Yeah that match sucked.  But all the others were great..  Even the girls!  Erosa vs Jaynes ended in a split decision but man..  What a banger.  8 out of 13 fights didn’t go to decision.  It was a really good card imho.

So..  It’s a couple of weeks before 264.  For a PPV, I’m not really too pumped for this line up.

Even Though Medeiros has a Filipino and Native Hawaiian descent, I have gone with a more technical fighter but still, Yancy is one durable dude for the fight to go the distance but it is not enough to win the fight with Damir Hadzovic is a more technical fighter in my opinion,

Julia Avila is giving pressure on Stoliarenko you can see who's durable, tough, and the most dominant in the first round Avila is seen smiling while fighting Julija Stoliarenko, she can surely see that Stoliarenko got hurt, and until Stoliarenko had given her back to Julia Avila and end it with a submission, it was a beautiful fight from start to finish Julia Avila is dominant.

Actually, I am not bored with each fight and each fight has surely cater different style for a fighter.

I had totally wrong predictions for this UFC event, Gane was much better than Volkov and he fully deserved to win.
He is probably one of the fastest heavyweight fighters and he can challenge other top fighters soon with his prefect 9-0 record, and he even called out Francis Ngannou for title fight.
Derrick Lewis will probably fight Ngannou next, but maybe Gane can fight with Stipe Miocic.

I had totally wrong predictions for this UFC event, Gane was much better than Volkov and he fully deserved to win.

I just placed two bets for this event which was Ciryl Gane and Tim Means and both won and i was not confident about the rest of the fight card.

He is probably one of the fastest heavyweight fighters and he can challenge other top fighters soon with his prefect 9-0 record, and he even called out Francis Ngannou for title fight.
Derrick Lewis will probably fight Ngannou next, but maybe Gane can fight with Stipe Miocic.

The next title fight will be Francis Ngannou and Derrick Lewis and that is almost settled and then the winner will face Jon Jones and that is what Dana White said in one of the press conference and in the mean time Ciryl Gane and Stipe Miocic can battle it out.

What a card last night was. I actually missed a few fights, because I didn't realize it was such a early start. I found the Gane fight a little underwhelming, and I really thought Volkov would have come out with something more. While the scorecards more or less reflected Gane's dominance, I didn't think it was as wide of a gap. I thought Volkov at least secured either the 1st or 4th round. Can't argue with the result though, Gane just did enough.

I agree with you and Sal D'Amato and disagree with the two other judges. For me Volkov won the first round. Moreover UFC stats are clear, he landed 25 strikes in the first round against only 16 strikes for Ciryl Gane. Even if his strikes were mostly low kicks he was the one attacking and dominating the fight.

Anyway I don't give him another round and I 'm convinced he was the overall loser of the bout.

yeah, getting into those details can be overwhelming sometimes. If it was a closer fight that might be a problem. But Volkov lacked the consistency he had in the first round and that was the major factor of his loss. Looking at it now, I can't really figure out what he would have to do to stay relevant in the top. Actually, if it's just conditioning then that is a major and maybe unsolvable issue for him.

I think it is alright for the judges to give Gane the first round even though Sal D'Amato has given the first round to Volkov, I have seen that Gane had withstood each strike of Alexander Volkov, and Gane has also given a variety of strikes aswell, I will also give the 1st round for Ciryl Gane, not being bias, the judges have seen a technical advantage on Gane's part, that  they have given that round to him, and even though Volvok would take that lead of strike the difference is pretty much unnoticeable, Ciryl Gane's speed was dominating that first round,

Even though Gane succeeded in defeating Volkov with absolute numbers in that fight, in my opinion the fight between Gane vs Volkov was quite boring and even far from the fight I expected, I think the fighting style is almost the same as that shown by Gane in the previous fight against Rozenstruik, which is when Gane fights more tactically, and tends to be more safe and we can see how Gane is just trying to give Volkov a destructive blow slowly in that fight.
At the beginning of the fight, I personally expected there to be a few gane blow that could Knock Out volkov but in fact there were no brutal attacks that were launched by gane to volkov at all.

The magic left hand of Conor McGregor will work against 145 pound division fighters and once he moved up he did not find the same success against elite fighters and if he looses this fight he can venture into other avenue like boxing or he will be forced to move down to 145 pound once again and i doubt he will be willing to cut that much weight when he made a billion dollars.

Gilbert Burns and Stephen Thompson is an interesting fight, Karate against ground specialist.

Tai Tuivasa and Greg Hardy depends who can land the first punch.

Sean O'Malley fight depends upon how he manages his fitness.

My conclusion with this I think that Ciryl Gane is half ready for a Francis Ngannou fight, he can surely outspeed Ngannou but he can not hurt Francis Ngannou that much, but before Francis Ngannou, I think Stipe Miocic could be the right opponent for him if he can accumulate power in his strikes in preparation for the Ngannou fight.

Agree. Gane should be tested by Miocic. Or anyone else that was close to a belt fight. But I think, that Stepe will win Gane. And if that happens, it will be an awkward situation for Dana. He could not give Gane a fight against Ngannou and we will see Ngannou vs Miocic 3

I don't understand why this is interim title, and even this is a shock even for Francis Ngannou team, because his last fight was only few months ago in March 27th.
There was speculation that Derrick Lewis should fight with Francis Ngannou and it's not clear why that is now canceled, and Gane just finished and won his fight with Alexander Volkov.

I'd say standard UFC shenanigans, and from what I have read and what has been going on recently, it's mostly due to money. Now, there are both sides to that. As I wrote in a post earlier and as reported per Bloodyelbow, it's a matter of pay, and since Ngannou defied the almighty UFC, they decided to punish him. This has nothing to do with Lewis being ready for a title shot, UFC would not go to those lengths to accommodate Lewis, so it's purely a show of force by UFC.

Now it's chaos time in Heavyweight division of UFC and it seems that Gane profited a lot from all this failed negotiation with Dana White and Francis Ngannou team.
Nobody is even talking about Jon Jones anymore, and he is probably taking some heavy drugs to keep both his muscles and mental health during this period.
I believe that Derrick Lewis can beat Gane and than he will probably fight with Ngannou, but let's wait and see what really happens in next few weeks.

One cancelation for UFC 264 as Louis Smolka withdraw from his fight with Sean O'Malley and UFC is looking for some replacement fighter.

In any case, Sean O’Malley does not have a dance partner for UFC 264. Merab wants to be the replacement. I reckon the oddmakers might make a mistake on who to make the favorite for this fight hehe.

Yup! Gane is indeed a technical fighter that could surely win fights even though he doesn't have that power in his strikes, and you are right the durability of Volkov is really impressive as well, but I am just concern for Ciryl Gane if he would fight with a much durable opponent, that technical performance he has shown is not really enough Francis Ngannou could literally ignore his strike and go with a barrage of strikes because he could not be hurt by Gane's strikes, But let's just see if Ciryl Gane could improve this, sure enough, he could not have all major aspect of a fighter.
