I ordered a Titan on day one...about 8 hours after the press release dropped.  Order number 1990X (X to provide anonymity).  For those who have received their titan orders....what was your order number?

It seems as if KnC built the miners sold to customers promised Q2/Q3 (which actually means Q3) delivery, then delivered within the last few days of Q3 to meet their previous pre-sales promise, but they are dragging their feet!!!  They must be mining Scrypt, something fierce.  Seriously, when is my Titan going to be shipped?

They are in the 196xx range at the moment.

I know this for a fact.

I can confirm low hashrate and abrupt hashrate drops and total stops with titan. Reject rate 32,5% with Wafflepool. Using two 750 W Corsair PSUs.

The least they could have done was given another cube to compensate for the constant reboots and low hashrate.

really, awful of them

Exactly especially since the box had space for the extra cube and the controller supports it.

As it was with the Jupiter, let the heat build up in the case.  They should be stable up through 50C.

Wafflepool creates bad vardiff issues with hardcore scrypt miners.  Try to eliminate any rejects, start solo-mining to a local wallet...then post results.   Vardiff doesn't matter if the solo-miner client is on a Gigabit LAN, or even a 100MB LAN.   Start solo, then go pool.  Perhaps mine an alt with low diff if you want to get paid out for test time....something like potcoin or feathercoin has good market volume.  Doge and ltc are too difficult to test-solo-mine.

Edit:
Lol  @ Wafflecoin

http://wafflepool.com/faq

They top out at 128MH for VARDIFF...they even make you set it at login for the worker.  Think you might need to move pools bro.

Now that some of us have learnt a very expensive lesson. How do the Titan owners plan to come close to at least breaking even. Please share your strategies ?

There is no 'positive' strategy, KNC are in their dying days of supplying home miners ... once they get the 'pain in the ass' customer out of the way ... they will rely on their deathstar (datorhall) and 'informed' investors for their meals, BTC and the odd 'PERK' ...  Grin

Haha @ deathstar. Hopefully karma catches up with KNC and let it implode on them

the only way to get ROI on titan
is hoping some new scrypt coins come out
and you get to mine while difficulty is low
and wait for pump
i bought some zeusminers from zeusfiesta in JULY
within 2 days of buying them the f***ers dropped the price in half
i was like what am i gonna do now
i would have never ever ever in my life ROI'd on clever mining
i was lucky to get SDC LTCD and XCASH in a row
now 60 days down the i've ROI'd and can use my machines for pure profit
all 360 Megahash
which will be nothing in a few weeks once the titans roll out in force
but thats another story

That is true. Guess  all the Titan owners will now become scrypt chasers. Gotta catch them all

Yeah.  Ditto on that for me.  I hope the deathstar implodes during one of the investor show & tell tours.

I got my Neptune, (Sept. 2nd, 2014) 5 months after I ordered & needed it.  Now it's too expensive to run bitcoin is nowhere near what it was back 3-4 months ago, so its' still in the original box it came in.  All because KNC idi everything to not give me my refund short of taking out a hit man on me, then they blatantly refused to give me my refund 4 months ago when I requested it's whereabouts.
No law firm would take my case because unfortunately for me my case is less than their minimum $100,000 minimum to qualify for them to make it worth their while here in the U.S. & I sure as hell couldn't find anyone in EU to help either.  So I have a $10.2k pile of crap taking up space in my living room.
However, My 6 S3's are nicely hummin away. But they, too , are turning to little a profit as well.  So I too, will be shutting these down very soon as well.
This was the route, with Bitmain equip., I had to take after not receiving my "Available be end of 2nd Quarter" Neptune  miner.

Regards,

Suzukii

I'm getting 0.59 J/GH with my Neptune, why is yours in a box? Pretty sure the Neptune is more efficient than the S3 (Bitmain claim 0.78 J/GH for the S3).

I have one Titan-cube connected

How many PCIe power connectors are provided on each cube?

They were designed with one connector.

Really?  JFC.  I think this calls for a double facepalm.

I guess I'll be performing an ugly hack on mine to correct this glaring design flaw.

Titan … Well within Q2/Q3   … 5 working days left in September.

Liars or incompetent or just a misbegotten stain on the face of the earth ?

Well,... I just received a UPS-tracking-number.  (my order is 1931x)

sent you a pm but could you maybe do a pic of the power connector on this Titan I have a Y connector heavy duty
from cablez (did pm him no reply) but have no idea wtf is going on with the plug end

and/or even if I did punt and get two 850w units for the Titan ...still need to know what kinda plug end etc

they are really just gonna slam this out the door with that ugly tech manual and buggy firmware and no y connector

sheesh

anyway would really help us on the forum with some power connector pics or at least the power supplies and such
you are using to get the beastie up

thanks

any body got a pic for said connector..i got a cablez y plug ..have not had a reply from him..i'm hoping it is the same y plug for the titan

but no frigging idea

I assume they are NOT shipping with the y plug

I'd just get a couple 850w power supplies from newegg and send them back in 30 days to be save

IF I COULD FIGURE OUT THE PLUG AT THE TITAN END

help would be appreciated for those getting a Titan...hate to be sitting around looking at the beastie going WTF when it arrives prob next week beg of

the setup/fix guide looks like  knc protecting itself from another frankenjupiter fiasco.....or should I say Titanic fiasco

what a farce

anyway those with titans a pic would be very much appreciated of the power connector on the Titan as well as what power supplies? you used

thanks

Cool idea! Take down those pump-and-dump scam-coins before the author can rip off too many people. Pump up the difficulty then drop 'em like a stone. Then they'll never solve a block and the coin will be dead.

Makes me wish I had a Titan so I could join your crew. Cape, undies on the outside, and an Asic Avengers logo on the chest.
