981  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: one mistake that crypto beginners should be aware of ? on: March 31, 2023, 12:45:29 PM
You can't expect too much on a cryptocurrency beginners. It's normal to make mistakes and learn from them. You can't grow if you will not commit any mistakes in your life, and it can't be avoided. Newbies tend to buy random shitcoins because it's cheap and will sell it to an unknown exchange because it's listed there, the ending, they lose all their coins.

Not all of them do have time to do some research because they can't contain their excitement to finally make profits in cryptocurrency.
982  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your honest review of the Demo account? on: March 31, 2023, 12:01:33 PM
Well, demo account's purpose is to show newbie traders how trading works, it's interface, and the functions of those. But yes, using only demo account will not help you grow as a trader, because you don't care about what's gonna happen next since you don't have anything to lose. The real experience could only be gain in the real account, because you have to be more serious and wise every time you're gonna enter a trade to gain profits.

Real emotions as well could be gain in real trading account, it is where all the challenges begins. You'll realize what you need to improve in order to be more profitable and avoid mistakes.
983  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What your opinion? on: March 30, 2023, 02:55:24 PM
I really was having this question in mind to ask if it will advisable for somebody who want to start up trying doing online investment and chooses trade as perfect for him or her. What will be your advice for such person as a beginner into online Invertement. I want to hear your opinions if it right or wrong despite it risk,so what your opinion or advise .

Buying bitcoin and hodl it is not trading, if that's what you mean of online investment. Trading is not a good "investment" for newbies to be honest, unless you're gonna do spot trading, like buy low and sell high, of course you have to do some research as well to avoid buying shitcoins that will just make you cry when it got dump by its dev. But in the end, it still depends on your choices, if I were you I'll just buy Bitcoin and hodl it 'till new All Time High comes again.
984  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Early Profit can be misleading. on: March 30, 2023, 12:34:36 PM
I don't think so.

It depends maybe, because if a newbie trader is making profits, there's nothing wrong thinking as if he cracked the code in trading. Earning profits is the reason why we are trading, so technically speaking, you're doing good if you're making profits most of the time. Though the growing part is still depends on the trader, because he could get bigger profits if he is going to keep on studying and learning different approach in order to get bigger profits.

But earning profits most of the time is not a bad thing as a newbie trader.
985  Economy / Gambling / Re: How succesful will AI projects be to win the house? on: March 29, 2023, 03:14:28 PM
In the long run, you can not win the house. The chance you can be lucky and win big to become rich will always be less than 1% while in long time, the house will always be the winner.

Just as it has been advised several times, gamble for just fun.

You cannot really win against the house because the moment you decided to gamble, they already got what they want from you. You can win several times, may it be a small or huge amount, but regardless, the casino already profited from you and the other players. After all, they are a business that needs to earn profit at the expense of others. The RTP of the casino and the odds given on your account will play a role on how frequent and how big you will win.

AI can be a basis of your bet, but it won't really beat the house. Consistent winning with failproof method doesn't exist since there's only a certain extent where you can win big then the rest of the bets will just balance your previous wins out.
986  Economy / Gambling / Re: How to use crypto to miximize profits through sport betting. on: March 29, 2023, 02:39:09 PM
You can maximize your profits when betting if you can get reliable sources of information that can provide the data you need. But if not, it will not work optimally because your analysis will depend on the sources of information that you can get.

Crypto has now become a valuable investment for people and is also used as a tool for placing bets. And many people benefit from crypto as an investment and a means of payment in casinos. So maybe @OP needs to explain in more detail what he means.

Knowledge and information is essential if you want to maximize your profit through sports betting. If you can gather enough information about the volatility of the crypto you want to use, you can use that to your advantage. You can withdraw your winnings and exchange it to another coin for easier exchange rate monitoring or just actually wait for the right time to maximize the value of your funds at hand.

