I don't think India's collection was inadequate. The main reason for their defeat was that the bowlers could not play well. Australia's first 3 batsmen have destroyed India. The first 3 batsmen collected 212 runs. Meg Lanning returned to the dressing room with 97 runs. He missed his century for just 3 runs.
Australia has won all five matches. It looks like Australia will win the Women's World Cup without a hitch this time. The performance of their players is admirable.

This WC has lost its charm as Australia is unbeaten so far and it seems very much likely that they will take the Cup home. Apart from that full credit to teams of WI and SA for beating teams like NZ and England. I am sure in next WC we will see more improved performance from India and Bangladesh.
Even today India gave a decent target of 277 but couldn't defend it, purely a bowlers fault.

Well.. I was expecting Australia to win. Right now in women's cricket Australia is what India is in men's game. They have several superstars such as Ellyse Perry, Megan Schutt and Meg Lanning. Indians on the other hand are having a very unbalanced side, with the 39-year old Jhulan Goswami still heading the pace attack. This time the top order also failed for India (Smriti Mandhana and Shafali Verma made a total of 22 runs between them), but Mithali Raj and Harmanpreet Kaur guided them to a decent total. But in the end, it came to experience and better ability to preform under pressure.

Well you forget to mention NZ, just before the WC India Women team lost very badly to NZ. I don't think India was in the list of teams that can win the title, before the start of tournament. There were three favourites Australia, NZ and England. NZ still in the run to qualify for semis while it looks difficult for England to qualify for semis.

Shakib Al Hasan was man of the match who scored 77 runs. I think the Indian women's team has improved a lot. However, India have yet to form a team to win the title by challenging teams like South Africa and Australia. They have a number of talented players. Hopefully gradually they will become stronger. The players of the Indian women's team are very hardworking. Maybe in the next Women's World Cup, they will win the title by challenging a team like Australia / South Africa.

I hope the same for Indian and Pakistani women cricket team as well. Cricket brings so much joy to the subcontinent. That's the only sport which is well celebrated in India, Bangladesh and Pakistan. The woman team must be given the same attention the men gets. I hope to see these teams coming back to the ground with strength like Aussies

It is a huge win for Bangladesh as i did not expect this kind of performance from Bangladesh while touring and the odds were huge if you placed a bet on Bangladesh to win the match and they batted really well and they were able to pick wickets and put pressure back on South Africa and it was a great victory. Tomorrow is the next match and the odds are still showing Bangladesh as a heavy underdog, but i am not sure whether they will showcase the same level of performance.

In this event first time we have three teams from subcontinent and other thing is some good performances from Indian, Bangladeshi and Pakistani women's can encourage thousands of others at their respective countries specially Bangladeshi women's are in good touch after beating Pakistan and having very close lost against West Indians even once I was sure these ladies can win but sadly their poor skills and inexperience give them this shocking lost otherwise this was going to be historic movement for them as first time entry and won two matches which is really amazing performance.

Right now Indian women's are fighting for place in semifinal even now it's looking difficult but still have good chance. Pakistani Sidra first player completing a hundred in this competition, another milestone look like all well for these all women.

It is a huge win for Bangladesh as i did not expect this kind of performance from Bangladesh while touring and the odds were huge if you placed a bet on Bangladesh to win the match and they batted really well and they were able to pick wickets and put pressure back on South Africa and it was a great victory. Tomorrow is the next match and the odds are still showing Bangladesh as a heavy underdog, but i am not sure whether they will showcase the same level of performance.

Shakib's entry is huge benefit for them, and they have done historic win against mighty South Africa in away match after having great win in test against New Zealand now peoples can feel good for win again in tomorrow match and first ever series win against South Africa after first ever win in ODI in South Africa.
 
From start, they were in good touch with Tamim, Litton and Yasir all were on fire with Shakib after having very solid target of 314 in bowling again they were very good and not allowed any South African for having any good chance for giving them challenge David Miller and Van Der Dussen both try for some resistance but it's well short fall now tomorrow match is also going to be very exciting hopefully we will watch very entertaining match from both teams.

This is an important match for both teams. A loss here for England means they are going back home while for NZ-W a win here definitely means a chance to play semi. Nobody has predicted such tight points table before the start of this WC.
So far England is favorite for this game as they bowled out NZ for 203 runs in 49 overs and in there innings they are 42/1 in 9 overs.

Yes it will start shortly at Johannesburg. Bangladesh played quite well in first game but there only issue is consistency. After a great victory in the first match, Bangladesh decided to bat after winning the toss in the second match. Now it seems they were overconfident today. Overconfidence is never good. Bangladesh lost two wickets for only 8 runs. Tamim returned to the dressing room with 1 run and Shakib with 0 runs. Mushfiqur and Liton are now at the crease. If they can't prolong the partnership then Bangladesh will lose badly in this match.
