Ufc

Definitely not the most exciting card as compared to the previous weeks dana has treated us too.

Fight of the night
Davey grant v adrian yanez
Coming of is loss to vera I expect the Englishman to come out showcasing all his talents. Yanez is a good prospect but davey will come out with a bang!

Main event, not too excited about this event as the goat amana nuñes will be fighting soon, furthermore the last main event between women was the one of if not the worst main event in ufc history. Tate has fire power but im not expecting anything gobsmacking about this fight-excuse the pun.

Also on the card are michael chiesa v sean brady as well as rani yahya v kang kyung ho. Both these will be bangers and can go eitherway.

Looking forward to the fights!

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Anyway..  My initial leans are Aori, McKinney, Lookboonme, Levy, Kang and Chiesa.
I've got Lookboonme, Kanf, and Chiesa. I'm fancying more of the underdogs this event, and while I'm avoiding betting on most of them, I expect that to be the case.

^  From a betting perspective it’s good to watch all of the events and most of the matches to somehow get a good feel for the future match ups these prospects could be in.  And you find value bets here and there from time to time.  I mean I’m not saying I’m a huge winner in betting MMA or anything but there are events that feels ‘easy’ cos you’ve already seen the fighters and their tendencies.
The sport is getting bigger, and bigger every year. I'm sure this would be easy to look up, but I believe there's over five hundred fighters on the roster now. The rate that the UFC as an organisation is growing is nice to see. Even if you're not a fan of Dana, it's nice to see a sport which has always struggled with growth seeming to break away from the negative stigma surrounding the sport. By negative stigma I mean brute's just smashing each others faces, I'll be honest originally I avoided watching it because I believed the stereotypes in it being a little over the top, and that's probably the case for a while.

I watched the first UFC event the other day, and it was incredible how there wasn't any rules, and there was multiple fight ending sequences that would be illegal these days.

UFC announced today new signing of 21 years old Muhammad Mokaev who is going to fight in flyweight division and they are already calling him flyweight Khabib.
He is coming from Dagestan, but he now lives in Manchester, England and has perfect 23-0 record as amateur and 4-0 as professional mma fighter.
Current UFC flyweight champion is Brandon Moreno, first contender is Deiveson Figueiredo, and fresh new blood will make things more interesting in this divison.

^ Not so great of a card in my opinion but this is all that we had so anyway in my opinion
No big names, but we've been spoiled the last few weeks with big names, and good cards. This might be an entertaining card regardless of the lack of big name fighters. Though, we've got some banger cards coming up in the next few weeks, so I can definitely accept having a subpar night before then.

Despite this event having no big names on it, I am still interested in the Main and Co-main fight, the Ketlen Vieira VS Miesha Tate, Michael Chiesa VS Sean Brady, and the Luana Pinheiro VS Sam Hughes, I will now gather information on every fighter and will come back on what will be my pick regarding this matches,

The Return of Ketlen Viera after so many months not active with the sports, after her, lost to Yana Kunitskaya, and after the win on Miesha Tate to Marion Reneau, this is going to be an interesting fight.

And if Michael Chiesa could make a dent on the undefeated Sean Brady, both can surely battle on the ground which will have a superior takedown and takedown defense,

I suspect most people will be putting their money on Sean Brady, but I'm really feeling a Chiesa win. Plus, I've started to gain my mojo back when it comes to fight predictions, I went through a particularly bad stage for a couple of months recently, so hopefully I'm right, and that continues.

Every Dagestan fighter gets compared to Khabib I feel. They fight completely different. It's quite crazy that during the time where Khabib was active, a lot of people didn't really think he was that good, and boring. Then, as soon as he retires they look for someone who's the next him.

My bet is the sexy fighting kitten in the main event hehehe. Miesha Tate is a MMA fighter, however, she can sometimes appear like a porn star. It is her eyes. Those eyes want to tell that you she might want to do something with you.

Don't know if anyone has reported it here, it's fairly new, but Ngannou brought in Glory HW champ Rico Verhoeven to help him out for his fight with Gane. It sparks an interest with me, I was alawys curious on how Rico would do in MMA. Maybe this is his step towards MMA. Maybe? Your opinions?