You can also try to play variety of sports betting where you can find out which one is suitable for you and which one you like the best and finds easy to comprehend and predict an outcome favorable to your bet. But of course, still put limitations on yourself because anything too much is still harmful. It could lead you to addiction if you won't set boundaries for yourself which could create chain of repercussions.
987  Economy / Gambling / Re: Researching for Upcoming Game on: March 29, 2023, 02:04:56 PM
Well, here it is considered that a player should always review that, but I never do it, for me it is something that I do not do because I am lazy to read, it is that there are many things and it is very long, but I am in a country that it can be banned, in my country of origin it was obvious a ban, that's what I'm afraid of, the terms and conditions are things that must be read for the bonuses, the bonuses if I read their terms and conditions because almost all the bonuses are the same , I see no difference in almost any, they all ask for the same requirement.
But at least you can read reviews from members here so you don't choose the wrong casino. Without researching a casino, we cannot gamble comfortably, especially if we choose the wrong casino, because it can cause us to experience fraud or other bad things. Moreover, the terms and conditions of each casino are different, so like it or not, we have to make sure what the rules are for each casino. It is important to be able to choose the casino. And bonuses in almost every casino are always there, only what's different are the terms and conditions, so if we don't know anything about the terms, we won't be able to get them unless our goal is to play gambling just for fun.

The reviews are always good, but believe in the reviews of the members of the forum who are recognized, I have seen many who enter the forum and give their reviews but they are biased, it is not to discriminate but most of the time they are newbies and they aim to make a review thread where they show themselves as experts and give their opinion, it's a kind of shilling, but the bad thing is that if it is read by a newbie it can confuse you, that's why here in the forum reputation is very important and if a casino loses it, it is very difficult to recover it, it is almost impossible, but everything is within the possibilities.

Valid point.

Most of the time, there are newbies who post with so much recognition on certain casino website. They praise and applaud a specific casino so much because they are paid or sponsored to do so. Hence, if you are not very much keen in distinguishing which one is biased and which one is not, you'll fall from their schemes of gathering players by giving positive feedbacks that are not really their personal view to begin with.

It's really much better to just trust those members who are recognized in the forum for crucial information about gambling. But of course, you still have to do your very own background research to see for yourself whether the information provided are all factual or not. Since it is your responsibility to safeguard your fund and it's not really the job of other people to look after you and the moment you bet and play.
988  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: March 29, 2023, 01:30:33 PM
Regards to gambling, there's no doubt that human intelligence is still the best thing to rely on.

You can't just ask an AI that haven't gambled yet but soon we might see these developers start to include that with AI activities and they'll gamble on their own.

As you've mentioned, it's still learning and soon everything we do including gambling, they'll also have time to cover that with whatever is gonna be asked on them. We'll never know if that time comes, it could be scary or not.

Well, you're right, I don't know how advanced the AI is with respect to predictions, but it's a matter of time before they can do something with more reliability,I don't know if they can achieve precision, but it's very difficult for them to manage it, but it's as you say, if they achieve something like that, it might be scary because an AI could not only predict bets in casinos, it could be used to predict events, or even the fate of many people with the data provided, this is something that can happen, but for now it is very far from achieving it,at the moment trusting an AI for these things is not good,it would be very feasible to lose money.

It is very risky to entrust your luck through AI. The predictions made by AI on gambling refer to a lot of data and several influencing factors. For example, in a match, Ai can make predictions by reading team data, weather, and other data, so some predictions will be given what could happen. But it won't be accurate enough, it's just a prediction made by an AI robot. and predictions can only be made on sports gambling that refers to a lot of data, and not on other gambling games. You need to remember again, relying on AI will only provide new risks, every gamble has an element of luck and everyone has it so no technology can predict luck.

Of course, obviously things with AI are like this, the data collected will never be the good option to decipher what can happen, also there are many things that influence sports games, who are the ones that motivate players to play like this, what It caught my attention, it was in the World Cup in Qatar where an AI predicted that the final would be between Portugal and Argentina, it was something really chilling because the one who won the mjudnial was Argentina, although the AI was wrong for the contender from Argentina, but It seems to me that it was just a coincidence, I know that the AI quickly pulls the statistics and that is a very good functionality.

