I've earned 0.00071229 in 30 minutes. On slush I get approx. 0.008 per block. At this rate it will take approx. 5.5 hours to earn 0.008btc However. By entering the last 10 block durations at http://www.csgnetwork.com/timescalc.html it gives an average duration of 5 hours 24 minutes. 10 previous was average 5 hours 16 minutes. So, no real difference there. Might go looking at some other pools to compare. Unless some pool gets super lucky BAN pays the best because it is PPS with no fees and 1% bonus. Except when they don't pay or they reduce your payout PPS rate because they feel like paying you less than they should did you submit a ticket? there are quite a few on this very forum who have submitted a ticket and got paid. so, did you submit a ticket? Probably prefers moaning if the BAN thread is anything to go by. It's fight club over there. lol, small price for him to pay to get to hear himself talk ... so the result of aurel57 and myself questioning that "miscalculation" of shares that was grossly in the favour of BAN ... i.e. every time there was a diff increase BAN profited from it (it was not in their favour the few RARE times there was a diff decrease) ... the result now is that they've repsonded and said they'd fix everyone's payouts rather than only those who knew about it and submitted a ticket. Fuck ... I've caused a problem now

Or when they have "payout bugs"... That's strange, s0br advertises 10% in his sig...........

It went to a 4% bonus and then after the New Year it became 1%.

Fuck ... I've caused a problem now Kano it was not just that it happened for a short time period (as if I had been paid on time with my payouts set for 2 hours) but due to the fact the pool did not make payments for over a week+ so it effected a larger amount. Also when the payments went the other way when the difficulty went down... how many would have noticed their pending payments going up?? heck that is what most expect to see a increase when they mine on a PPS pool, so unless you were watching the moment of difficulty decrease nobody would notice this larger increase in their pending payment. Since payments have been so delinquent people are watching them closer now than ever. Also I have seen my pending payments in the past go up sometimes due to the pool fixing payments that were missed or not done right or payments that did not go thru, but once again nothing is said so most never know what happened. ( this rant was to answer why or how nobody came forward or notice when the difficulty went down and they may have received more pay than they should) These are things that should be fixed with out submitting a "ticket" and sounds like s0br has done this.

I have not mined on slush for over a year and I am glad I tried it out again as it looks like a good day today so far.
Edit: 5 Blocks in the last 6 hours. Nice!

Use your computer to do a ping or route test to the Slush IP. You should receive a reply when you ping stratum.bitcoin.cz

In UK about £40 - £50 including delivery. But I buy all my miners with BTC now. Gonna start swapping them for SP20 though over coming months. I want to get the hash rate as high as possible ready for the reward chop next year.

I've upgraded all of my kit to SP20s & S5s over the last couple of months, so I know how you feel.

Damn someone needs to seriously look into this 10+PH long block issue every single time the pool crosses 10PH these long block times appear. I am not the only one noticing this. it makes absolutely no mathmatical sense what so ever. Unless the pool just cant negotiate the traffic at higher than 10PH.

haha S1's those are dirt cheap on ebay I seen a few go with power supplies for like $75 worth it just for the PSU but I dont think I would mine with the S1 unless your getting free electricity they are going to burn more than they make. S3+'s are going for around $100-$150 even seen a few of those go for like $90 at ebay The S5's are ridiculous at ebay people selling them for $430-450 which is nuts because you can get them direct from bitmain for $370 Gawminers is selling used S4's for $475 I just bought 2 on sunday they will be here tomorrow got my fingers crossed hoping they are in good shape. I dont trust gawminers after their whole paycoin mess. Have a suspiscion they are liquidating there S4's to cover the loss. Or they are upgrading to S5's there are a cpl used SP20's on ebay for like $400-$450 I am considering buying one but man those things are power hungry figure 1.7 THS at 1100w where as the S4 puts out 2.2 THS at 1400w so a used SP20 for $450 + a $200 PSU for 1.7 or a used S4 for $475 built in PSU until gaw miners runs out of them ofcourse. Also hoping they are batch 2 and not the batch 1 with the PSU meltdown issue I bought them on my credit card so i have some protection from the CC company I will do a follow up tomorrow when fedex drops them off and i figure out what batch they are. If all is well will probably order a couple more.

Power wise it looks like the S5 is better suited for my needs. Spondoolies are great but suck power like crazy.
I know it's 1.1TH vs 1.7TH but the S5 uses half the power. So surely that must be more profitable.
The pool is still over 10PH. The VIP accounts must be greedy today.

VIP accounts? Just part of my little conspiracy theory. At least the block was under 20 hours. We're back down to 9.3PH. Who the hell keeps throwing a PH around. Someone must either be renting a ton of gear or has some decent software to switch pools easily. Wouldn't like to change that many miners one at a time.
