we are not the same person.
we're telling you for your own good. if you don't believe us, just try it.
for example, if you have two same rigs or even two same GPU-s, put them on the same pul. just change miner rev, 4.0 on one, 6.1 on other, and put them on different adresses. i can bet that you'll get at least 20% less hash on pool and also 20% less xmr in wallet with 6.1.
so, the question is: is this just sucky miner version, or clay raised fee?
is that correct so v4.0 gives more coins and v6.1 lower due to higher fee?

I have modified the driver v14.6 rc2, which is nowhere on the internet, and use only them. 6 gpu on 1 rig, on win 8.1 x64 work fine.

Could someone be kind enough to point me to the latest versions of the GPU mining software for Windows and Linux?
Thanks in advance.

There ain't no Linux miner available and please refer to page 1 of this thread for a link to the latest miner for AMD cards.

people, 6.1 miner sucks. it shows a couple % more hash in miner itself, but pool says 20-30% less, and you get 20-30% less xmr in your wallet.
also, clay added two more dev fee adresses for you guys that are using older minerproxys.
4.0 miner + minerproxy works the best.
5% is just too much.
Yup, I totally agree! I was getting robbed using 6.1. Going back to 4.0 brought up my hash at both pools I use. **6.1 is a piece of shit**

Windows 8.1, 32GB Ram, 2x r9 290 and Im getting about 1200h combined rate in the Claymore console. Is that normal for r9 290s? Are there any switches or parameters I could pass when starting the program to increase hash rate?

If Elpida memory then yes it's okay hash If Hynix then overclock to 1075/1500 and bump voltage very slightly (.025v) You should get 750h+ per card.. So count on 1.5khash total Also use 4.0 miner! Newer versions report higher hash in console but significantly lower "real" hash on pool. On dwarfpool I see 15-20% difference!

How can I determine what memory I have? I still have the boxes would it say on them? Windows 8.1, 32GB Ram, 2x r9 290 and Im getting about 1200h combined rate in the Claymore console. No. You have to use software such as MSI afterburner.