AI isn't mistake proof. It doesn't necessarily mean you will guarantee a winning the moment you use AI for predicting the outcome of the game. Sometimes, AI also encounter error because of lack of information which needs to be updated to calculate the result of the match.

This is why we shouldn't really rely fully on AI without verifying its results. We can use the predicted outcome as a basis, but not really as it is without conducting in depth research about the match, the team, and its players especially in sports betting.
989  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can a casino ever run without the government's awareness? on: March 29, 2023, 08:39:08 AM
While it's not impossible, the question remains about the level of success. The concern is that once a decentralized casino becomes more popular, it will attract the attention of the government. If they discover that the casino is operating without a license, they could easily shut it down. Even if you try to explain that it's a decentralized casino, the government may not care and will enforce their rules.

This makes sense.

Decentralized casinos could possibly attract a lot of attention because of the absence of KYC. The moment it becomes popular, there's a high chance that the casino will also attract the attention of the government officials in checking and monitoring their operations. It is possible that the state will ask them to register their business in order to operate. Otherwise, it could be banned from operating because of disobedience and lack of documents passed. The sustainability will be questionable too.
990  Economy / Gambling / Re: No bet is a waste on: March 28, 2023, 03:39:24 PM
Then what makes it gambling is that your favourite team or your favourite fighter does not always win. What makes it gambling is when 1.38 odds refused to play and 14 odds play.
But a gambler who gambles based on their selection of favourite team or fighter would make a bad gambling. You need to check the form, the emotion and conditions of your favourite before you employ them in your betting slip.
Technical, I high level risk bet without research can be regarded as a waste.
It's true not all favorite team or fighter will always win and that's why don't force to bet on every match, just focus to analysis on the fight where the underdog is high likely will win since they're capable to beat the favorite side. A clever bettor will be selective to bet on an underdog, of he bet on favorite team or fighter more than one match aka parlay bet. If you bet on favorite team or fighter, you don't need any research, do you think the @Op make a research?

Well, it doesn't necessarily mean that you bet on your favorite team, then you're guaranteed a win. It doesn't work that way. You need to take into consideration many factors such as the updated status of the team of your choice and its players. Because you don't want to just waste and lose money over uncalculated risk. Emotions shouldn't be in your way in making decisions to oversee all the possible angles and situation where they could win or lose.

Analysis of the previous fights especially the most recent ones is needed in order to tell whether if it is still worth the bet or not. Research is crucial whether you are going to bet on your favorite team or other teams to ensure your percentage in winning. It will be stupid if you'll be impulsive because of over confidence.
991  Economy / Gambling / Re: What else should an established crypto casino add? on: March 28, 2023, 02:47:19 PM
We all want to bet in a casino where we easily get bonuses whether we are winning or losing. This is one of the best things every gamblers want to be seeing in the casino they are using to make bets. We all to keep winning not minding if want we are doing can give us a good profit or not. That is the fate of a gambler to always winning not minding when the bad day would come.

many people don't care about their losing in particular platform of Casino but what they are interested of is getting the bonus because I think that the data bonus is like what give them their encouragement to keep on trying because the bonus is free so that is why many people like to patronize a platform that gives bonus

Most people love bonus because from the word itself, it's a thing given mostly for hitting certain condition set. Sometimes, it's even given for free especially for the newbies who are newly signed up to the casino website. Most sites are generous enough to give welcome bonus to encourage the players to play and deposit. It's proven effective by numerous casinos which is why they offer it for the players to wager and then let them be hooked up on playing the variety of games.

