Update patch version 3.7.4 available

This is an important release which fixes some bugs and introduces a new parameter for the Bollinger Band Bot.

• Minimum Effective Gain % parameter added to the Bollinger Band Bot. It's possible to enable just one side (buy/sell or sell/buy), none, or both sides
• Fix to Bollinger Band Bot buying and selling if http results are missing
• Added internal handling of maximum allowed prices to the spot-order mechanics of the Bollinger Band Bot
• Bollinger Band Bot now uses the top of the orderbook instead of the ticker price to check for buy/sell signals
• Fix for Static Ping Pong Bot added
• Demo funds issue fixed
• Confirmation on closing currency pairs requested (can be disabled in options)
• Added candle width to the candle tooltip
• Fixed error in HitBTC, which made several currency pairs unusable

I am testing the BB bot with 3.7.4 and I am seeing some crashes.
When I restart Leonardo and Righ Click the Strategy to resume it crashes immediately.

I dont know if this behavior also happens with the NON demo mode.

I just tried this in the Bittrex-demo and it worked fine.

Can you provide more details?

We really appreciate it when a detailed report comes in that we can reproduce as this is the best way we can fix issues.

It worked for me so it is not true to say that it just doesn't work. It clearly does on some systems.

problem spotted (if it is a problem)

So i've MM setup to play with 2000 $CAN coins.

it was doing fine then i noticed this...




my Buy order at bottom did not get fully filled, before the price went back into an upswing.

It seems that LeonArdo will ignore awesome SELL and gain opportunities until it's been fully filled..  so as a result, i missed a sell point with what would've been the best gain the run would have in the past 2 days

Is there a way to tweak this? that is to make LeonArdo proceed and complete sells when value reaches profit setting - even if the last buy did not get fully filled?

Hmm, yes this is an issue with limit orders that partially fill.

The new Bollinger Band Bot uses spot orders so this case does not arise.

We plan on writing our own emulated version, but we don't have it yet.

Quick question:

In my logs it is constantly trying to query my margin positions and showing an error each time (approx every 30 seconds). I don’t use margin at all. Is there a way to turn this off?

Getting a runtime error on the new update after running leo for a couple minutes. Running windows 10 64x.

edit: trying again now see what happens..

Edit 2: Running good so far on bollinger bot. Runtime error happened when I was running ping pong bot.

Edit 3: Program running fine, using bollinger bot for last few hours and I have not had a runtime error. I have not tried ping pong bot since the first runtime error happened. Will try again in the morning and see what happens.

EDIT: in fact in a few tooltip windows this issue does indeed happen, even after adjusting the font size to the minimum readable (tested with the Bollinger Band Bot tooltips). I've never noticed because I seldom check these tooltips and most of the text appears for me; what I cared most were the RSS feeds tooltips, and these work 100% after adjusting the font settings. Personally it doesn't seem to justify becoming a top priority issue for Margin Software to fix, unless many other users complain. Worth reporting for fixing when appropriate, though. My system: Windows 10, 1920x1080 resolution, 140% custom DPI.

Here to report that I've seen this issue with text cut off the tooltip windows in the past, but adjusting the font size solves it for me, as advised by Jonathan. For those who are seeing this, play with the font settings, and also check your system DPI setting when reporting to support (if the font settings don't help). If leonArdo detects you use a HiDPI screen (150%+ DPI on Windows, for instance), it will use bigger widgets, including the tooltip windows; so try playing with your operating system DPI setting too.

Guys , i downloaded the demo version to check it. The bot is starting and places orders but every time it refreshes the orders (it is set to 0.1 hours) , the btc funds are growing without buying or selling anything ! Started with 0.05 btc funds and after a few minutes i had 0.08 ! Is it a bug in the demo ? Do you have any fix about it ?

Update working smooth so far for me.
Possible bug - Testing BB strat on Poloniex and the only thing that seems a little wacky is the “force buy/sell now” buttons at the bottom aren’t executing. Every time it tries to place those spot orders it hangs up. Tries to recover constantly in the log and never gets anywhere (Regular bot orders seem to work fine in strategy tho). Only solution is to stop and restart the strategy so it stops trying to recover.

How do I handel it, when the margin maker fills 0.99 BTC of my 1 BTC buy order and the market wents up to the margin range where the sell of the 0.99 BTC should stay. But it always sticks on the 0.01 BTC buy and waits to get filled before it sets the sell order. The bot could make good profit with that 0.99 sell.

I try the demo version of leonardo 3.3.0, when i choose "demo - poloniex" there is no currency pair to choose, completely blank.
Other exchange is okay.

Been testing the new version 3.7.4 for a few hours now, and the Bollinger Band Bot made a 5% gain. YAY!!

Bitfinex is blazing fast again. Placed a manual order, adapted it, very responsive. In fact, the app itself seems overall faster: starts faster, general operations work better.

So far, everything 100% stable. I'll left the BB bot running overnight to see how it goes.
