The draw makes arsenal's points not too far from the clubs below like manchester city and newcastle, i think newcastle played well last night with good defense because i believe they also don't want to drop points and let arsenal take full points, i think this is manchester city's opportunity to get full points against chelsea tonight

If Manchester City beat Chelsea tomorrow then things will get very close at the top of the table.

Well, handing Salah a new contract just 6 months ago for £350,000 per week (making him the highest paid player in the history of the club) was a mistake. They signed him from Roma when he was around 24 years old in 2017, he will never be the same player and will never give them the same amount of goals ratio as he did before.

It is time for them to make up for this point loss by defeating Chelsea away. In their last head-to-head in this stadium, Manchester City were very dominant and won 1-0. This time there is no Tuchel as well and I think the gap might be bigger.

Well, they had some difficulties but it wasn't also too difficult at the end. Chelsea closed the center with 6 players in the first half. City had a hard time because they were not in the formation to play on the wing. Then, when the wing players started to use the edges effectively, the block in the center was dissolved and the match was resolved. Pep is 5 points behind but still progresses with interesting trial and error even in big matches. It is a big question whether this team can become the champion this year. Guardiola took the field with a very unnecessary invention in the first half against Chelsea, where 6 of the first 11 players were injured. The first shot on target came in 38 minutes and the only exciting position in the first half was City's counterattack after chukwumueka's ball returning from the post. Fortunately, in the second half, he returned from this mistake and did not let Chelsea out of the first 10 minutes, then Mahrez and Grealish scored. There's nothing to say for Potter, that's all with the line-up, plus Zakaria is really underrated. A crucial 3 points for City in the week Arsenal lost points.

Absolutely right, it was a narrow but vital win for Manchester City in order to keep the pressure on Arsenal. Whatever the Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa was doing cost them a goal and with it at least a point. It seemed like it was ahead of him and he misjudged it but in the end they lost the game and are 10 points plus goal difference from 4th place.

Saying Chelsea and Liverpool are having a bad season (as true as it is), is an understatement. Both clubs were expected to deliver more. If they both miss out on Champions League next season they only have themselves to blame. At the start of the season who would have thought Manchester United, Newcastle United and Arsenal would be joining Manchester City in the top four at the expense of Chelsea and Liverpool?

Odd situation from Kepa. Cucurella was in a great position to stop Mahrez, but Kepa's movement toward the ball prevented him from doing so because he believed Kepa had control of the situation. The ball was directly in front of him. I'm not sure if the absence of Mane or Salah's poor form is what is causing Liverpool to struggle, Chelsea's poor start to the season can be excused due to the number of injuries since the season began; we currently have 9 first team players out injured and 1 bench player (Broja).

I assume you're joking; we're currently in 10th place, 10 points behind the top four, and you're impressed? Are you aware that we are getting closer to the bottom three? I just hope this doesn't end up like the 2015 campaign. If you watch us play, you will not say this. Chelsea is one of the worst teams this season.

Kepa probably had a bad day at the office (so to speak) because he has done fairly well when he has been asked to cover when Mendy did not play. Apart from the missed cross against Manchester City, he has been playing well. Just look at what De Gea did for Manchester United when they played Everton in the FA Cup yesterday, the ball went through his legs in a way that was shambolic and not acceptable for a Premier League goalkeeper. These things can happen to the best from time to time.

In my opinion Chelsea might have put a run together to make a late chase for a top four finish if they had Tuchel as manager but Potter simply is way out of his depth. The club is far too big for a manager such as Potter who is basically unproven at the highest level. You cannot count his time as Brighton and Hove Albion manager as a success though he did well with limited resources.

As for Liverpool, maybe it is a dip in form of Salah combined with missing the technical play and driving force of Mane that has contributed to Liverpool falling in to a miserable decline.

Chelsea seemed really eager to score especially in the first half of that match. However they couldn't score and Manchester City punished them for wasting many chances. Chelsea are still dealing with big issues when it comes to finishing. We will see if David Datro Fofana can make the attacking line more productive.

The fans might be wishing Nkunku was able to join Chelsea squad in January already. I think he would have made the biggest impact there.

Newcastle will probably be the surprise of the season in case they managed to qualify to the CL, they look like a solid team till now. However, the second part of the season is the decisive one so it's early to predict the qualified teams. For Chelsea, they have already annouced some new signings, but I doubt that will change something as the problem lies in their coach IMO.

I believe that the biggest mistake by the new owner’s was not to give Tuchel some more time, because he’s an experienced coach and he could have probably rectified his mistakes and gotten this squad to perform well in the long run. Furthermore they’re buying young player’s who could probably perform well in year’s to come, but that won’t help them in the short term and currently I wonder how long will Chelsea board continue to back Potter who clearly has lost the fan’s support.

Tuchel looked as though he had lost the dressing room but still could have turned things around. The new owners said Potter was a long term appointment and no matter what happened he would not be sacked this season.

Actually, Chelsea also can't rush to fire Potter considering now they will have difficulty finding a replacement. Not many top coaches are willing to take on the Blues. In addition, Potter has a good report card while dealing with Brighton. He can form and develop a team as long as given enough time.

Now what Chelsea needs to give is the full support and resources to build a squad. Potter has only been in charge of the team in 17 matches, there is still plenty of opportunity because most of the injured players have relapses, recover for a while, then get injured again and have to be out for quite a while. This problem prevented Potter from maximizing the potential of his team.

Newcastle were very good defensively, Arsenal deserved the win but Newcastle were irritating with their time wasting strategy and seemed to have settled for the draw game. The five minutes added in extra time was not sufficient for the time they wasted. Arsenal now eight points at the top, dropping points even with our home advantage. But generally it is better one point than no point at all. Newcastle will celebrate that they have been able to avoid loosing in the game even with the pressure Arsenal put on them in the second Half. Everyone who bet this game as "both teams to score" have lost their bets. Arsenals next EPL game is against Tottenham, I hope we win that because the couple of games after that are really strong games. We need all the points we can get before we play MU and Manchester City.

Yea a point is better than none, so up next is a London derby with Tottenham, many things are at stake in this match dropping further points in this game will see Manchester city close in on them at the top of the table, it's a derby so let's not forget about the bragging rights in London is also at stake and Arsenal are away haven won the reverse fixture last year at the Emirate stadium.
It's going to be s hard one for arsenal as Tottenham won't be an easy ride for table topping arsenal, I think they will settle for a draw as I don't see arsenal going with all three points.