Maybe they will go with the undefeated fighter and right now you are right, stake.com most odds were for Sean Brady 1.61 for Sean Brady, and 2.28 for Michael Chiesa, I really think there are a lot of explosion for Chiesa than with Brady, in terms of striking I will go for Chiesa than with Brady and even though Chiesa was defeated by Vicente Luque on the ground this doesn't mean that Sean Brady will not struggle with Vicente Luque as well, but for me, there is a larger chance for Micheal Chiesa winning this in my opinion.

My bet is the sexy fighting kitten in the main event hehehe. Miesha Tate is a MMA fighter, however, she can sometimes appear like a porn star. It is her eyes. Those eyes want to tell that you she might want to do something with you.

I really love Miesha Tate getting on with another fight and that image you got was really hot to handle, anyway, their odds were pretty close at stake.com 1.83 for Ketlen Vieira and 1.94 for Miesha Tate, me this is really one close match to predict and both can grapple, and make serious strikes, for me I really think Miesha Tate has a lot of experience than Vieira, so I will go with Miesha Tate.

Exactly, just because Chiesa has struggled in the past with wrestlers, doesn't actually mean he's going to struggle again. I think we'll see him make the necessary adjustments to his game plan, and this fight will be won, and lost in the stand up, which like you say you've got to favour Chiesa on paper.

I don't expect a knockout, I expect a competitive fight right up until the end of the third round. Chiesa winning via unanimous decision. I expect cleaner shots, more impactful shots, and he's probably going to rock Brady at least once during the fight.

Why do they call him flyweight Khabib? Just because he is from Dagestan? And has a good score? There are other fighters from Dagestan in UFC, they came there also with a perfect score. But nobody called them <title> Khabib.

There is only one Khabib and other probably should be "Nurmagomedov team" Cheesy

Anyway, good luck to him, hope he will keep his perfect score Cheesy It is interesting to see how many fights he will need to get first title fight Cheesy

Yup! some I am seeing Chiesa have the experience to simply counter Brady, and I think fighters can surely gain more experience from that he lost than from winning a fight I surely believe that, It doesn't mean that you are undefeated you are very vulnerable in losing, and just like you I sure don't expect Michael Chiesa a TKO or a submission win on Brady I surely never underestimated Sean Brady as a fighter, Chiesa could win with the decision but if he can sure make it a TKO or a submission that is much awesome to see.

I never think that is offensive for Muhammad Mokaev, and if you look at him he resembles Khabib in a different way, and if you look at his Amateur and Pro record you can say he is indeed undefeated, well if this is the 2nd coming of Khabib I would surely love to see this.

Chimaev might be relatively new and has less experience than burns but I have seen Khamzat fight and I can say that he is a real prolific striker and his takedowns are also really good. But I think he has one flaw that when he is trying to defend he tends to catch the leg when the opponent is throwing any and if he times it wrong then it might be disastrous. But until now he seems to time it really well and scores a takedown of it.

Yeah, exactly. This guy knows his moves. Look how he defeats Combat Sambo World Champion Ikram Aliskerov in 2 minutes(clickable image):

He's the future of MMA. I agree with the commentators on that.

My bet is the sexy fighting kitten in the main event hehehe. Miesha Tate is a MMA fighter, however, she can sometimes appear like a porn star. It is her eyes. Those eyes want to tell that you she might want to do something with you.

I placed my bet on this beauty with 1.97 odds. Most bettors think she's not going to win. But not me. Smiley

Just saw a headline going around, it seems that the Adesanya / Whittaker scrap is set to take place on February 12th 2022. Not bad, it will give both fighters some much-deserved time to get into this as they should, as rested and as healed as possible. I can only imagine what tempo that must be, to be on the top of the division for that amount of time. Can't really speculate on the outcome, it's a bit too early for that.

I'm a fan of Adesanya so a slight bias, but I also have tremendous respect for Whittaker. This is easily the most anticipated fight throughout the whole UFC for me. I can't think of anyone else that I would be more hyped to be fighting each other. It's probably seconded by Conor vs Khabib a few years ago, but other than that I actually believe Whittaker has what it takes to cause an upset, and Adesanya always puts on a show.

Why do they call him flyweight Khabib? Just because he is from Dagestan? And has a good score? There are other fighters from Dagestan in UFC, they came there also with a perfect score. But nobody called them <title> Khabib.

I've heard it numerous times, I listen to a lot of podcasts surrounding the UFC, so I can't remember exactly which one, but they've alluded to several dagestan fighters being the next Khabib. Luckily, their other content is entertaining.

