Is this usecase scenario possible with leonArdo?

1) I manually place a limit sell order of BTC/USD for 8000USD

2) I want leonArdo to check if the order executed and if yes, to place a buy order for BTC/USD for 7600USD price

Is this something leonArdo can do? Are you guys aware of some other tool capable of this?

You can use the static ping pong bot to buy and sell between two prices like that. The only thing you cannot do is automatically have it stop after a single cycle. It would continue to sell and buy indefinitely.

Note the bot can only be in one mode at a time. So if you start it in sell mode it would sell at 8000 and then only switch to buy mode after it had sold.

Best wishes,
Jonathan

Looks like you have experienced a network timeout. Something caused the system to wait too long, either the network was down or the system crashed. I have experienced that as well. For me it displays the data for the hour before the event but exactly 8 hours before that are missing. I sent support a note for the same issue I had earlier tonight.

I believe it is margin's data collection from bitttrex that is the issue.  Think they have to restart it and it will back fill missing data.

but i dont understand: why new versions (like 3.5.0 & 3.6.0) work with orders slower than 3.4.1 on bittrex?
and I am forced to use 3.4.1...

What do you mean by this? I am at Bittrex with 3.6.0. Indeed, the first initialization is a bit slower but the orders are executed as it should be.

Hi Jonathon,

I Have had a similar issue. Early this morning I left my computer unattended for about 12 hours. All power settings were set to sleep never except the monitor which could turn off after 10 mins
When I returned I noticed that some threads had continued updating throughout the intervening 12 hours, some had the red dash similar to the photo for that interval and others just had the 12 hour chunk missing.

This was for two servers. Bittrex and Bitfinex

I have done the following.

Checked my power settings. OK

Shut Down Leo. All missing data for Bitfinex has been restored.

However all Bittrex data from all threads prior to when I returned to the PC about an hour ago is now missing even Data that was there prior to restarting Leo

Thanks

Data collection was down on bittrex! I have re-started it and the gaps in data will get filled in over the next few days.

plz see this video http://dropmefiles.com/UwG07
1. Sometimes I do not see all the information when I'm pointing at a candle
2. Not immediately put up a sell order after buy - I have to wait 40-60 sec...

I was hoping for Kraken support in this new release. I also regret that the demo-Kraken exchange is removed from the app.

I gave the reason for this in a post yesterday. Please see below.

We so wanted to release Kraken today, but we just couldn't do it. Their API is just so unreliable at present, it feels like their website. It's horrible and today I couldn't place or cancel a single f*$king order over a two hour period??

We are really sorry about this. Hopefully, Kraken can start to improve things on their end. As for us, we have spent hundreds of hours trying to work with their API and are now in a fix. One thing we are considering is having a closed beta round with a slack channel for feedback to get it out to some testers. Would that be something you would be interested in?

If you,  or anyone else, is interested, please mail support@marginsoftware.de and let us know.

BTW I found this post on Reddit yesterday and found it quite illuminating: https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/7cz9s1/dear_kraken_we_need_to_talk/

Best wishes,
Jonathan

Sorry I missed that post. Thank you for the explanation and I completely understand the frustration. I will sign up for beta testing.

I'm actually quite interested in this bot but I'm wondering about its performance. Do you have any performance test reports that have been carried out over a couple months. I suppose it highly and mainly depends on how smart one is able to configure and apply the bot?

Yes, every person will have their own strategy on which coins to run the marginmaker on and which with settings.

Is there a chance that the team add more exchanges in leonArdo software soon, such as hitbtc?

There will be more exchanges in the future. It is always a question of allocation of resources.
But we continuously will add exchanges that our customers demand Wink

All the best,

  Rene
Hi Rene,

Kraken is already announced on some articles talking about leonArdo, like this one: https://steemit.com/bitcoin/@marcusxman/leonardo-the-crypto-trading-bot-you-need

However, Kraken is not present right now.

Any news on kraken API added to leonArdo?

could you please forget about Kraken , there rebuild their trade engine and your prob going to need to recode it later.
Coul you maybe add leveraged trading for okcoin and bitmex future . all the future exchange have really low fees ( bitmex pay you to place limit order ) = more of your clients that use the software would make more profits , = you can charge more when the news spread how profitable the software is

I picked up Leonardo 2 days ago and have been experimenting with it. Its actually very easy to use.

However, lets say I set Leo to buy a coin at $.29 and its .000000244 BTC (made up number) and that is based on the current value of Bitcoin, and sell at $.30 with a PIng POng bot.

Will my price be relative to the value of BTC over time or will my Ping Pong change to buying at .32 and selling at .36 as BTC values rise?

Does that make sense?

The new version is great, has been very stable so far, and the new features are very welcome! However I think I found a small bug:

1) In "Active orders", right click an order, choose "Adapt price".

2) The amount is initially with only 4 decimal places. If you try to type more decimal places, it doesn't let you.

3) However, if you delete (backspace) one of the initial decimals, then it allows you to type more than 4.

4) I suggest that besides fixing this bug, to start with 6 decimal places, allowing up to 8, as it will fit most currencies scenarios.

Thanks!

EDIT: in fact it looks more erratic than that. For instance, typing with the numeric keyboard (with Num Lock on, of course) doesn't work; sometimes only a certain number is accepted in the input box, even after deleting the original contents; I couldn't find a precise scenario for these, but I'm sure that if you try, you will notice that.

Hi Jonathon,

There still seems to be a problem with data collection on Bittrex.

Also I am having problems with restarting Leonardo. It often crashes multiple times just after it finishes initialising.

I have copied this as an email and attached a screenshot of the error messages from event viewer.

Have also tried shutting down the PC.

PC details if relevant

AMD Ryzen 5 1600
16 GB Ram
Win 10 64 bit

Thanks

Ping pong is static.  That means that it will buy and sell at the price that you set.  If you want the bot to adjust with the price, I would use the Margin Maker strategy.  You just select the amount of data you want to use, and the buying margin, and selling margin.  Just make sure you leave some extra funds in your trading account, because the bot will need to make adjustments based on the price fluctuations.  Hope that helps.
