Yup..  Always put your money in the more active guy.  How many years was Nick Diaz in the sidelines..  And when was his last win?  Around 10 years ago?  That’s a long time.  But I’m skipping it from s betting perspective.  I’ll just get my popcorn and soda and enjoy the match.
I do agree with you but i think this is going to be the last fight for Robbie Lawler as well so you cannot make a conclusive decision on how this fight will go but Robbie being active and a tough fighter he does have the chance to win, the amount of time Nick Diaz was in the sidelines because they were flagged for smoking marijuana is the main reason he was not interested in returning to fight even though they relaxed the weed rule Grin.

I don't know how UFC will pull it off, but I am sure this is the last fight in the UFC for both of them. Actually, I do. Lawler loses and get's cut. Diaz wins and takes a 45-year sabatical. This fight does nothing for me. It does nothing for the rankings. It's nothing more that Tito vs Silva, but in MMA.

WOW! will join this later and would just fix my picks on the whole event, pretty much I have my picks on the   main event, the Alexander Volkanovski VS Brian Ortega fight and Curtis Blaydes VS Jairzinho Rozenstruik fight, hopefully, I could get those free bets.

Well, a lot has changed and USADA have changed rules in punishing athletes who will be tested with 11-nor-9-carboxy-tetrahydrocannabinol, they should have done this early, Nick Diaz has 3 times tested positive after the fight, 1 fight should be a winning record for him, not a No Contest, surely enough it is almost 6 years after Nick Diaz has returned to UFC, but his opponent has 4 consecutive wins but still active since August 29, 2020, his last fight with Neil Magny.

Diaz vs Lawler fight will show not who is the best striker, wrestler, well prepared, but who is just in a better shape.

Nick Diaz record shows that it is hard to knock him out; Lawler is a perfect striker. This weekend will see how one veteran beats crap out of another. It will be hard to watch, as I predict that Nick will eat all punches Lawler throw.

^  Free money guys and all it takes is around 5 minutes of your time.  And it’s fun.

Anyway here’s another one from Fortune Jack this time.  You bet on the main event and if your pick loses via decision, you get your money back:  https://fortunejack.com/promotions/ufc-266

I’m not sure what FJ’s thought process here is but this is an easy spot to lay some action on Ortega.  If Volk wins it’s most likely via decision.

I am expecting the fight to go to a decision unless Nick Diaz comes up with a submission move and surprises Robbie Lawler. The problem is that Nick Diaz is not fighting from 2015 and his last win was in 2011 and i must be dreaming to see someone like that to win after 10 years and the last win for Robbie Lawler was in 2017 and that too against Donald Cerrone who was moving up in weight. My pick will be Robbie Lawler because he was facing high quality opponents while Nick Diaz was retired even though it was not official.

Jon Jones arrested again, and this time for domestic violence with multiple charges by Las Vegas Metro Police!
He became hall of famer but this guy is never going back in octagon with that behavior and Colby Covington called him a scumbag after this.

Everyone who follows the life and career of Jon Jones were expecting some sort of news like this as he is known for messing up his life and getting arrested all the time. The situation right now is not clear whether he was violent with his fiance which i doubt as they are together for a very long time. It is better for him to retire for good and get his life straight and if he want to vent his aggression he should be fighting now, but that is not giving him the motivation and hence he is taking a hiatus.

Sad to see that someone with a lot of talent is messing up his career and by the age of 40 he will be bankrupt if he keeps on piling up police arrest like these.

^ This should be an easy one for Curtis. I think he's just a really good grappler. So he is going to take the fight to the ground and if he does so it will be a really long night for Jairzinho. Curtis just needs to close the gap and score takedown and then use his ground and pound.
This fight does have the feeling that Dana is looking to ease Curtis back into the limelight, and not give him too hard of a fight after being knocked out by Derrick last time out. Though, I'll be honest it's usually these types of fight that my  bets fall victim too. Although, I'm still confident in Curtis he'll be wanting to prove a point that the knockout he suffered last time was a blip, and hopefully start that hype train again. I quite like Curtis' personality outside of fighting, he seems like a genuinely good guy.

Well, his kid just got baptized, and nothing says Christian celebration than domestic violence. Honestly, was just a matter of time. What I am interested in is to see how the UFC brass will react to this. And if it goes how I think it will, a suspension will catapult Jones to another organization. But with his infrequent fighting, I haven't thought of him as a part of that organization anyway.

