And what do you mean too bad the bookies don’t agree with you?  If they did then Gane would be having a worse line that what the books are laying them for right now.  I’m on the other side...  I think Ngannou could finish Gane within three rounds imho.  Stake has Ngannou at 1.94.  I think that’s value.  I think we’d be watching the match and realize he should be at least the 1.50 favorite.

Considering the vastly different opinions here on who's going to win, and how I think the bookies might have got it right. I mean for me, if I was to place a  bet on Ngannou it would be via TKO/KO just to bump up the odds a little more, and to be honest that's probably the most likely outcome if he was to win. I could possibly see a submission maybe, remember that Ngannou actually started his career with a bunch of submissions rather than knockouts.

For me the logic behind Gane is; He's the most technical, and will likely out point Ngannou. Therefore, he has the upper hand in the decision, potential knockout, and submission. Whereas, in all likelihood Ngannou is going there for the knockout, and is unlikely to win by points. Submission like I said still undecided on that, but Gane probably has the technical ability to prevent any sort of submission.

I'm kind of hoping Ngannou does win to be honest.

^  Ngannou looked like he could throw some nasty leg kicks too.  Watch the vid I posted above.  He wasn’t throwing them much but you could see Miocic was bothered everytime Ngannou threw them.

I watched it. Maybe I am way to much fan of muay thai. But I believe that thai fighter train their legs so hard, turn them into stones, that they can win just by blocking kick. As if opponent kicks the wall. I see Ngannou as a puncher only, while Gane is more universal fighter.

Muay thai fighters have rarely dominated in the UFC though, so I wouldn't say they're any more effective than other styles. Wrestlers, BJJ or GJJ seem to be the most dominant through the years. I mean the Gracies created it to prove that their style was the best.

Talking in terms of records Ngannou's is longer. Plus, I suspect Ngannou has grown up fighting. I'm not sure about Gane's history, though I do think I recall watching snippets of Ngannou when he was younger back at home fighting amateurishly.

Well said. I would replace "genetics" with "upbringing", because I think that words you hear and deeds you see while growing up are way more important for what you become than molecules in your body, but overall yeah, that's what makes you a champ.

I didn't know I wanted this until I saw this. Absolutely, make it happen. Alright, I think in a boxing match Fury knocks Ngannou from pillar to post, but it'll be entertaining since it'll just be like the Wilder fight. Wilder possess huge knockout power just like Ngannou. Alright, Ngannou probably isn't as technical at Wilder, but Wilder isn't exactly that technical himself.

Could be fun, I'm thinking Ngannou might even not be bothered about his fight with Gane, and Gane takes the easily. Think I'll definitely be betting a little more on Gane now. Ngannou seems distracted, and considering his options rather than fighting for his life to keep the belt. You just know Gane's going in with every intention of walking out with that belt, no matter how hard he has to work for it.

I want this fight aswell, but in getting this fight early Ciryl Gane needs to win Francis Ngannou just wanting that boxing action and you are right he is pretty torn in signing his contract if he wins the unification, and you are right it seems that Francis Ngannou is pretty much distracted right now but distracted or not I am going with Ciryl Gane all the way, the Speed and technicality of his strike and that accuracy, and he is not moving like a heavyweight he is more like a light heavyweight or a middleweight to me, So definitely going with Gane,

But Francis Ngannou in a boxing max you are right he is like Wilder but in my opinion, Francis Ngannou even though not technical with his punches he has a lot to showcase that Deontay Wilder but Tyson Fury as a boxer is pretty much skillful enough to give a hard time for Ngannou and with Fury's Reach advantage on Ngannou this is going to be something really new for Francis Ngannou fighting an opponent with that reach advantage.

I'm hearing that the Michel Pereira, and Joaquin Buckley fights are off. Shame, probably the two I was most looking forward too, especially Michel's as I'm a fan, despite him having a very suspect gas tank, and a little bit flamboyant, though I guess that's why I like watching him as do so many others. I was looking forward to seeing how Buckley bounces back from his kick into fame, and then hitting a bit of a rough patch before returning with a win. Would like to see him to start to kick back into gear.

And some bad news, Holloway was supposed to fight Volk for another title shot at 145 but sadly Holloway got injured.  There are some rumors going around that TKZ could be the replacement fighter.  But I’m hoping for Chikadze to win real quick next Saturday and hopefully slide himself in there as the replacement fighter.  I guess we’ll see.

In my opinion, Francis Ngannou's reply was because he feels that Tyson Fury is underestimating him, well that is my point of view and we might not get that kind of fight for now but Francis Ngannou really loves boxing he was really torn in signing the contract because he wants to push his boxing so much, and I think even though it seems very tempting to see these two fight, it will need to wait and I think that Francis Ngannou can surely become a Deontay Wilder type of boxer but has more explosion and a lot to show inside the ring, well even though I love Francis Ngannou in the octagon I also want to see him inside a boxing ring and live his dream to the fullest,

But I am supporting Ciryl Gane winning against Ngannou, I really think that Gane can cater to us a much more exciting being a heavyweight champion, I really love the guy he is just like dancing around inside the octagon while fighting.

