EDIT: If transparent mining reveals the node's ability to forge, there's also the incentive to bring down large holders to improve your own forging income.
how about this?

This reminded me...

From https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laconic_phrase:

Quote
After invading Greece and receiving the submission of other key city-states, Philip II of Macedon sent a message to Sparta: "If I win this war, you will be slaves forever." In another version, he warned: "You are advised to submit without further delay, for if I bring my army into your land, I will destroy your farms, slay your people, and raze your city." According to both accounts, the Spartan ephors replied with one word: "If" (αἴκα).

PS: There is no way to find IP of a forging node if it wants to hide the address.

Which method does he suggests?

I think they ran in a small problem. That's why they quickly set it high. Wink

I also thought about this. if I had 1M+ account, I would use a VPN or Tor.
As long as I am poor I will have to defend myself with cooking gear (knife, hot water, chillipowder)
I made a test for this and can reliably (95%) fend off 2 skindheads or 1 ninja, or 4 US soldiers.
In severe cases you have to resort to a heavy pan.

Not holding US soldiers in high regard, eh? Smiley

I am just speaking from experience. when the 4 soldiers kicked my door I told them I forgot the pass phrase and I knew what would happen then..
they filled my bathtube and tried waterboarding but didn't detect my previously installed minisnorkel.
after hours of snorkeling they gave up and believed me.

It's the "anonymous" part they are going after. That means Nxt, too.
