Hi guys,
I'm getting this error with Claymore 15.0 on Nanopool now, is tehre anyone getting the same error? I didn't change any parameters and setting before and after fork of ETH.
"Probably you are trying to mine Ethereum fork. Please specify "-allcoins 1" or "-allpools 1" option. Check "Readme" file for details. Pool sent wrong data, cannot set epoch, disconnect ETH: Connection lost, retry in 20 sec..."
Thank you guys.

It just happened for me, Claymore is up to date. I've set -allcoins 1 and now mining is very 'choppy'/unstable - I see it on temperatures specially. Also now I see another thing: No new jobs were recieved for 10 mins - something went wrong with the pool Weird, it looks like developer of Claymore wanted to avoid some forks or pools and now we have to switch to something? BTW I'm using this setup for over two years: Windows 10 + AMD Drivers + Nanopool + Claymore

From @nanopool_org twitter: Some of our Ethereum nodes got into fork. We are working to restore the blockchains on the nodes and fix the problem. Balances and payments will be recalculated and pool downtime compensated in next few hours. 7:26 PM · Dec 8, 2019

It was mining again for a while, almost stable again but now it can't even connect but I guess we just have to wait. Doesn't matter now is it with "-allcoins 1 -allpools 1" or without. BTW I've chcecked that pings to Nanopool are around 45ms, to Ethermine 35ms so will switch to them after next payout. At least to try. O-ho! It's connecting again!

Now I see that I'll do that for sure! Few people recommended that, I see how Nanopool went down in rankings :O I was using it since beginning so never thought about changing but as many people say there are serious reasons for change :O

if you do not know much about the linux commands then just use the GUI as it is identical to windows download the zip file extract it configure the bat file with your eth address pool server and execute the bat thats all to it With Claymore miner somehow. If I executed script first, clay turns off gpu1. #!/bin/bash
sudo nvidia-smi -pm 1 && sudo nvidia-smi -pl 80 nvidia-settings -a '[gpu:0]/GPUMemoryTransferRateOffset[2]=800' nvidia-settings -a '[gpu:1]/GPUMemoryTransferRateOffset[2]=800' nvidia-settings -a '[gpu:2]/GPUMemoryTransferRateOffset[2]=800' nvidia-settings -a '[gpu:3]/GPUMemoryTransferRateOffset[2]=800' nvidia-settings -a '[gpu:4]/GPUMemoryTransferRateOffset[2]=800' And I tested ethminer , gpu works fine. it all seems fine to me i am sorry as i cannot see whats wrong

it all seems fine to me i am sorry as i cannot see whats wrong [/quote] Gpu1 is off, that's the problem In linux numeric buttons wont enable/disable gpus (as far as I know). The only way I can enable gpu 1 is via remote management. And same thing happened (without starting oc script) when I set sudoers to: myusername ALL=(ALL) NOPASSWD:ALL. Auto sudo makes problem with gpu 1 too And that is the problem on all my linux rigs. No matter is Amd or Nvida cards on it. And it's happening only with Clay's miner.

After almost a year on windows, i decided to give this SMOS a try.
Gotta say, WOW. It works amazing. Only downside that i can see, is that you have to have ethernet connection (wifi not supported), but this can easily be worked around.
Anyway, setup is super simple, OS and miners are stable. Abundance of tweaking options based on both Claymore and SMOS itself.
ATM i'm getting 182 MH/s with 6x RX580 8GB, with wattage of around 900W from the wall, and temperatures under 65c (NO AC)

I'm still to lazy to switch, but with a new year coming, maybe will do something new

If you don't believe it or don't get it, I don't have the time to try to convince you, sorry.

True! Linux distros are way more stable and lightweight than Windows. I personally used Windows 10 LTSC for my mining rigs. Anyway, I had a rig of 6x Sapphire RX580 8GB Pulse and in Windows, I was able to get 180 MH/s with flat 700W from the wall. As much as I can remember, each card in Claymore stated to consume around 74-77 Watts per card. So, I think you can further reduce power consumption for the rig.

Hello guys ! finally, I can't do it.. I'm going crazy, i'm giving up !.. Can't reach a right profil without " Incorrect ETH Shares" and same without tweak.. I don't understand how is it possible... I've got 6 Sapphire RX Vegas 64 Nitro+ and I cannot have a profil around 50-51 Mh/s without errors... I've already try this : Conf 1 :GPU : - P0 : 852 Mhz / 800 mV - P1 : 1175 Mhz / 900 mV - P2-7 : Disabled Memory : - P3 : 1100 MHz / 900 mV - P0-2 : Disabled -> Incorrect ETH Shares Conf 2 BIS :GPU : - P0 : 852 Mhz / 800 mV - P1 : 1075 Mhz / 850 mV - P2-7 : Disabled Memory : - P3 : 1090 MHz / 900 mV - P0-2 : Disabled -> Incorrect ETH Shares Conf 3 :GPU : STOCK Memory : STOCK -> Crash then restart ! Conf 4 :GPU : - P0 : 852 Mhz / 800 mV - P1-7 : Disabled Memory : - p3 : 1107 Mhz / 837 mV -> Settings won't apply in Claymore (I've got 44 Mh/s) WTF is that ? I don't understand what's wrong ... Did you try increasing your virtual memory? I always heard that you should have a 1:1 for your combined card memory. So in your case I'd go with 64gb. On a 120GB hard drive that might be difficult. Personally I have 500GB SSD on each of my rigs. Maybe you can add another cheap SSD and just use that for VM?
You could also try just enabling one card at a time and see how many work? Miner Properties > GPU Selection at the bottom > Use selected from list > (Select just one or two then hit OK) > See if it runs (stable.) If so, add another until it stops.
I also use Awesome Miner for all of my rigs and I'm not having any issues with Claymore 15. Alternatively, try PhoenixMiner. If you have the same problem then it's probably not with the software.
I got this sorted same day... Your solution was spot on, I have now set 40GB Virtual memory... worked a charm, much appreciated for the good info.
