Hi,
Did anyone request a refund of batch one Titan but KnC replied it is no refund at all?
I remember batch 1 Titan can be refunded.
What happened?

you got lied to, by liars...

surprise!!

send them a copy of the terms you agreed to if they show B1 to be eligible for a refund (im 99.999% certain you're mistaken though)

cos they learnt their lesson when ppl with brains and calculators had to demand refunds previously.

this is the main reason i didn't & probably will never order a titan or any other idea that stacks EVERYTHING against the invest-duhs

knc failed this time

posted my 2nd post on KNC forums on my disappointment on my miners and GAWminers was told I could not 'advertise' other asic
companies so just so you guys now don't mention Gawminers.they get miffed...of course no reply (yet) to my concerns..

so posted the following instead we will see if that slips under the wire as well..they likely will delete that for being 'vague' and no
facts to support the claims I made on what they will say is mythical manufacturer that will beat them to market

we will see if they try to have it both ways and the below post sticks

I mean they are not even going thru the motions of 'fake PR' like BFL on competitors won't follow thru would like to see
them getting fired up about someone trying to 'upsurp' their customer base with cc taken, refunds up to 14 days before shipping
and 750mh for 1/2 price of a 350mh 1st batch Titan..not to mention that GAWminers says they will beat KNC to market if they
have to hash on their servers for everyone till they can ship them out..should they be late

looks like worst fears are true ..they are gonna ship a Titan or two before Sept 31st....meet TOS and walk..we MAY in say
1 month get a firmware update to pop the 1st batch titans up to 400mh more or less ...but that is all they have said

too busy watching BTC/LTC tank and such I guess

anyway hope again I am wrong but hell last year they at least had a public battle for customers for BFL this year it is like
they just don't give a f*ck....at least BFL would lie about competitors (was a joke but still)

deafening silence from KNC (they act like only scrypt miner on the planet and hell they prices are a joke too boot...have not changed
for what 2 months or more?)

screwed...... us Titan folks are me thinks.....

my post on knc forums ...will see if it gets deleted

http://forum.kncminer.com/forum/resellers-affilicates/general-questions/54721-is-kncminer-going-to-up-titan-speed-or-give-an-extra-one

er on 2nd thought just in case it goes bye bye again and is deleted my 2nd attempt w/o saying GAWminers by name

quote:

er NO KNC imho will just meet the terms of their TOS they will get out some miners before Sept 31st..the first batch will be 350mh as they have stated with a firmware update to 'hopefully' tweak them to 400mh likely 1 month after shipping which seems to be when we have gotten firmware updates in the past...and there will be NO compensation or increased hash or extra Titan or anything else..due to the fact with NO REFUNDS we are stuck and they don't have to do squat....maximizing profits and minimizing expenses don't ya know...also they have stated they do not plan on any other consumer products after the Titan so we are not so important as when they started last summer. Further this 'deafening silence' on the fact other manufacturer's are claiming they will beat KNC to market (they do have a track record) at 1/2 the price and almost 3x the size of 1st batch units...well seems that we have been cut loose so to speak...hope I'm wrong Searing

unquote:

whatever for those that are interested...or for those are going "man did not get a Titan...missed that bullet"  nice to be you! (heh) Smiley

I guess it is what it is...on all this....

As my understanding, Tity and batch2 Nepy are non refundable, that's clearly listed on the TOS, and we are all fxxked by not receive miners before today, we were just missed the return point, good luck!

Hi,
Did anyone request a refund of batch one Titan but KnC replied it is no refund at all?
I remember batch 1 Titan can be refunded.
What happened?

I'm in the U.S. and am still trying to find a lawyer myself to obtain my refund.
Funny thing is I had a law firm in Stockholm contact me two days ago, ask me for all kinds of personal information yesterday, then wrote me they couldn't represent me because there is a conflict of interest. When I probed them as to what the hell that meant they went silent.

KNC advertised batch 1 and 2 titans will be shipped within quarter 3.

