They are going away from consumer market, their design clearly shows this intention.

Yes, but in going away from the consumer market, one would think that rackmount enclosures similar to spoondoolies would be the way to go.  I guess squeezing every cent from each miner is the most profitable way to go in this arms race.  Keep overhead costs to a minimum and keep on minin'. lol

I guess they just wanted to reuse the open shelves used for their Jupiter's. The ones we have seen on the pictures form their mine.

You are right, rack design would be the way to go but I think they just wanted to reuse their farm design. This way it would be a quicker to upgrade their farm.

Their mining op comes first, this is the reason why they choose this "cube" design. As you said, they just wanted to keep the overhead cost at a minimum by not changing their shelves or redesigning their proven airflow inside the farm to dissipate the heat. Density was not their concern, they designed something for their needs.

Batch 1 customers need bonus miner, otherwise this is not fair to us.

It's actually batch 1 & 2 who get the bonus miner, though I think they should give us 2 bonus miners they did take even longer to start shipping them after when they promised them.

for neptune, batch 1 & 2 customers are promised with bonus miner, but no one ever receive it.

for titan, no bonus miner is promised.

probably in the end no one will receive any bonus. all our money belongs to the kfc...

any way to get refunds from Titans or not really? ;x

You pre-ordered something months in advance and now asking for money back because things looking bad?

I feel for you, but some people just have to learn and get fucked up the ass to finally learn a lesson. NEVER PRE-ORDER ANYTHING. You are essentially giving a company an interest free loan to do what they want with it. Titan, Neptune. Pooey.

When I saw the Neptune model that is was 4 or 5 separate boxes that was a sure sign of big problems right there. Users have a hard enough time troubleshooting one box let alone 5. Power supplies all over, cables infecting the home. Help, these boxes are taking over my place like gremlins.

Sorry, very bad mood lately.

Does anyone know what the maximum operating temp is on the Neptune?

Thanks,
I am pretty sure they will run in ambient as high as 50C.  They don't like it there, but they will run there.  Here is one suffering the effects of pretty high ambient with the afternoon heat.

When you match this up with a local weather outlook, it correlates perfectly!   The ambient temp / heat drives the hashrate down.  The worse case scenario was 50C

Are you a KnCMiner customer, feel abused by their fraudulent business practices and and have considered a legal route? Did you query and got replies from consumer agencies?

Please check my threads and contribute if you can!

I'm collecting replies from authorities and lawyers, as well as collecting points that may be useful for legal action here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=781435

I've also started a thread to get an idea whether there is enough interest in a class action lawsuit:

Make sure you confirm that this fraud is illegal in Sweden before you contact the authorities or you will be the biggest fool.

That's alright. I'd rather be a fool that speaks up than a fool that remains silent.
Also, if you have read through my thread you'd see that I collected a few points indicative for fraud.

Here is something to think about lawsuits takes YEARS and millions of dollars until they go to court and and or settlement is reached. Overseas lawsuits take even longer, because of where the parties are located. I knew someone growing up as a kid who's brother in the UK stole her half of her families fortune. Her brothers and sisters went to the same school's that Prince Charles went to at the same time he was attending; to give you some idea of their wealth. Anyhow 10 years into and there was still no resolution or settlement. She lived here in Canada as a Canadian Citizen while her brother lived in the UK. I am not sure when it did finally come to a close but the point is do you have the time and money and get into this wit KNC? I mean do you not think that KNC hasn't already been told by other angry people that they are gong to coming after them legally that they themselves haven't consulted their own lawyers?

Good luck is all I can say. But make sure you really look at the pros and cons of doing this and weigh in by asking yourself if it's really worth it in the end?

I hope you can find yourself a few wealthy people who are willing to go through with it. Notice I said wealthy and no rich? There is a difference between the two classes of people.

Advanced Tuning, as KNC calls it, on the Neppy's, if I go up to 500Mhz do I leave the voltages along on each die or do I need to lower or up them? If I need to up them what's been the best setting?

Thanks