I don't think this will affect Jones position in the UFC. After all, this is not his first problem with the law. Besides, such talented and controversial fighters are hens that lay golden eggs for the UFC. In my opinion, it's almost impossible for Jones to get suspended. However there may be something else that we don't know and that could have an impact, but so far no one seems too surprised by the new Jones affair.

That is a shame and with this pandemic, he is doing something like this, talks about indecency, and with that multiple charges against him it will be hard for him to return to the Octagon now, and I think UFC will surely do something about it.

My picks for the event are Morales at 1.69 and Daukas, Andrade parlay at 2.17.  Just small bets for fun but trying to be safe and not to lose money too.  Lol.  The rest are just pop and popcorn.

Anyway Stake has their own thing going for the event:  https://promotions.stake.com/ufc-266-triple-winnings/

Triple your winnings in selected matches if your pick finishes the fight.

he does look fit in this interview, he gained weight and seems decent except for that uni mustache. it would really be upsetting not to see him again fight in the cage because of this behavior. UFC is very protective of their image so they might do something about it.

nick Diaz's look is almost unrecognizable. he had grown old, if he can't keep his hands up in this fight lawler will throw all the strikes nick didn't get being MIA for years.

I am getting ready to watch UFC266 in few hours and I placed some bets on Volkanovski to win in main event, but I had to share one huge photo transformation for Paddy Pimblett who won his UFC fight just two weeks ago on September 4.
I said it before, this weight cuts are sick not normal and they are going to kill someone in future.

Oh yes, Stake.com is having its triple winnings on selected fights, mainly the main 3 fights so the qualifying fights would be

Alexander Volkanovski vs Brian Ortega
Valentina Shevchenko vs Lauren Murphy
Nick Diaz vs Robbie Lawler

sad to say the Curtis Blaydes VS Jairzinho Rozenstruik didn't make it into the triple winnings but it is still ok because I am still going with the Main Event one.

he does look fit in this interview, he gained weight and seems decent except for that uni mustache. it would really be upsetting not to see him again fight in the cage because of this behavior. UFC is very protective of their image so they might do something about it.

nick Diaz's look is almost unrecognizable. he had grown old, if he can't keep his hands up in this fight lawler will throw all the strikes nick didn't get being MIA for years.

Very protective indeed and will not tolerate something this big, so it is really a sad ending for Jon's and I think a lot of fans is disappointed with this kind of behavior, and right now there are no further on what may really happen to Jon Jones after this news spreads like wildfire,

Diaz may look old but I can feel the passion within him that he wants to return but apparently if he can sure withstand Lawler's punches then I think I am still going with the returning Nick Diaz.

I expected Brian Ortega to change his fortunes as he went to war in the past and failed to win the title and i thought this is his chance to win the title and yet again failed to win against Alexander Volkanovski.    Valentina Shevchenko win was expected and good to see that the fight went till the 4th round.
Ring rust of Nick Diaz was evident in the first round and Robbie Lawler was too good for him and hopefully we will see Nick Diaz active as this will be the last phase of his career.

Here are the results

The bottom line is that Ortega more or less had his toughness going for him, and that's about it. He always had that, but the question is how far that could take him. 9 out of 10 he loses both to Holloway and Volk. Still top tier, but if things don't shift drastically in that division, I doubt he can get past those two. And I even think he would have a tough time with Kattar, and that could be his next matchup as both have losses.

While Nick is dealing with Lawler, Jones is dealing with a lawyer. (just kidding)

For me, the fight seems OK, yes not that explosive but the thing is Nick Diaz is still coping up from the years he is vacant, from what I see Robbie has more arsenal than Diaz, this is Robbie Lawler evolves from their first fight from that first fight Nick Diaz has knockout Robbie from a punch and from this fight Robbie Lawler did the same exact punch that Nick Diaz did to him to knock him out, from when Nick came down Lawler didn't chase a TKO win if this is the old Robbie Lawler he might do the same, but I have seen a mature Lawler, but from that Nick Diaz has been hurt so much that he wants to quit on the fight, it seems that he wants to quit but he is still lingering inside the Octagon, like his finding himself, but from that fight, I really think Robbie Lawler doesn't have to prove anything and this is good timing to retire.
