Now with Nadal at the semi-finals, after he knocked out Argentine Diego Schwartzman, by 3 sets to one, while Novak overcame the obstacle of Italian Matthew Bertini with the same result.
Tomorrow's match is going to be number 58 that brings the two players against each other and that's considered as a record, and each of them hopes to reach the final, to take another step closer to the Swiss Roger Federer's number, the most players to reach the final in the Grand Slam tournaments (31 times). Nadal and Djokovic are behind Federer, on this list, 28 times.
Nadal is always going to be the favourite for the win tomorrow and the tournament all along winning it makes him getting 14titles in the French open and 21 Grand Slam wins that going to make him get past Federer in that record.

Nadal is a big favorite in this match like always,even tho im a djokovic fan and im rooting for him i think this will be a really tough match if Novak is at his best.But to beat nadal at clay you need all the dices to play out the way they are suppost too.It will be a really good match looking forward to watching it tommorow.Hopefully they make it intresting.

Yes i agree with you i think we will see a final between tsitsipas and nadal since they both are in a big form and they proved it against though opponents djokovic need to be 100% in order to win if he play poorely like he did against musseti and berretini he can lose 3 0.

On paper the semi final of Nadal vs Djokovic is interesting and could go all the way but it could also be a one sided match (as the final of last yeear).

Both Stepanos and Rafa are the clear favorite to win their respective matches today.

And I do hope that they are going to be the one contesting for this title this year. Wanted to see how Tsitsipas will fare against the greatest clay court players we have. If ever Tsitsipas and Nadal faces in this year Roland Garros, I think Nadal will still be the favourite to win again. Nothing against Tsitsipas he is one of the rising star of the next generation of players, but Nadal is still playing high level in the last clay court tournaments.

He might give a scare, but Nadal will still prevail I reckon. But before we talk about that, we have to wait and see if they are going to win in the semis.

Also it’s quite possible that these two may stretch the match till the 4 sets, but then there’s also a possibility of Nadal winning it without the need of the 4th set.

it is true that Nadal is better at clay, but Djokovic is rarely in situation to lose match 3:0, this could be the one, but I do not think that is going to happen today

it is a motivation time, Nadal has a lot to lose, while Djokovic can only win today, and that could make the difference today, I expect 1:1 after two sets, and than who takes third to win the match

That's a pretty logical and not very surprising prediction as Nadal is still the king of clay and playing at his favorite tournament. When both players Djokovic and Nadal reach their normal performance level, then Nadal should go through. Maybe he will lose a set to djokovic (my guess would be either the first or second set) but in the end he should advance if he does not get an injury.

Yes, the mutual scores are in favor of nadal, which is only an even more important aspect here is that it is played on clay. If the match were played at Wimbledon or the US open, it would be more even. On clay, Nadal is normally just too good, also for Djokovic. But you never know, Djokovic is of course also a very good player and will want to win Paris one day again.

It could be because the bookies saw their meeting record Tsitsipas lead 5-2.
In clay season this year both had pretty good results getting one title each so as you mentioned it should be an open match where both have the same chance to win and advance to the final.

Yes, and Tsitsipas won the Lyon Open tournament last May and has been in the finals in his last 2 or 3 clay court tournaments. So I guess book makers thinks that Tsitsipas will be the overwhelming favourite and basing on the tournament itself, how many sets did he lost before reaching the semis? He has been winning 3 or 4 matches and ripping opponents, just like what Rafa has done as well.

My money is on over games and Zverev +5.5. Tsitsi is favourite but I feel like this one will go the distance.

In other match i have simple Nadal win, really can't say if it will be easy or 5 setter but I feel like Nadal has the edge to win this.

Not looking well for my bet.  Did not watch first set bet Zverev is playing like he is afraid to hit forehand. Had so many chances to attack shorter balls and did not take them. Hopefully he will throw caution to the wind and start hitting after he looses second set as well.

Yes, it seems that when Tsitsipas broke him early, it's done for him, losing the first 2 set.

Although he can go up ahead 3-1 in the third set, he seems to be timid with his forehand so Tsitsipas takes advantage of it and becoming the aggressor in this game.

So let's see, obviously, third set is crucial for him to win if he wanted to stay in the match.

Odds at sportsbooks are currently pretty high for a Nadal victory. @1.40 on Stake while it's @3.05 for a win of Djokovic. I think it's too high, and there is some value in odds for Nadal. Currently the temperatures are very warm in Paris (27°C) with a very weak wind, I think it would be an edge for Nadal who comes from Mallorca in Balearic Islands (Spain). Heat doesn't disturb him, it advantages him. I placed 1 mBTC(0.001 BTC) @1.40 on his victory.

I think in tvis tournament tsitsipas was better ive seen the game and the first two sets was not good for zverev but after that he managed to comeback but unfortunatly it was not enough i bet on tstsipas win and i was not happy in the third and fourth sets.

Djokovic was the better player for last 2 hours but now it seems that momentum has started to change back in Nadal favor, Nadal just took the break back and equalized on 5:5 in 2nd set. Should be able to ride the momentum and clinch this 3rd set and then the match.
