Hi, Sent this as a PM to Jonathan but thought it may also help others.
Hi Jon
Im wanting to purchase Leonardo.
I started the process then i got to the Bitcoin Payment section.
I don't have any funds in a Desktop Wallet, only on Bittrex.
Now i can copy your BTC Address and then send the required BTC.
2 Questions really.
As BTC is 'anonymous' how will you know its me that has paid and grant the license?
Also im a little confused over the fee on Bittrex, when i send will it deduct the fee from the amount or add it on. Dont want to send it short and end up paying 2 X Transaction Fees.
Hope you get what im trying to say.
Matt

Just getting a hold of using this software. I love it. Can I just confirm that the relative stop loss acts as a trailing stop loss?
Yes! In the sense it follows where the last buy was made and is set relative to that. Great you love leonArdo! Best wishes, Jonathan

Hi Matt, Great you want to buy leonArdo! Yes you can just add the dynamic payment address generated by bitpay to your bittrex withdrawal and it will work. Not sure offhand how bittrex handle the fees? No worries if you are a little off. In our buying process as long as you add your email address we can link that to the payment. That's how we know you have paid! Best wishes, Jonathan

I've asked the dev team to take a look. Have you any more details?
Does it crash while you are interacting with leonArdo's GUI? Or while it is left on it's own?
How many pairs are you running? Are you running the demo version of the software or a paid version?
The more details the better.
Thanks for getting in touch and sorry for the delay in getting back to you.
Best wishes, Jonathan
1.- It crashes when it is left on its own. Everything seems to work fine, but when you leave the program running, after some time it just crashes. 2.- Initially I thought it was because I was running too many pairs, but even with just 2 pairs it also crashes. It doesn't seem to be related to the amount of pairs running. 3.- I'm running the demo version. I'm interested in buying your software but before I do that I need to confirm that it works. I'm running it on a Xubuntu virtual machine because I was running it on Windows 10 and it would also crash without any error message at all. With Ubuntu, at least I get a bunch of text with the malloc error.

@leonArdo Guys,
Have been playing with the demo version for about half an hour and am already liking it. However I have a couple of questions
1. What if I place a order through LeonArdo and later I cancel it through the exchange(Bittrex in my case)? Will it get reflected on Leonardo as well? More generally, does leonArdo see the orders/actions initiated through it only, or is it able to handle ones initiated through the exchange as well. I am sure the answer is latter, but just want to confirm.
2. I have barely spent an hour playing with it so not sure it is a an intended feature or me being unable to find the correct setting. But I am not able to reduce the amount of BTC to use to buy LTC while using the Margin maker. My balance is 0.445 BTC and the Margin maker just does not seem to like any amount lesser than it. I am not move the slider to reduce the amount (though I am able to use it to increase the amount). When I manually enter the amount in the input box, the amount automatically reverts back to 0.445 BTC
3. While launching the program in Demo mode (Bittrex Demo), the inital balance is greyed out and set to 0.5 BTC. Is it possible to adjust it?
Thanks

Tryed the demo last night and it crashed on me several time. I only setup some basic margin trading on 3 different currency and it alwais crash after some time. The computer it run on is not in cause, i7 5930k, 32gb ram, etc.
I do not feel confident buying it if it cant run stable for days.
Then don't buy. If you want support or to learn more contact us here: support@marginsoftware.deWe are struggling with some issues on the demo market that do not affect the real version and are working hard to get to the bottom of them. Best wishes, Jonathan You should have edit and delete this first sentence. This is just how NOT to do customer service. I understand that you can face issue but the demo is your best selling point, people can try it, like it and buy it. The demo need to be on your "top 5" priority list when you have bugs. I'll come back later at your product. Boulard83 10+yrs working as tech support

Update: Im now a licensed user Jonathan worked with me to get my software in the activated status for Bittrex. For anyone who has not yet bought, once you do half the secret is required not half the key. It took a while to realise why i could still not login, all sorted now tho thanks to Jonathan. Now to choose a coin to use with LeonArdo. Regards Matt

Please forgive my newbie questions 1) Can I send the payment for Leonardo directly from my Bittrex account? 2) I've no idea how to log in to the demo account. How do I get my API and secret key necessary? Cheers!

