Slush, you on this?
It looks like a problem with www cache. All shares are being logged on all backends, so don't worry, they are counted. Recalculating reward later is just a one liner.

So, you're saying we shouldn't be worried that nearly 2 hours of submitted shares aren't being counted on our account page? That's a lot of down time if it isn't true. Yay, block ended and reward of .0000017! switching to backup until this gets fixed.

Even if the shares will be re-accounted, the last block took more than 5 hours. The problems started, according to my graphs, around 18:20 GMT. Pitty.

And we have just found another block! A short round after a long one. Actually there should be few short rounds after this record 5 hours round. I happily keep mining, I'm sure that rewards will be all fine after this is all sorted out

Probably Slush will recalculate the rewards again, but with missing count of submited shares I think this will be hard to be done

It is a problem with SQL, after so long use the share table reached its all time limit. This is not related to 5 hour round, but to total pool uptime (starting from december). Those shares were not counted in database in fact. Fortunately all shares are also counted separately on each backend, so I only need to merge this data from backends now.

OK, the rewards were recalculated. To compansate all moral damages I don't take 2% fee for rounds 6933 and 6934, but instead I give you 1 BTC extra. Those rounds are worth for you 51 BTC each.
If for anyone the rewards for those two rounds were not recalculated correctly, please report here and I will fix this tomorrow.

you guys fly off the handle awful easy over nothing... a 5 hour block a 5 minute block.
The issue wasn't that we were in a 5 hour block, it was that for over 2 hours the account page wasn't showing a true total of shares submitted. It just stopped counting them, or so it appeared. Looks good now, Slush.

Hi pekv2, I worked around this bug with the Firefox extension "HTTPS Everywhere" ( https://www.eff.org/https-everywhere). In order to work with the pool's site you have to create a custom ruleset (as described at https://www.eff.org/https-everywhere/rulesets). For mining.bitcoin.cz it looks like this: <ruleset name="mining.bitcoin.cz"> <target host="mining.bitcoin.cz" />
<rule from="^http://mining.bitcoin.cz/" to="https://mining.bitcoin.cz/" /> <securecookie host="^mining\.bitcoin\.cz$" name=".*" /> </ruleset> Put this in a file called mining.bitcoin.cz.xml in the HTTPSEverywhereUserRules folder in your Firefox profile. After restart you will only ever see https for the site. Also your cookie will be marked as secure and thus only be sent over https. Maybe you have to log out and in again to have this take effect. HTH
