At present, I am not very satisfied with the performance of Test cricket in India. Because they play very well at home but can't perform very well abroad.
Consideration needs to be given to Indian players performing outside the country. I think there are a lot of young talented players in India right now, they have ample opportunity to replace the national team players. So we who are fans of India, we have to expect good performance from them. Of course, now they are moving slowly in this regard which is a good thing.

It's very strange for me as you are not satisfied with Indian test cricket performance just after losing one series against South Africa even they won back to back two series in Australia, and recently they are winning a series against England.
Right now, they are very well-prepared and having all material for future it is very good time for them because they have enough funds, and they are doing all required things which can give them very good result in long term basis, and I am feeling currently after Australia they are very organized sports body in cricket because mostly others are struggling or having many issues specially finances are the biggest issue for many countries, but they are very well-prepared and have good talented players as well with recently win U19CWC is also very good and showing how they are good in their planning for future.

I think that India has been quite well in the test cricket but the problem is people are concentrating more on the problems that were on the cricket board. But in my opinion, I think that India has been doing quite well in test cricket. Probably the problem is no one expected India to lose their recent test series and they did not live up to that expectation.

So, they expect the cricketers to be the best at their job. And if a player does below par for a short period of time people expect them to be removed from the team and get someone better. But, I didn't think that something like that will happen with Kohli as he is literally one of the best players to ever play cricket.

I think that India has been quite well in the test cricket but the problem is people are concentrating more on the problems that were on the cricket board. But in my opinion, I think that India has been doing quite well in test cricket. Probably the problem is no one expected India to lose their recent test series and they did not live up to that expectation.

Right now biggest issue is now after launching of IPL Indian cricket board is having good luxury and very good amount in their wallet so every one looking for perfection from them in all formats which is not possible because money is never been having any impact on player's performance it's completely another thing so currently too many expectations from Team India is also creating some good feud around them and after losing test series against struggling South Africa it's a lesson for them, and they are taking some good and right decisions but many not looking in this way.

Now it's good time for them to do some revolutionary changes in their domestic system and not relay all on just IPL because these changes can bring good results in long run for them.

Btw India has played  14 test match after BG Trophy and Won 7, lost 5 with 2 draw.

Why would you want to replace red ball specialists with the white ball players? If specialist players are performing bad then they should be replace with only red ball players, not the other way around. I don't remember Hardik playing any test match in last 3-4 so don't know what are you talking about by mentioning his name. BTW Siraj is young guy in test cricket, unless you only consider 19 yo as young.

New Zealand won there first test match against South Africa at Christchurch (17 to 21 Feb 2022) and they have not won any test series against New Zealand rather have lost 13 out of last 16 series. I think that makes more sense because we have seen a lot of teams making this mistake of playing players of the shorter format in test cricket, and that Idea failed really miserably, and then when the player lost their form we blamed the selector board for their mistake. And shit talked about a lot of players.

That type of over-eagerness should not be appreciated and I think the player who played test cricket better should be prioritized for test cricket than any other better player who plays one day or t20 good.

For me, I am always going to prefer experience over talent in test cricket. I know this is not the most popular belief but it is what it is. The reason why I think this is because test cricket takes a lot more skills than shorter formats of cricket.

In test cricket, bowlers bowl the same ball for 3-4 overs to set up the batsmen for a certain ball. But that doesn't exist in ODI or T20. And quite frankly I don't think the young players have the composure of doing that. I would rather trust my experienced bowlers in tests. But in the case of Suraj , I think he has some experience of the test even though it's quite minimal compared to a lot of others. But in the matches, he played he did quite well. So worth a shot I guess.

Seems like it. They honestly have a really tight schedule and it seems like fatigue will have a big role to play here. I am really interested to see how the youngsters play against Sri Lanka, to be honest.

Because today I have already seen Ishan Kishan play really well in the T20 matches against Sri Lanka. I believe India has some great young prospects and they could prove to be really useful in the coming matches that they have on the schedule.

23 innings and 36 wickets, he is still roaming in border line area where he can be replaced anytime if he failed to give some outstanding performance since there are many talented bowlers in the Queue. Kohli case is getting complicated day by day, he is dropped from matches because of different reasons but it looks like bcci is looking for his replacement.

After a humiliating defeat in the first Test, an innings and 276 runs, South Africa's return today was truly remarkable. With just 3 wickets in hand, they are able to score 238 runs. If they are able to collect 150-200 runs tomorrow, it will be difficult for New Zealand to win this match, despite their strong batting lineup. However, I do not think that New Zealand will lose this match, maybe New Zealand will win or the match will be a draw.
