Can someone help with Nicehash and BeamV2 I'm using the string below and can't connect

miner.exe --algo beamhashII --server stratum://beamv2.usa-new.nicehash.com --port 3378 --ssl 1 --user myaddress

Hi,

this is how RainbowMiner software creates the string:

For Nvidia:

miner.exe --server beamv2.eu-new.nicehash.com --port 3378 --user youraddress --pass x --algo BeamHashII --cuda 1 --opencl 0

For AMD:

miner.exe --server beamv2.eu-new.nicehash.com --port 3378 --user youraddress --pass x --algo BeamHashII --cuda 0 --opencl 1

But you should be fine with that one, too:

miner.exe --server beamv2.eu-new.nicehash.com --port 3378 --user youraddress --pass x --algo BeamHashII

what does it mean when i get a lot of connection timed out/write timed out? and the share accepted ms speed are very high like over 5000?

anyway bumped up 1080ti to 70%/+175core/+0 mem = 49.7sol/s
1070ti 70%/+250/+0 = 40.1sol/s

and the 1080ti watt reading is now 175 as oppsed to 150 before. is this a Gminer bug that it gives false Watt readings occasionally?

It's problem with your internet connection or with mining pool, check ping output to pool.

GMiner get power consumption from system(nvidia driver library), you also can check power consumption with nvidia-smi utility.

I am sure that the problems you listed are not caused by the Gminer. These problems are caused by your internet connection and your video cards overclocking setting.

i think figured it out. seems i had to go to Nvidia control panel and change settings to "Maximum performance" instead of "Optimal Power". now the Watt reading is correct.

also my mining rig which is on wifi was too far away from router= i moved it closer and ping is around 80ms now consistently and no connection errors.

getting expected hashs now. seems consistent to whattomine estimates. i am getting ~95sol combined.

1070ti 75%/+250core/+500mem = ~42sol
1080ti 75%/+190core/+700mem = ~53sol

i am happy now

In newer versions, the miner is crashing with my palit RTX 2070's mining GRIN. Tried updating the drivers, but no luck. Older version works, and e.g. BEAMV2 is working for the latest version. I can also mine GRIN on other RTX2070 cards. Anyone have any idea why?

Miner crashing on cuckarood29? Have you tried on stock GPU settings?

AS many time before it was a riser issue, and not even on the cards tested. Very strange that it only affected GRIN.

Looking fwd to that new version, a game changer!

I have the same with mining beam on a rtx 2080 rig, almost instantly gpus crash and are dropped. Only way to recover is a cold boot.
MTP is running fine for weeks.

Think I will have to take a look at the risers aswell.

It's an odd world. On another rig, the only coin not working was MTP. This I concluded was that there was not enought speed on the M2 Riser. With the message about increased GRIN speed, I just hade to order a RTX 2070 Super. Will it do 10 ... Currently minning @ 247.7 Gp/s with GMiner GRIN.

If you use the cuckaroo31 algorithm for mining GRIN coin, then I have the same problem. When I using the cuckaroo29 algorithm everything works fine.

The RTX 2070 Super was a bit dissapointing on BEAM on the same wattage (+5%). GRIN not to bad, passing 8 G/s.

Any news on the new version?

For normal operation of the miner and mining of Beam coins, you need to use the algorithm function   --algo beamhash
