They don't keep your funds after the decimals. They just don't allow asks or bids with more decimals than the amount they allow. At least that's I understand the changes.

How is that stealing? you need to check definitions. Its to stop people putting orders of say $4838.001 to beat the $4838 order.
Yes, it is definition but where did go your funds after 1-st decimal number? Sample order:
1.06BTC for 4868.2$=5160,292$ ... =5160.2 or 5160.3?

as poordeveloper said, in your example not the 5160.292 is rounded, it is the price of your order, so 4868.2. They simply do not allow anymore to place an order of eg 4848.21 or  4848.212 (only 1 decimal place allowed).
If you try to place an order with to many decimal places, you will get an error message.

But I'm still sure that won't interest the "overbidding" bots. To damage them you have to make +-10$ as step size (at current price), but this would also damage most other traders.
So it is and always will be rubbish trying to damage overbidding bots, by reducing the allowed prices.

And of course all these changes did not improve kraken performance at all.. if you notice any, it is mostl likely because 50% of all traders went to another exchange.
I like Kraken usually, but I don't like the actual situation and that kraken needs that long to solve it.

2. Transfer and servers?!?
That's what I've read, there are no other info. It sounds weird to me as well, this is the reason I was asking here.

I had that same error just a minute ago but everything seems to be working now. Not sure if a glitch or a update for everyone.

edit: it came back again but my deposit came through, also several glitches on putting a trade order but worked on 4th attempt.

Site is currently having massive issues, cannot make any trades and cannot withdraw, if you click on anything to withdraw you get the below message.

Quote
This action is not available for tier level 3

Your current funding tier level (3) is insufficient for this functionality. Please further verify your account to increase your tier level and funding limits.

This is extremely unacceptable.

Support give me answer for my ticket about using % for truncate.
Post it here, may be for somebody it will be helpfull:'%' should be a suffix. Therefore it would be 'price':'0.12345678%'.

Kraken support is currently AFK with no updates from the exchange about the current issues with the site (trading not possible, withdrawals disabled).

Same here, i also can't withdraw. I get a message saying my tier level (3) isn't high enough

I found this thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/69xiv6/kraken_has_disabled_deposits_and_withdrawals/

from 3 months ago where the same thing happened. At that time it was caused by a bug.

let's they get up and running again soon

I found this thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/69xiv6/kraken_has_disabled_deposits_and_withdrawals/

The exact message i get almost a day now...And it's not the first time and i guessing that probably wont be the last.
I also have big (not say huge) problem to put an order. I lost already a wave and as i see it,i will loose another one soon!
This is also a..."bug"?! And if it is,why there is no Announce from their side? Total unprofessional! Angry
