Thank you for posting your predictions about these two fights but what do you think of Irene Aldana vs Yana Kunitskaya and Stephen Thompson vs Gilbert Burns fights? I don't know if you have seen it but along with the triple winnings bonus on Dustin Poirier vs Conor McGregor, there is a double winnings bonus up to 200$ on a treble from Marlon Vera on Stake.

Don’t change your picks on my account but I’m on the other side with Kunitskaya and Gilbert Burns.  Aldana missed weight by 3.5 lbs while Thompson vs Burns should be closer imho.  At 2.45, the books are giving Burns too much value.  The only concern, Burns just got starched by Usman...  Then again Thompson got starched by Pettis.  Pettis!  The guy isn’t known for knocking out people.

Looking at the face off it looked like Mcgregor was raring to go. I cannot wait for the main card I know that Wonder Boy is fighting too and I loved him when I have seen him fight. Poirier looks much thicker than Mcgregor though and I am concerned that he will have the best of Mcgregor again. Apart from the main event what other fight is really interesting tonight? I am probably not going to be able to dedicate all my time to watchin tonight so might just pick times where the most interesting fights are happening. I have a bet on Mcgregor just because I am a fan and do not really know anyone outside him, poirer and wonder boy.

Few more hours left for start of UFC264 but I am not really excited to see main even after McGregor tried to create some fake fuss saying that Dustin will pay with his life for disrespecting him.
Maybe this was all about that money that Connor promised to give to his donation fund that got delayed, but anyway it won't help him much in this fight.

These MMA fighters should have a shin conditioning regiment similar to Thai boxers. We cannot expect these type of injuries to stop in the octagon if the fighters have not done the proper conditioning. Conor’s shin was not hard enough for execution of that type of technique.

I don't think anyone can recover from that kind of injury so quickly because they both damaged their physical and mental health due to the pain they suffered and also it will take a long therapy to be able to get back to his normal self. so for now, I guess we can count McGregor out in the league. Damn! it would have been a nice fight and unfortunately, the ending wasn't expected by everyone but that's just how it goes where sometimes we cannot expect what will gonna happen.

I did and ooohhh that was painful and Dustin wasn't realize it I guess because he did land some punch before it stopped and I never thought it would end this way, just sending prayers to Connor for his past recovery. I don't know if there will be another fight for him when he recovers and I will never doubt he could (I mean he got the money) but we know the mentality of McGregor and he's that persistent. Injuries are unexpected and I guess he gonna make a kick or want to back a little on that stunt but it happened already and congrats to those who bet to Dustin.

I don't know if there will be another fight for him when he recovers and I will never doubt he could (I mean he got the money) but we know the mentality of McGregor and he's that persistent. Dana White will put the fight together and that is a great excuse for the 4th fight and i am sure we will be seeing that in the future.

Just as I expected, Dustin wins in first round and I got my triple winning bet from Stake
I didn't see anything special from Conor and he would lose even if he didn't break his ankle, so I see no reason in making them fight again like Dana White is saying, but I guess he want's to milk this for money as much as he can.
What I didn't expect in this fight card is to see Tai Tuivasa and Gilbert Burns winning their fights.

That was a horrific injury by Conor Mcgregor. Really a frustrating ending for The Notorius and it's just on the opening round.

McGregor even amid pain, states that the fight is not over. Maybe just out of frustration.

There's no telling if he will come back again fighting once he recovered from this bad injury. It's an unfinished business with Dustin and the trilogy should have ended and sealed if only the fight goes through without McGregor's injury happened. There might be a 4th meeting.

Other UFC fighters would be feeling the same but the emotional thought that would tick him is likely that he's not that big anymore with that injury.

The key to Dustin Poirier victory in today's match was his left hand jab which managed to knock Conor McGregor down in the first round, it looks like the hit was so strong that Conor McGregor looked staggered, and with today fight results will allow Conor McGregor to rest for a long time and realized he is no longer a scary fighter in the ring and to be honest I was actually hoping the fight would last a few more rounds but it turned out to be short, I think from today onwards Conor McGregor will never again berate his opponent before the fight starts and Of course Dustin Poirier left jab managed to silence all the bullshit Conor McGregor has done so far.

Im sure that this is it with Conor. With each fight he looked worse and worse. I think that he will retire. When he heals his injury, it will take time and no one will give him top contenders anymore.
