Ben Simmons to ANY team is an unimportant information at this point. He is gone and he is not really "in the league" anymore, he is just moving around and soon he will be out completely as well. We are just facing a guy who was once thought to be something and became nothing in the end.

If we deal with it, then we can't see the reality, sure you may have liked him, some even said he would become next Lebron James should not be all that complicated for him to just be a bust.

However, things are not that shocking when he is not going to focus on changing for the time being. We need to realize this is going to be not that weird for him to go Boston, because there he will not be any importance and then they will get a lot minutes and then he will leave too.

I don’t think AD and Kyrie can both stay healthy the whole season, but I think it is possible for them to be healthy to start the playoffs and make some noise. They have both been healthy for a season before so we’ll see. Maybe they have gotten wiser with old age or maybe they’ve worked out all the bugs now. I’m just happy to see them play together.

I think it will be enough for the Mavs if Davis and Irving play in at least half of the regular season games, and as you said, are healthy for the playoffs. In fact, the rest of the Mavs players need to perform well enough for their team to at least make the play-in tournament.

They can use the load management thing on Kyrie and AD so that they can make sure that they are available on their important games.

If they can't manage well the situation and Dallas management would let AD and Kyrie play for many games then provably that they might get a problem on playoffs. Their current roster rotation now is promising and if they can make these guys healthy there's a good chance for their team to go to finals again.

Just when you think LaMelo Ball can’t get a stranger, the guy goes out and tattoos his toes to be like hot Cheetos… I thought it was a Centel post at first but it appears dude really side tattoo his toes red with flames coming off of them. He’s not going to have any naked skin left at the rate he’s drawing all over his body.

Its part of his identity and philosopy that's why he choose to have that.

But some of his fans didn't really like it https://fadeawayworld.net/nba/charlotte-hornets/this-sh-looks-disgusting-fans-criticize-lamelo-ball-after-his-tattoos-go-viral

Load management will have a little for them, It is not the load that cost them to rest  and heal for half of the season or less.
It is the play and the accident they always have while playing. Add's knee is fragile, same to Kyrie. It is their injury before who keeps coming back.

If we're talking about the whole 2025-2026 regular season, they really can't because Kyrie will only play at the latter parts of the regular season because of the injury that he got. As for AD, we already have this stigma where anytime he can get injured because of his past history, but record shows that since 2 seasons ago, his number of games played for a regular season has increased already compared to his first years in LA.

Will they be healthy if they clinch the playoffs? Yes that could be possible, and I think even though one of them is injured or not playing, they might still clinch because of how deep the roster is. Like you though, I'm just happy that 2 of former Le-GM's teammates are now playing on the same team, and at the same time, they also have the top overall pick this 2025 NBA draft. Let's see how the chemistry will be build, and will they be better for the whole regular season now that Luka is out for the team already.

A lift that can provide help for JB, better than nothing and as you mentioned a short contact while JT still recovering, hopefully Simmons will provide them some decent numbers, I see good games from him while playing with clippers unlike when he's still with the Nets, might be possible to give him decent minutes, though he's no longer a offensive type of a player but he got the height and if by chance he can also penetrate to make a basket. Will be depend with how the coach will use him I guess.

I really don't know what to think of Ben Simmons in a Boston Celtics' jersey, are they going to change from their live by 3s die by 3s mentality, if yes, then perhaps, Ben Simmons could be better than nothing at all, but for a shooting team, and Ben Simmons who can't make a shot from 1 feet away from the basket, I don't know man... There is definitely going to be the need for a complete change of identity whenever he's on the floor, because teams the would restrict him from the paint and rather leave him unguarded to double up on the others.

Dylan Harper's face reaction after looking at his contract was amazing and shocking. He's going to earn approximately $56M on his four-year rookie career with the Spurs. That's more than the amount of contract and money his dad earned with his entire NBA career which was just around $35M. Dylan is more lovable than his brother I guess, the Jr.

I saw that video as well. I guess other high end rookies ill react that why, you can see it in their face when their names are called and their families crying because it's going to be a big $$$ for their boy. But we know that Dylan's mom is going to guide his son on how not to squander that big money. His mom is a Filipino so for sure he will be stringy. Maybe there will be a time that his brother might go to the NBA as well? Everyone is making their bold move, except for the Warriors, and the news that might come from them is Kuminga being traded or signing with them. But it seems that there are no news at all and some analyst says that Houston is the biggest winner, having KD and DFS. But Warriors? So let's see about this drama, I don't know if Kuminga deserves a good pay or teams are willing to gamble with him with at least $30 million a year.

A rookie contract but the kid for sure don't see such decent amount of money and it shows up with his reaction when he saw the offer, and surely if he played well that's not it, there are more that he may recieved, just a preview of more big potential offers if he shows his best game during his rookies season.

On the other concern about Kuminga, not sure if what will going to happen with him not having a clear contract yet might be possible to receive offers from other team or he may take whatever GSW will offer for his stay.

I agree to that , instead of taking him why not bring back Smart if defense and role player I guess he's better than Simmons not really sure as what you said, we know how Boston system works, not sure if how they can manage him to be fit if they still continue that game play.

What can you say about these guys? Especially the fans of Lebron James.

LeBron James reuniting with Kyrie Irving, Anthony Davis? Lakers star has interest in Mavericks, per report
https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/lebron-james-reuniting-with-kyrie-irving-anthony-davis-lakers-star-has-interest-in-mavericks-per-report/

Quote
Despite LeBron James picking up his $52.6 million player option to remain with the Los Angeles Lakers for next season, there's never been more speculation surrounding his status with the team. That's in part because no new contract was negotiated this summer to keep him there past this upcoming season, and also because of the reports circulating suggesting that James isn't entirely thrilled with L.A.'s direction, which is centering on Luka Doncic. The Lakers have swiftly entered the Dončić era, which means thinking about their future after James retires, and not so much about worrying about hastily shelling out assets for short-term success.

