Uh oh. I just stumbled across this article: http://www.kitguru.net/components/anton-shilov/tsmc-extends-28nm-chip-lead-time-to-16-weeks-puts-chip-designers-at-risk/

Quote
Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. has extended lead time for production of chips using 28nm process technology from ten to 16 weeks recently, a media report reads. The company reportedly claimed that the demand for 28nm manufacturing process is very high and therefore orders placed in May would take more time to complete.

According to DigiTimes, TSMC had warned its clients that orders placed this month may not be fulfilled until September or October due to tight production schedules.

2 Spondoolie SP10's for sale in NJ

If you live in or around NJ and want a couple SP10's let me know. Dad and I are selling ours that we just received this week. Both work perfectly, are built like tanks but just a little too noisy for us in our homes. My girlfriend rules my world I guess. We just don't have the accommodations and setup like some of you have at home so that's why we are selling them. And it kills me as I write this because bitcoin is now over $600.

We paid $2795+$193 shipping = $2988

We are selling both for $5200, which is $2600 for each one. Gives you almost $400 off each one. Please, the price is firm.

If you are interested please message me here on the forums and I'll give you my contact information. I would need to drive my SP10 to my Dad's place, which is a couple hours away so if you are interested please contact me as soon as you can. I'll check the forums as much as I can today.

Thank you,

Michael

Why not colocate them here?

Nice!  These guys are super close to me (about 20 minutes).  I can vouch for them, as my buddy had a colo'd server that ran ventrilo for me & friends.

Anyone proof of these devices...Anyone has a model running or has been delivered??? Or to good to be true...
I've got one. It is absolutely superb, a masterpiece of engineering. A professional server-grade miner.

Designed for data centres. Too loud for home use, unless you have sound-proofing e.g. a special rack cabinet.

Run a Bitcoin node, support the network.

They might be on holidays...

Due to Shavuot ("Feast of Weeks", Pentecost) holiday, shipments will be done on Saturday night, Monday and Thursday.

They can do larger orders and better rates I am pretty sure. Talk to Roadstress in PM he can help you track down the STech guys... if they are even available at this time.

Yes, latest image has slightly better rate in pool - that is also because of the new interface with cgminer allowing 2 shares per job.

Received a unit today - very thoughtful design and packaging (my unit came from a skid holding several) The noise at startup with 100% fans is hilariously highpitched and loud.

currently running at 1.25TH  with 40% fans and 84C at the exhaust. At 40% fans the PSU is distinctly a bit louder. I might tweak it down aiming for 80C soon

edit: got this thing up on the windowsill and built a nice housing for it out of the carboard box/form it shipped in. does a very good job bringing noise down by about 50%. However, while the miner webpage says I have a speed of 1.295TH my eligius pool is only reporting ~1.1TH http://eligius.st/~wizkid057/newstats/userstats.php/1Kt7LQ2MgGmyAWVFr8L8qQzwPhubK2QtCM.  Input/exhaust temps are 30C/66C  (inlet is more like 23C in reality).

is this issue just related to needing a better 3hr sample or is something in need of tweaking?

24" PCI-E cables with 16AWG wires and stripped ends - great for server PSU mods, best prices https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=563461

Yes, wait for your 3 hour sampling that's what it uses for your estimates.

For some reason after multiple successful fedex deliveries... my next order was shipped DHL?

I did read they were going to try different delivery companies. I think FedEx is the best, but DHL works Saturdays, and maybe that's what their looking for.