Hi Mate
Yes you can 'withdraw' from Bittrex and use the Bitcoin Address given when you go to Buy the Software.
This will send the funds to Margin Software for your license.
You create the API in the settings on Bittrex.
Once payment is made you then need to fill in the web form that loads with the First Half of your Secret from the API in the correct Line for your Exchange.
To use the DEMO you cannot use it on your Exchange account.
On the drop down menu select the DEMO ones listed.
Hope this helps.

Hi All,
Anyone else using the OSX version? Having an issue with the Bittrex Demo whereby the trade timeline does not appear to load. All other data appears to be there, makes setting the Margin a little tricky!

Can anyone using leonArdo kindly explain to me how does it calculate effective gain?
I am fiddling with demo version (with Bittrex as exchange). I chose margin maker as the strategy with the following settings:
Trading pair: LTC/BTC: Amount (LTC) : 15.4704 Start with : Buy Buy Margin: 32% Sell Margin: 30% Trading Window: 38% Effective margin: 1.05% Min Effective gain: -1%
The buy order went through with these details: Type: limit buy Price:0.01615998 Amount:15.470393 Total:0.25000124
The bot automatically placed a sell order with these details: Type: limit buy Price:0.0162114 Amount:15.470393 Total:0.25079673
I am not able to understand how selling at 0.0162114 amounts to 1.05% gain. By the mathemetical formula Gain % = [(Selling Price - Cost Price) * 100]/ Cost Price It comes to [(0.0162114 - 0.01615998)*100]/0.01615998 = 0.31819%
The formula gives effective gain as 0.318193%, and not 1.05% gain which I had aimed for. There is quite a strong chance I am misunderstanding the settings. In that case would someone be kind enough to tell me what these settings (Buy Margin, Sell Margin, Trading Window, Effective margin) mean and what values should I provide in these settings if I want to get a profit of 1.05% in every trade.
Thanks.

Feature Request I'm currently trading on Bittrex manually and really need a Trailing Stop Loss feature for manual trades. A simple Stop Loss that could be changed would be the minimum solution. This feature should be usable across all supported exchanges. Please add to an upgrade soon. Thanks.

Hi All
Does anyone know if its possible and if so how to put % at the right side of the graph? Either as well as or instead of the rate?
Thanks

Hi All
This forum has been really quest the last 24 hours!
I just had a crash id like to post about. My PC Does Put the monitor to sleep but the PC stays active, i have just disabled the Hard Disk 'sleep' to never in the advanced options.
I was running the bot on Ping Pong mode on XMY/BTC.
It had purchased coins so it was at the sell stage, the order is with Bittrex so if i had not been attending the computer i would have been OK as long as the price didnt plummet.
Im looking in the .Leonardo folder specificially looking for any reason for the crash and as it stands im not finding anything, is there a particular log file i should be checking?
I do have this from the event log on Windows 10 X64.
Faulting application name: leonArdo.exe, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x59a8777c Faulting module name: libstdc++-6.dll, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x0000b000 Exception code: 0x40000015 Fault offset: 0x0002085d Faulting process ID: 0x1358 Faulting application start time: 0x01d32325e4ede51e Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\mArgin-leonArdo\leonArdo.exe Faulting module path: C:\Program Files (x86)\mArgin-leonArdo\libstdc++-6.dll Report ID: 1d6283c7-04e0-412d-befb-643b6bd7fb09 Faulting package full name: Faulting package-relative application ID:
Any advice would be appreciated.
My monitor (even though connected to a PC) is a Apple LED Cinema Display as as such doesn't have a power on/off switch, it would usually power on automatically when connected to a MAC, so i normally have windows power off display after 30 mins idle.
Regards

Depends on the exchange. On bittrex it's a standard 0.25% for all trades. On poloniex the effective gain is calculated using standard taker fees of 0.25%. The API doesn't allow us to pre-determine the type of order so we choose to display the higher taker fees rather than the possible, most likely, even probably maker fees of 0.015%. Best wishes, Jonathan