It can happen, and let's not doubt that. We have seen worse in the NBA, and even if the team management is willing to pay the luxury tax, they will do it for ticket sales and other profits for their team. Imagine buying a Mavs jersey with James on the back. That might be awesome for the Dallas fans.
I am not against it as a Mavs fan, but all the players that I like are gone from the Mavs. That's why I don't really care if he suddenly pops out of that roster.

Marcus Smart is now off the market imo, he's signed with the Lakers and I doubt the Lakers would trade him out for anything after already losing a defensive minded Dorian Finney-Smith... Also I don't know how the Lakers would combined Marcus Smart with the guards they've got already, if the OKC Thunder can make have Alex Caruso work within their roster, then I suppose the Lakers would figure it out too, Marcus Smart just need to stay healthy enough to be impactful on that roster.

Celtics are surely going to have a tough run this season, in my opinion, I just can't see how they'd be able to cope with everything they've lost to either injury or trades, and there too talented to choose to tank.

He's got a brother already in the NBA but it's possible that the three of them will play there. But I don't think that they'll ever be in the same team. They've got no influence currently even if their dad is a known veteran player. I just wish that most of these rookies that got a good amount of money will play better of how they're going to manage their finances because not everyone gets that amount during their early days.

The only difference between Smart and Caruso is Caruso do the hustle on defense and has good offense too when he has the opportunity to attack the basket while Smart is completely no offense at all and don’t do hustle on defense.

AC is even doing this play on his previous team so OKC just capitalized on it when they acquired him. He is scoring less yet the enemy star player is scoring less too.

If Smart can do that kind of hustle with LA I think he might be effective.

Yup, if Lakers will able to blend Smart to the right sets of players he can be effective both ways, LeBron and Luka will compensate with how Smart played, he's a good defender with also a good offensive capabilities, a role player who can adds up when inside the court, they just need to use him where he can fit himself and play with comfort from his new teammates.

We can't tell if what Smart may bring until we see them playing together, he might be effective or might not depends on how Lakers coachses will use him.

Dallas can't play these players all game every game, they would get injured and tired. But, they can't keep giving them rests for months, because players who do not play too long, end up getting injured quickly too. So they need to handle the load management in a good way, so that they could both play some games, but not a lot.

I would say about 2 games per week on average should be fine, like if they end up the season with about 55 to 60 games, that means they missed about 25 games give or take, and that would not be terrible. I have no clue how they could have a good seed with that, probably won't, but it would help out a lot. They need their stars to be healthy all the time and get a good return otherwise they will fail.

I think the biggest thing Marcus Smart will bring to the table is that he isn’t a whiner. Maybe he will rub off a little bit on Luka and LeBron, who argue literally every call that is made about them. Smart is a hard worker and the kind of guy you want in your team’s locker room. I think that’s where he will make the biggest impact.

Assuming they will complete their roster this season I think they have stacked bench players that can be use to have a proper player rotation just like what Indiana Pacers did on their road to finals.

Mavs already acquired a lot of good players for their bench while their starter is already solid with just a cons of being injury prone.

Proper player rotation is the key to lessen injury rather than limit the games player can play since they need to regularly put all players in rotation to blend well their teamwork.

You have a point here. His attitude to encourage his teammates is good and might be compensated on his not so “smart” move on in his decision making on offense sometimes.

With Luka and Lebron carrying the offense is the only reason why I give chance to smart that will work on Lakers.

I’m excited to see what impact he can give to Lakers or he will just warm the bench most of the time. Lol.

Some players are a bit older, especially if the team's star players are older, that team doesn't have much chance of success. In any case, the Dallas Mavs have become a team disliked by many NBA viewers. They need to change that image this season, and it won't be easy.
Not many players will be able to perform at their best until the end of the season, and I don't think they'll be very successful this season

It's a grueling 80+ games in the regular season. But if you have to go back to the 80's to early 2000's, you won't hear any load management and even if teams have older player, their coaches still are firm on playing them, unless they are really injured and can't play.

And that's why it is argued that this era is very soft, or players become fragile. As I can remember, we have the likes of AC Green playing a lot of games as he was known to be the Iron Man or even the great Utah player John Stockton. I guess they are really built differently back then.

Well, that's everyone's business to get crazy tattoos or not, but it's worth noting that some NBA players go overboard with it. However, LaMelo Ball doesn't have many tattoos yet. I mean, he's a long way from Birdman in that regard.
p.s.
Funny thing is, when Birdman started his NBA career, his body had almost no tattoos.

I don't think the Dallas has been hated by the viewers since fans love their team. They are angry with the management especially on Nico for deciding to trade Luka on Lakers. Many believe that they are close to get a championship especially if they retain Luka on their team.

But messed happens and management make everything complicated on their side. Their stars is injury prone and their championship run for this season is questionable.

But if happen that Cooper Flagg perform well just like what Luka did and he can be a reliable defensive also offensive player on their team then maybe the hate for their management would subside and they start to love Nico again.

They just hated what they did to luka, since they think they he can bring them another ring, sadly they trade him if Flagg can do the same? we wont know until we are in the regular season but what we see in the summer league is just a taste and we still need to wait, they also need to stop doing things like trading superstars like what they did to luka, that will make people enrage by those actions.