From what I can gather this particular fighter doesn't even have the style that Khabib has, which is basically executing basic moves to absolute perfection, which is rare even at an elite level competition.

Official weigh ins live in a couple of hours, guys..

UFC Fight Night 198  Vieira vs Tate Weigh in
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ercAbPYJe6Q

My picks for the event:

Pinhiero vs Hughes under 2.5 rounds at 1.96
Qileng to win at 2.34
Lookboonme at 2.33
Lutz at 1.97
Kang at 1.85
Vieira vs Tate under 4.5 rounds at 1.95

That’s a lot of small bets for me.  No more coins left for football or F1.  Lol.

Edit:  Almost forgot...  Don’t forget to make your picks at the Mult Master.

Sportsbet.io  UFC Vegas 43 Multi Master Challenge
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5371687.0

And if I’m winning one of my bets, it goes straight to Chiesa to win at 2.42.  Cheesy

Yeah, exactly. This guy knows his moves. Look how he defeats Combat Sambo World Champion Ikram Aliskerov in 2 minutes(clickable image):

He's the future of MMA. I agree with the commentators on that.

That is why I really like Khamzat Chimaev really get the Leon Edwards fight, he surely knows what he is doing in my opinion, that speed and strength that he showed to destroy the Sambo Champion are pretty remarkable with just a punch because he can not make a takedown while we can see he is outpowering his opponent, but Ikram Aliskerov has a background in combat sambo his takedown defense is remarkable, so Khamzat would take him out with a powerful punch. that out cold Ikram Aliskerov was really powerful.

This is why I am Khamzat all the way, regarding if he could make a title match against Kamaru Usman this is a different level fighter.

I am a Bobby Knuckles fan. Just love the guys style. But Imma be honest, Adesanya has his number at least 80% of the time they fight. I even wouldn't say Izzy is far superior than him, I just think he's style is perfect to counter Bobby's style. But I can always hope. Two killers.

Pinhiero vs Hughes under 2.5 rounds at 1.96
Qileng to win at 2.34
Lookboonme at 2.33
Lutz at 1.97
Kang at 1.85
Vieira vs Tate under 4.5 rounds at 1.95

That’s a lot of small bets for me.  No more coins left for football or F1.  Lol.

And if I’m winning one of my bets, it goes straight to Chiesa to win at 2.42.  Cheesy
I'm considering just avoiding this event, at least betting on it. Except for Chiesa who I'm pretty confident might pull off the upset here. Other than that most of the other fights are a coin toss, which I'm not willing to test my luck on. I kind of fancy Pinhiero, but I keep changing my mind with the rest of the fights. Anyway, we've got an amazing event coming up on the 11th of December, which I might just save my money for.

The thing is Adesanya will win 95% of the fights in the division, and that's meant that the division is starting to stagnate,  so despite being a Adesanya fan I'd like to see Whittaker take it. It at least spices up the division temporarily.

^  Pinherio should win but the line is too chalky.  I think a parlay with her and Yanez should give you a better line.

Here are the weigh in results.  Nobody missed weight.  The holidays is just around the corner.  These guys prolly want a chance to get their bonuses.

Ketlen Vieira (136) vs. Miesha Tate (135.5)
Sean Brady (170.5) vs. Michael Chiesa (170.5)
Kyung Ho Kang (136) vs. Rani Yahya (135.5)
Taila Santos (125.5) vs. Joanne Wood (126)
Davey Grant (135.5) vs. Adrian Yanez (135)
Tucker Lutz (145.5) vs. Pat Sabatini (145)
Rafa Garcia (155) vs. Natan Levy (154)
Loopy Godinez (115.5) vs. Loma Lookboonmee (115.5)
Terrance McKinney (155.5) vs. Fares Ziam (156)
Cody Durden (126) vs. Aori Qileng (126)
Shayilan Nuerdanbieke (145) vs. Sean Soriano (146)
Sam Hughes (115.5) vs. Luana Pinheiro (116)

UFC started early again and one prelim fight already finished but you can tune in and watch Soriano vs Nuerdanbieke now live.
My main pick for this fight card are Miesha Tate win in main event, odds on Michael Chiesa to win are juicy but anything can happen in that fight, Brady is still undefeated.
Taila Santos and Adrian Yanez should be sure wins but odds are so low that I would avoid betting on them.