Of course, this is all part of their marketing and promotional campaigns that will benefit the casino itself. They'll be needing funding for promotions such as bonuses but the profit will be evident as well. Hence, it's still a win situation on the side of the house.
992  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Random Number Generator and it's importance in Online Casinos on: March 28, 2023, 02:04:05 PM
The Random Number Generators has helped online casinos to maintain their credibility because of its principle of fairness. Initially when I knew nothing about how the outcomes of games come about, I used to think that the outcome are controlled by the casino operator, not until I read in one of those online blogs and discovered that the outcomes is  totally random.
But on the second thought, I can't totally trust that the outcome numbers are not controlled because a lot of rogue casinos exists and friend ones told me a sad encountered he had with one of them. He ended up leaving a bad review for them.

I agree with this.

RNG makes the casino more trustworthy. When a casino has a reputable RNG provider for their luck based games, players are more enticed to play because they are somewhat assured that the outcome of the game isn't biased or doom to lose for the casino's profit sake. Of course, no player wants to play on a website that will just rip them off. Hence, having this will help a player decide whether it's worth the shot to try to play on the casino due to their credible and reliable RNG system or choose other possible options that they deem suitable for their preference.

Although there are fake websites that claim that they have an RNG provider when in fact they don't or if ever they truly do, they were also the ones handling the program for their advantage. And I can't really blame players for doubting since there are a lot of scam websites circulating online. Hence, everyone must be wary of the legitimate and reputable, to the copy cats and scam sites.
993  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can a casino ever run without the government's awareness? on: March 28, 2023, 01:30:56 PM
It is possible. However, the question is if it will be sustainable for the long run, not just in the beginning. Establishing a business in general is   risky and requires a lot of effort. It is a tedious task that needs to be looked upon every now and then to monitor the process from the conceptualization to the implementation. Running a business usually requires permit and other documents to legally operate. While it is possible to make a casino that is decentralized in nature, just how bitcoin started, due to multiple cases on scams and schemes will make it difficult for people to trust a website that just happen to appear out of nowhere, not listed in any license operators and isn't at the reach of the government for monitoring purposes.

It could be a good idea especially for those people who aren't fond of the KYC process, however, trust issues will arise from lack of documents and proof of legitimacy. But the moment you establish the name and reputation of the casino, it will just all fall into place. Only that it will be a long journey for a casino website to be acknowledged as reputable and worth trying.
994  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Skill Based Slot Machines on: March 28, 2023, 12:55:23 PM
This idea is entirely new for me. All of the slot games I know of are all based on luck. This is why you don't have to think thoroughly when playing it which makes ot popular among most players who don't like to complicate things and to think deeply. Although I'm really wondering how this will work and if it will be sustainable in the long run because of course, the edge will still be in favor of the house. Perhaps the skills will take part on how the player will play to determine the winning combinations and the like.
995  Economy / Gambling / Re: What else should an established crypto casino add? on: March 27, 2023, 01:08:04 PM
I'm not saying it's fighting money laundering, it's just that casinos are always vigilant in that case and we do know that online casinos are not the best destination, but who knows if someone is doing that in one of the casinos?
It is indeed very rare that someone gambles using money laundered from money laundering but casino vigilance is always at the forefront for the future of the casino itself.
If that happens, of course, casinos will be threatened with closing by certain countries because of accusations such as covering up evil acts of money laundering in their casinos.
From this case the casino imposed KYC on every customer who deposited large funds at one of the casinos to verify the source of customer funds.
The criminal who want to laundry his money isn't have any intention to gamble on the casino, but he just want to meet the minimum wagering amount in order to withdraw without get flagged by the system.

KYC isn't the best solution to fight money laundering, but it's add another barrier in order the criminal will be harder to escape and hide his identity. The only way the casino to fight money laundering is confiscate the funds and terminate the account without anyway to recover it, but most people will call the casino is scam.

KYC could prevent money laundering in any platform, not only in casino because with this, the transactions of each account holder could be monitored and reviewed, especially the moment the system flag something suspicious and unusual on the account. The system can easily pinpoint the account which has in and out transactions amounting to big amount that could possibly an act of money laundering.

