry. combining the characteristics of a cold wallet with the agility of a hot wallet. This is possible, because our system is designed to access our servers offline in real time.
How does one access a "server offline in real time"? These wallets require the multiple signature public key provided by the client to function. IBB London doesn't have all the private keys from these wallets. When a Bitcoin transaction is received in an IRONCLAD, IBB London sends the Bitcoin transaction (RAW TX) to the customer signed by all private keys in the Bank’s possession, so that the client if he chooses, only has to sign with his private key whenever and wherever he wants to and can transfer his Bitcoins to the Bitcoin recovery address that he has provided. In this way, and in all cases, the customer has control of his Bitcoin even if IBB London bank is not operating.
Why would one use your bank then, and not simply set this up himself? We currently have tools that allow us to setup multisig addresses in secure offline environments and spread the keys physically through several locations. That's basically what you're offering. d. All details of the wallets are stored in servers offline without connection to the internet or to the local network. e. All data or a personal nature relating to our clients, are stored on other highly secure servers offline, to protect them from identity theft, leaks, etc.
Why should we trust you?
To summarize, you seem to be offering a Bitcoin bank service (which in itself defeats the purpose of Bitcoin) using a system that can be setup with zero cost by the user itself without the aid of a third party and you're saying that you're invulnerable to theft/hacking (!!!).
Similiar services exist and the convenience (or apparent convenience) that they provide isn't of use to a user that uses Bitcoin like it was made to be used.

Although I'd very much prefer they wouldn't even talk about Bitcoin and/or regulate it in any way, I have to admit the EU is having quite the attitude towards Bitcoin. At least they're not rushing to shut it down right now, which is very, very good.
Maybe because they simply cant do it; sometimes the calm is a sign of a heavy storm, maybe that's the reason about why they are so quiet. thank you about the link i will take a look at the video, but i don't expect "big steps". The fact that they cannot shutdown Bitcoin doesn't mean they can't make it look bad and cripple merchant acceptance. If the EU suddenly said we cannot use Bitcoin and that stores in Europe using it will be fined, do you think the store next door would accept Bitcoin? Only if they were foolish, too brave, too unknown/out of the map or not complying with EU regulations to begin with and having nothing to lose.

I've got pretty fast internet (75mbps) and despite this rescanning the blockchain is taking hours. Any fix for this?
Is your app updated? Rescanning time shouldn't take that long with the most recent versions (it never took me that much with any version, but the most recent ones improved sync time). If it is, maybe try to reinstall it. How many addresses do you have? The more you have, the more it takes to rescan... I've sent and received quite a lot so too many addresses could be the case. Any way I can reset it without deleting the wallet? That's probably your answer. I've already changed seed once, because my previous one was getting quite crowded and taking a lot of time to resumo scanning from the last point. I don't know if there is a way to prevent this issue in such an app. You can reset your wallet by starting with another seed on the settings menu. Do not forget to backup your seed first.

Generally, lots of discussion whether this disruptive technology should be regulated.
There was an American saying that the ecosystem self-regulates itself. There's an English gent wanting regulation focusing mostly on preventing financial crimes. There was also what looks like a transvestite (not judging) giving good insight on the blockchain, and its transparency indicating how cash is more apt for money laundering and terrorism than digital currency. One person asked if it's possible to confiscate digital currencies in case of money laundering, answered by what seemed to be a Portuguese speaker whom spoke in his native language. French woman addressed financial transparency and how blockchain adoption would serves as a tool vs. obscurity for centralized systems.
Overall, the consensus thus far seems to be on the fence (sit and watch).
Thank you. Good that they're having a sit and watch attitude... That's what I expect from them for years to come. Hope the Portuguese guy didn't say anything wrong. Bank of Portugal already spread FUD on the country saying if you use Bitcoin = you're more prone to scams or doing illegal stuff. And pretty funny seeing someone from France talking nicely about Bitcoin, they're the ones who apparently kept questioning Bitcoin pseudo-anonymous nature. I watched it. It seemed to me they are very smart about it and don't want to rush heavy regulations as the technology is in infancy and a lot of good can come out of it and besides there is already controls and laws about the negative sides of it.
Although I'd very much prefer they wouldn't even talk about Bitcoin and/or regulate it in any way, I have to admit the EU is having quite the attitude towards Bitcoin. At least they're not rushing to shut it down right now, which is very, very good.

What happen to the strict implementation of western union of their KYC - know your customer policy, Can you read? The man, using the false Samir Bouzid identification card at a Western Union outlet This is the point exactly: they didn't knew who their customer was... Does Western Union have the authority to access the government system to verify a identification card? Not sure but I don't think that it can happen. It's probably more the opposite, the government can search WU's clients ID's. At least that's what those laws are for... Looks like something failed halfway through with those laws in this case.

To ask my question in another way: How to recover Bread funds if whatever happens to you
If the developer ceases to support the app you'll still have it on your device, working. To recover the coins, import your passphrase in MultiBit HD or Apple for whatever reason pulls your wallet from the App store? You get the idea.
If Apple pulls the app, the same thing happens: you will still have it on your device until you uninstall it. Either way you'll have plenty of time to recover your coins in whatever situation. Don't forget to keep your seed stored somewhere. Just curious, does bread run through multibit? Or is multibit just capable of recovering any type of wallet with the correct seed? I never ran multibit before, but if this is the case I might have to download it just in case. What do you mean with run through? Both are apps on their own Multibit is capable of recovering breadwallet seeds. For reference, here's a wallet compatibility matrix.
