Why does Slush's scoring system punish heavily for adding another worker?

This is not by design. The block will get recalculated and you then should see a reward around 0.0012, I estimate

Yes, I think you're right. Now it's showing none reward, so apparently recalculation is on.

Wow the pool jumped 4 TH/s from last night (at my time). ASICs, someone is ether testing or just hope on to slush.

I really want a chart to see the highest hashers not just block finders.....

17000 GH/s  hopefully we might find a few more blocks now. 1-2 good days to 3-4 bad days is no fun.

Now this is interesting ! Asicminer activating a lot of new block erupters out of the factory ?
I wanted to invest in asic but as I said in another post I think that very soon 50gh/s will be the minimum to hash so I will refrain and sadly just watch very soon :/

Throwing 250-300 mhash/s is kind of pointless with figures as low as this =X

18531   2013-06-12 12:43:26   3:23:57   44489992   739   0.00024174   241115    25.10480000    98 confirmations left

Previous block was kinder

18530   2013-06-12 09:19:29   0:53:55   9964643   211   0.00061439   241092    25.07820010    75 confirmations left

Odd that even though our hash rate is up, we don't seem to be finding blocks much faster.

Throwing 250-300 mhash/s

Is that with a HD 5850 ?

yes, I'd either be mining or doing other stuff so overall electrical usage is negligible.

it was at 21.2 when the last diff went up, so 18.5 is pleasing to see