While it cannot really fully eliminate and hinder money laundering acts, it could definitely lessen the occurrence. Once the account is found and proven to be doing something against the TOS, the casino can suspend, permanently ban, and confiscate the fund without ever returning it as a punishment for the fraudulent activities done.
996  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting strategy question on: March 25, 2023, 04:11:08 PM

Never think about cheating at gambling because it will turn on us. And our losses can be much more than what we get through that cheating. And even though we lost a few dollars on the game but didn't cheat, the loss wouldn't be big because if the casinos found out about what we were cheating, they could just block our accounts. And don't ever chase or recover losses we've earned because that will be difficult. It's better for us to play as usual and enjoy gambling.

This should be a common knowledge.

Players shouldn't really try to cheat in any form just so they could take advantage of the casinos benefit whether if it's a vulnerability or not. But of course, not everyone has the same moral compass so we could only remind them about the repercussions of cheating.

Cheating on a casino or any gambling platforms is considered a grave offense. Most of the time this is already stated in their TOS and the punishment is will depend on what they deem necessary such as suspension of banning of the account. In an instance it is proven that a player cheated, they can no longer access their account nor make any transaction on it to recover what's left. Hence, it should be an enough warning to everyone.
997  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the biggest problem you think AI can fix in gambling on: March 25, 2023, 02:59:15 PM
If I am not wrong even an offline casino introduced something called face recognition which finds behaviour of all the gamblers of table and alerts when someone is cheating like making set-up, giving hits with sign language, counting cards, etc.

Still AI technology is in the infant stage so we can't be sure about their accuracy over handling of anything related to abusing their ToS, what if there is some glitch in the system so AI blocked some valuable customers of casino which will ruin the reputation as well as revenue generation. So as of now it can be used to assist but it shouldn't be given the authority of making any decisions so the human can cross check and make final decisions.

Now that you've mentioned this, it made me think too. If there would be AI cameras installed in physical casinos, most probably the cheating issues could be resolved and monitored closely without the help of staff lurking around the premises that could bother the other players. Although we can't really say for sure if there wouldn't be error on the reading of the AI but it could be a great start to remove the interest of those people who want to cheat the other players or the casino itself.

However, I'm still a firm believer that AI shouldn't be the sole reliance for every instance. Human intervention is still needed even from afar. So, maybe incorporating AI tech with better security will suffice.
998  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are Casino Sites Cheating Us? on: March 25, 2023, 01:45:12 PM
It's their RTP, your skills, knowledge, and luck combined that make the difference in winning and losing for every bet you've made. You are playing against the house and most likely, the rules will be in favor of the house to have their profit as well. They'll just give a reasonable percentage or rate of winning and then it will be all up to it and your capabilities whether you will win or not.

There are already provably fair games which makes it known that the game isn't rigged so if you want to know for sure, you can try gambling sites that offer that for your peace of mind. Sometimes, casinos randomly adjust the odds of an account too, so it'll be a matter of winning against the odds given to you.
999  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Taught Me To Dare to Dream on: March 25, 2023, 12:08:55 PM
Same here.

Bitcoin helps me a lot since when I'm still in college struggling about my studies, because for me it's just a waste of time for having a degree where my life is being judge by grades, which doesn't make any sense because for me success cannot be only obtain when you have a degree but on how smart are you when it comes on earning money.

So I dropped out on college and focus on earning and learning about cryptocurrency. I could I am happy and much more alive in my new path.
1000  Economy / Economics / Re: Lending money or damaging family bond ? on: March 25, 2023, 10:00:59 AM
You made the right decision.

Never ever lend them money especially if you know they are irresponsible people. If he didn't talk to you just because you never lend him money, means he is toxic enough to not have a very much of understanding. That's the toxic trait of most people I guess, they think your money is only for their wants and needs, they never think of like you're saving it for your own good, or your money is already been decided where to spend on to.

I do have a lot of relatives like that, and I don't even care if they hate me or whatever. My life is completely happy even with a lot of haters. Don't let them affect your life, be happy.
