If knc dont refund neptune buyers then surely they should be investigated by a company trading authority,they just dont seem remotely care from what i have been reading...

But they do refund Neptune buyers, if you requested a refund before they started manufacturing and shipping. You just gotta keep emailing them takes a few months but they do eventually refund.


I thought that was only 1st batch neptune customers? the refund I mean...and once they start shipping there are no refunds...

thus my statement of "no refunds'  anymore...if I am mistaken please enlighten me.

Whether you get a refund or not depends on what sort of agreement you signed up to when purchasing your device, I never purchased anything in Batch 2, if Batch 2 said no refunds then Caveat Emptor. But many people who purchased a device from KnC in Batch 0 and 1 who then requested a refund before they started manufacturing and shipping have recieved refunds, myself included.

And to be excat, consumer rights and not Bullshit-2-Bullshit (B2B) rights.

AFox, did you file in Sweden? How long did the whole process take?
I hired a lawyer in my country (France) specialized in European law.
It took two weeks.

I don't know how the lawyer did it.
He just asked for the invoice from KNC, my IBAN (account informations) and my identity card.

The interesting thing, is that I paid in BTC, but KNC issued me an invoice in USD and paid me back by bank transfer in USD.

Exactly, people do have rights. This is an example of someone using the law to deal with knc and winning. I suggested people get together a week ago and use the same process to get refunds:

But did anyone do this? I didn't see anyone post or discuss it.

Shame really.

If 10 people got together, it would cost next to nothing and people could get their refunds.

Whatever it is about bitcoin mining or computer geeks - I guess the people who don't take action think bitcoin is somehow criminal - they just hide and do nothing. You really don't have to lube up and take it up the butt if you don't want to - you can actually do something about it. And you might actually feel good if you don't let assholes like knc push you around.


Hi all.  I'm done with these people, KNC, that is.

I'm in the U.S. & tired of waiting over 110 days for something to show up.  They refuse to refund me my $10KUSD & they haven't sent anything to me except to keep refusing me my refund & telling me to be more patient than I already have been & that they're in the process of shipping.  Really since June???  I didn't knw the world was soooo big that it takes months to ship something to the U.S all of a sudden.

At this point I don't want their KNC Neptuna products, I want my refund.

Seriously, has anyone able to or find anything on that incredibly mysterious lawyer that supposedly was successful at getting a refund back from someone here?
Can the frustrated get together to start something to get a refund?
It would definitely be cheaper to get a few others involved in this for sure.

First of all no local lawyer outside of Sweden is going to be able do anything for you period as Sweden's legal system is completely different than law outside of Sweden. So you are going to have to hire a lawyer in Sweden if you want to go after KNC Miner.

I almost hate to ask you guys who got a Neptune this question....but
being a Titan batch one order (ok enough booing already!)

If you know or can remember how long did it take to from the announcement they had a 'chip"
to actually get a number of working neptunes out in a reasonable manner

I assume folks here know this from the obsessive nature of such an announcement of such
a chip arriving and the waiting on pins/needles so see something come off the production
line in a lively manner

hey I too need something to obsess about when they announce they have a 'chip' for the Titan

from what I remember it was NOT a speedy process in the 1st batch Neptunes case

anyway off hand if anyone knows let me know ...with no refund on the Titan ..need

to mentally prepare myself for more KNC slippage down the customer satisfaction scale so to speak

thanks hopefully you guys are pulling away on ROI with the low diff changes recently (knock wood)

They announced that the wafer had left the fab on June 2nd. I'm not sure of the date of first shipment but, about 3 1/2 weeks later. There has not been an announcement on the Titan wafer but, as you know with KNCs communication skills it doesn't mean a thing. If the wafer has not left the fab the earliest we can now hope for is end of August.

Yea, with the best will in the world and no major issues you're looking at a month from wafer before you can reasonably expect to see miners delivered (excluding the one off "look, we met our deadline" miner which may arrive a week or so earlier).

To give them credit this kind of timescale was unheard-of before KnC; which makes it all the more amazing that they shipped with one fire hazard PCI-e power socket.
