There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. Header-only clients like MultiBit trust that the majority of mining power is honest for the purposes of enforcing network rules such as the 21 million BTC limit. Full clients do not trust miners in this way.

Order just changed to "In Progress" - Order 193XX

Thats interesting. My order number is about 1k higher then yours and I am still on "paid".

Fun fact: I paid in January (cancelled Neptune). I suppose you paid in March?

What a fantastic consumer experience this all is, again the deluxe treatment for the early supporters.

This is also a converted neptune, which I paid in nov 2013  Lips sealed

well if they actually (jeez what a stretch) have scypt n at a decent hash rate we MIGHT get close to ROI..I myself think it is KNC smoke/mirror and a future
upgrade that maybe you could do say 50mh scrypt n or some silliness...

anyway I'm thinking I might get half my money back ...but with todays recent BTC fall that my not be so either

Bitcoin gets a cold the rest of the coins get pneumonia..don't ya know

oh well my last hurrah

to add insult to injury ...i'm gonna run my Titan on a corsair 1200i new in box I got on the PROMISE in jan/feb of us getting more jupiters etc
then we found out they were using all the modules/machines they promised us during their "lull" to mine with...duh...

so with them saying soon all the time I got the 1200i corsair to be safe...so shafted with power supply shafted with Titan
it all has a certain symmetry..don't ya know

the fickle finger of fate having f*ck*d moves on!

No per order for me anymore

same only exception would be www.spondoolies-tech.com they gave me a refund of 6.3k on miner hosting package on a post I made
on bitcoin talk on prob not making ROI and the sp30 not really suited for home mining (was my orig use but too noisy) they offered a
refund ..I likely could have probably ROI'd but not much more so I took it

other then that act of faith and personal relationship shown me after BFL and KNC and the rest and the fact most of their stuff is
like 6 weeks pre-order at most I think ....I would take a chance on a pre-order from them from my experiences and their offer of a
refund w/o me pestering them..just as a courtesy

but it is unlikely I will get a miner from them...or anyone for that matter ...at 15c/kwh home mining just don't work with KNC or
anyone esp if you are trying to guess a pre-order time line...so the question of a pre-order from spondoolies again will likely never
happen....so its all a moot question

anyway my 2c worth (used to have this warm fuzzy feeling for KNC er now that they went BFl er um....not so much don't ya know!)

I think by January 2015 difficulty will be 150 billion. SP30's will be selling for $100. BTC will be sub $100 and there will be thousands of Chinese killing themselves to squeeze every last penny from their dying BTC farms.

Someone on kncminer forum is requesting that we have the source code for Titan firmware. If that goes as planned, then we as a community can work on a scrypt-n feature and may be able to see ROI. Last to scrypt, but first to scrypt-n !

Is KNC donating to charity?

I asked knc again about when to ship bonus neptune, and again I got the reply:

"At the moment we don't have the dates for shipping Neptune bonuses. Hopefully we will be able to release more information about the dates soon."

Probably next time we should not ask when, but "whether or not"......

Question for you Neppy owners. Smiley

I am thinking of buying a rubbermaid container and modifying it so I can put my Neppy, three PSU's, power cables and network cable inside then put the box outside on my balcony as I live in Canada and it tends start to must cooler this time of the year before winter hits. I wonder if anyone has done something like this and been able to figure out where to drill some holes for ventilation or if anyone has an some idea?

Thanks,