If KNC misses this deadline they've duped the consumer or at the least failed to meet their obligations.

It'd stand to reason that would be grounds for demanding a refund.

They still have through September to technically hold up their end of the agreement. They recently changed the titan picture in their shop to reflect the real product so I'm taking that as a positive sign. Let's hope they follow through.

Oh and I understand their TOC says they can murder your grandmother but that doesn't change the murder.

KNC sure are looking like a one trick pony now with the Neptune and Titan massive failures.

well this likely is my last hurrah ..the knc Oct 2013 Jupiter will just barely (crosses fingers) make me 50btc for my 7.5k with power supply investment

the sp30 and Titan (multipool alts to btc directly)  if I am very very lucky (don't laugh I"m prob way off with current diffs on altcoin and btc tanking)

another 20 coin say...maybe 25 coin

so almost sorta/kinda 2x as much in equip to make 1/2 the coin as the Jupiter did back in the day till now.... grrrr....

well....no need to spell it out here at the current BTC price...you guys can see the same landscape I can...

not attractive at all ....www.coinbase.com looks MUCH more tranquil go that route be modest no pre-orders

...perhaps some baby miners this year and/or next...

but this 5k to 7k per miner or more on PRE-ORDERS well probably good thing home mining is dead one way
to get me on 'the wagon' (i got pre-order fever or did...refunded but the disease still lurks in my soul)

not sure I could mentally handle chucking out say 14k for a miner in Dec 2014 that would only make 9 coin or some such (shudder)
even it was 1.5k a coin..mentally I'd still be tripping over my Oct 2013 7.5k  Jupiter miner that made 50 btc..the mind boggles

last august 550gh  pre-order from KNC was a huge miner..this august pre-orders of what 6TH for stuff in dec? zowie...

nope ...baby miner toys next year at worst and www.coinbase.com .....hold and pray on what I have after this year

(it has to go below 225 for me to lose $$...we also serve who hold and pray to the btc gods)

quite the ride since last summer what..?

Duped would presume ill intention on their part. If they miss their september projection, which has been known for a couple of months now, then I'd say they simply ended up late. They were about a month late last year.

Suppose to say, that statement should mean hashing Q3, don't get me wrong, that is basic ethic require to held a business, imagine that would Apple sale iPhone can't compete Samsung? Never, only better.

and now KNC logic were totally twisted, how do you feel get an iphone 5s at 2014? Still happy but not adequate, even 2 of iPhone 5s I got by now, still can't compete an iPhone 6.

and that time we are offer money for a monster machine, if not so why should we preorder, and if KNC can't guaranty performance why should they put adverts on the website, I deeply hope they can make things different, at least a prefect ending of their last consumer product, I know now they are able to build next gen miner with out preorder money, and please thinking who made you success KNC.

I do make adapters that would allow the for the use of 1200i PSUs with Neptunes and most likely Titans, Searing.  It just uses two PCIe cables instead of one and that bypasses the over current protection.
Definitely cheaper than buying whole new sets of PSUs.  They are in the wild now and no reported issues so far.  Check my post history in this thread for a pic.
Just to say I've been running the PCIe 2-to-1 cables (that I bought from Cablez) on my Neptune for just over a month now. With the cables, my Corsair AX1200i PSUs work great. I'm running at normal speed (475MHz) and the Neptune is hashing at 3.4TH/s. The cables aren't getting warm, which is a good sign.

As a note, I was running three modules off one AX1200i, however I've bought another AX1200i so that at max I run two modules per PSU.  The AX1200i that was running three modules did power off once (in a solid month of running), which I think may have been due to too much current being drawn from it.

Run a Bitcoin node, support the network.

True that.

Although it didn't get quoted I added that their terms and conditions are tight.

It won't stop people from complaining, not that it matters.

I think most people who ordered are hobbyists who still prefer to have their asics.

In the end it's up to KFC to choose whether they'll handle the titans and supplementary neptunes with dignity or not.   Wink