Feel bad for Max Holloway but the fight will be on March 6 and given the time frame it is not enough for recovery also curious about the fighter that will replace him, and also hoping for Giga Chikadze to win this coming fight aswell.

Maybe Dana will consider Cejudo vs Volkanovski. He has lots of lbs to gain if it is even possible on short notice. I'd like to see that happen, he had climbed up defeating the fastest MMA fighters before, and still has it, it's a wonder he hasn't fought for over a year already. He requested in his Twitter and also called Jake Paul like everyone else. Feel bad for Max, if Chikadze will be picked, it will be a full kickboxing fight.

If he's the only one available and if Alexander Volkanovski would consider fighting him aswell and right now Henry Cejudo is the only one right now that volunteers to fight Alexander Volkanovski, a retired UFC fighter that has a Flyweight Belt, Bantamweight Belt, and now wants to have his very own Featherweight Belt, and what will be next to Cejudo when he won the Featherweight Belt he might retire again, so he can secure a copy of the belt, 

And clearly just an opinion of Alexander Gustafsson, and a teammate to Khamzat Chimaev, he thinks that Khamzat Chimaev would make Kamaru Usman Sleeps, and looking at his viewpoint, I think he can say something about Khamzat because he sure sees the man trained, and he said that if given another fight that may give him a shot to the title shot, he is so sure that Khamzat Chimaev will make the Nigerian Nightmare Sleeps, and I also think that same, just like what I think about the Ciryl Gane VS Francis Ngannou fight, Ciryl Gane will surely win that 95%

It seems all the best fights recently are getting cancelled. Hopefully, the Izzy vs Whittaker takes place as that's probably the most exciting fight for me. Volk news is unfortunate.

I wouldn’t mind if it happened tbh but really if Cejudo wins he would be fucking up 145 like he did 135 after winning the belt then retiring.  Lol.  So I’m sticking to if Chikadze almost doesn’t break a sweat if he wins vs Kattar, he’ll be in for a title match.

I don't know if the hacking incident was connected because recently Kamaru Usman has posted to his social media pertaining to his haters choking themselves to death or killing themselves in the process, or his post was due to a hacking incident, or the podcast just think of it as Kamaru Usman's social media account has been breech, but then again he later explained and said this

"Let me clear this up, I know that was tough. It was 4 am in the morning, it was a little slizzered and obviously, I typed that the wrong way," he said in the video.

And for the Muslim Salikhov VS, Michel Pereira definitely be going with Muslim Salikhov, I always appreciate a Dagestan fighter even though he just has a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu his striking is superb, and for the Calvin Kattar VS, Giga Chikadze definitely will go with Chikadze a more technical fighter than Kattar in my opinion.

Edit: And just in Charles Oliveira now wants to fight fellow champion Alexander Volkanovski, or Kamaru Usman, looks like Oliveira wants more belt than the usual or just wants to prove something.

If you asked me a year ago, I would say that Francis does not have (for the time being) enough star power for promoters to be interested. But since then Askren / TWood vs Paul happened and that made me think that star power (like in the McGregor case) is not important anymore. Because T-Wood wouldn't have the star power to save his life. So yeah, in this day and age, someone might even see this as a good opportunity. Nice of Francis thinking he could dictate the rules LOL. Come on my guy, you know the biggest draw dictates the rules, and that's not you at the moment (maybe one day, but not now).

Michel Pereira vs Muslim Salikhov and Raoni Barcelos vs Victor Henry were all cancelled. 

The matches left I’m looking forward to most are Gabriel Benítez vs TJ Brown, Court McGee vs Ramiz Brahimaj, Bill Algeo vs Joanderson Brito, Brandon Royval vs Rogério Bontorin and the main event.

This is for the hype, and yes typical entertainment, if they see a lot of fans want this to happen it can sure happen, and Attention to details Francis Ngannou tweeted that after he handle the Jan 22 fight which is the UFC 270 and he is referring to Ciryl Gane, and I think he is focused aswell to fight Ciryl Gane, he surely wants to prove that he is badass and strongest of all heavyweights whether it will be of MMA or Boxing.

No, It can't be happening, Muslim Salikhov withdraw from the fight for an undisclosed reason, that is a shame because after the Main fight I don't really like the other fights other than the fight with the king of kung fu, well better look for other fights maybe Katlyn Chookagian vs Jennifer Maia, or the Silvana Gomez Juarez vs Vanessa Demopoulos fights but I will check all fighter first, and I think your link doesn't work in my country but no worries, still thank you for sharing.

Money will settle it. Fury I think will not agree to MMA rules, it's his party that will demand bigger rewards to make this possible. It will be funny to change rules like MMA gloves. But if they want a circus, Ngannou will probably agree to boxing with MMA gloves for 50:50 rewards.

They'd be making a history with this match. It's possible today seeing how Connor started it with Floyd and the Paul brothers.
